A Typical Lady (for Chibiusa) just for fun.

After a day of less than interesting lessons from her mother,
Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity, better known as Small Lady, enjoys
winding down and writing in her personal diary, where she loves to come
up with eloquent stories and poems. This is one of those entries.


Sugar and spice
but frankly I’m not too nice
So if you cross me,
you better look twice.

I’m that pink cutie pie
with that time-space key
and my partner in crime
Miss Luna P.

Shooting pink hearts
or casting a spell
even call my main squeeze
with my twinkle yell.

Yes I am Small Lady
Heir to the crown
When I walk yo’ way
YOU BEST BOW DOWN.

For Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion

the dim reflection
upon the glimmering sea
under the moon’s perfection.

Red as the rose
presented on this night

The warmth of man

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED, MY FRIEND. I feel like that would be so much fun! I really should try it one day. I actually live in Maryland, fairly close to D.C. and there's this restaurant called Busboys and Poets where they do spoken word. I need to go one time.

Spoken word is basically poetry performed on stage. It could be anything from a poetry reading, to a rap, to even a poetic monologue. It's so various!

and THANK YOU! Yeah, I tend to work more on the Sailor Moon tumblr, which is why my personal is sort of just hiding.

This one is called Shadows beneath the moonlit city.

For Mamoru Chiba

Sometimes I wonder
about the troubles
which haunt you at night
while you sweat with
fear out of sight

Drifting in shadows
lay your heart and soul.
For some small moments
Your mind, black as coal.

For a blessing it is
for you to come back
when cognition was lost
when graciousness lacked.

I really like Mamoru's poem, I just think of him and his nightmares when he's trying to find out who Sailor Moon is and how to find the 'Imperium Silver Crystal.' (Lol, I grew up on dub).

I just love your choice of words and the way you make your poems flow. So jealous!

I don't think you realized how elated you just made me feel, you wonderful reader. Thank you so much!
and don't worry, I grew up on the dub too. His dreams used to be so inspirational in a way that shows he already loved Usagi. He just didn't know it yet. I wanted to write about that.

It was so romantic. I loved the original dub voice actor for Serena when she was speaking in his dreams.

It's so good that Sailor Moon inspires you so much to write poetry, it's like your muse. Are you working on anything else at the moment in terms of poetry?

Yes. I loved that aspect of the dub the best. I thought it was cute.

And thank you! Just out of the blue one day, I was thinking about Sailor Moon (before I joined tumblr and GC) and I was like "HEY I could write about this!" and that's where the inspiration came from.

And as for regular poetry, I just write ideas down as they come. Recently, I haven't had much time because I'm writing a novel for National Novel Writing Month. You have to write 50,000 words by the end of November!

yes I'm crazy. LOL Lots of late nights this month.

This one is called Of Ice and Tears.

For Sailor Mercury

Despite the intellect bestowed
upon my gentle heart
I am alone
seeking solace
as I wait for
love.

Ice shards
rip my heart in two.
Water flows through
my skin, nourishes
my wealth of knowledge
my unspeakable power.

Ah I love it! It's so Mercury and very bittersweet, poor girl is so unlucky in love.

So THAT'S what NaNoWriMo is, I was never clear on what it was about. I'm so doing this next year. I always need a challenge or excuse to write something otherwise I give up.

Okay so here is a new poem I wrote. It's called The Gods' Gift.


Even through your eyes,
you may not recognize
that a heroine is born
an angel in disguise
here to save the day
from hopelessness and lies

to bring back life
to keep these clouds in the clear blue skies
where one day she hopes to fly.
