Hello everyone. Welcome to May's Otaku Senshi Contest! This month's theme is....


Comic Book Characters! What does this mean? It means that I want you to take any comic book superhero (like DC, Marvel, etc.) and turn them into a Sailor Senshi!

Note: Please, if you wish to participate, only create and work on your doll within this doll maker. No taking your doll and making modifications in programs such as GIMP, Photoshop, Paint, Photofiltre, etc. If this is violated, the entry will be pulled and disqualified.

Deadline: May 15th! I plan to get more entries this time!
Voting: Voting will begin on the 16th and will conclude on the 20th, giving 5 days of voting.

The Rules:
1. The entry MUST be comic book character-esque.
2. All entries must be PG-13 or lower. Nudity is only accepted on case-by-case basis and if it is in tasteful art form. It will also need a warning.
3. You may not show anyone else on GC your entry until after the contest is completely over (i.e. the winner has been decided)
4. Only doll creations (from the provided link) may be submitted.
5. Please upload your entry to a photo hosting website such as Photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, etc. Please make sure your submitted image of your doll is working! It is not my responsibility to chase you down and wait to get any errors fixed. It also slows the entire contest down, so please double check!
6. All artists may submit only one entry to me, Sailor Mars (via PM).
7. You must include brief information about your senshi, including:
- The senshi name
- Influences/powers
- Brief description paragraph (which can include where they are from, what their way of life is like, etc.). Be reasonable!
8. Have fun with it! Be creative!

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here in this thread that way everyone can see them in case they have a similar question!

Does it have to be a hero, or can we do a comic book villain?

Hmm... I suppose I can reword it and it can be "Comic Book Character". I hope I don't get a fleet of just villains though otherwise I will have to redo this contest because it is NOT a comic book villain contest.

I'm usually not much of a comic book fan, but~, I do have a character in mind to give a crossover. :3

a list of just female hero from one of the things like DC is long so i had to use popular in the search to make a smaller list.

Pff. I could name a dozen right now. xD; So if anyone needs one...

Keep in mine comic book hero doesn't have to necessarily be DC or Marvel. You could take from other graphic novel series like Scott Pilgrim for example.

Thank you Brit ^^ DC and Marvel are just used as examples to highlight the comic book emphasis, but they aren't the only ones allowed!

Mine is almost done I'm just trying to figure out how to phrase every thing.

I have no idea how to save whatever I created on Doll Divine in order to submit it. I think I've had this problem before, which is why I've never entered.

After your doll is created, right click on the final image and save to documents or whatever folder on your computer then you can upload it to photobucket or an imagehost site and email it^^ hope this helps

there is a save botton that will open a new window in the game and from there you can right click and save.

I have my design mostly complete, I just need to do some basic work with it. ^^
