| Hello everyone! this is my first tutorial here, and I hope you like it and use it in the future Today I'm gonna show you how I did the animation for this signature: *Taken from my 100 theme challenge*As you can see, it has an animation inside the circle and one different outside.
- To begin, we need 2 separated gifs, for this signature I made both gifs myself:
- After you find your gifs, open both of them on Photoshop
*NOTE: Is very important that both of your gifs have the same amount of frames, it makes the animation easier*
- Now, what we are gonna do is go to the smaller gif (the one we want to put inside the circle, let's call it gif2) and select all the frames and we are gonna copy them
- Now, we go to our first gif, again select all the frames and click on "Paste frames" but this time we have to select the option "Paste over selection"
- To make things easier, we are gonna make one group of layers, and we are gonna put inside that group all layers that make the gif2:
- Now we can just select the group and move the gif2 wherever you want to place it . Now for the circle, we are gonna take the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a circle over the gif2
- And now we are gonna make a Mask with that shape, for that you have to select the group that contains the gif2 layers and click here:
- And "TaDaaaa~" you'll have this:
- After that you only have to add some textures, psd, fonts, whatever you want
I hope it wasn't too complicated and if you have ANY doubt, just ask #ag #agtutorial |

| This question is about making gifs in Photoshop in general. Is there a certain file type for videos that has to be used? I tried to open a .mkv and it wasn't happy about it. |

If you are working with photoshop, my recommendation is to use .mp4 files I find that photoshop can process better those kind of files |
