| Hello! It's nice to meet you all. You can just call me ToriJ or Tori if you'd prefer. I'm a huge fan of Sailor Moon and happen upon this site by chance, and I'm so, so glad I did.
Frequency asked questions about me, "Are you a boy or a girl?" Boy. "Why are you using a female alias?" I like Tori. Tori's a cool name. "What does the J stand for?" Jenova. Short for ToriJenova Productions, which is what I named my YouTube channel back in 2009. "Is that a boy or a girl in your avatar?" Girl. "Why are you using a girl to represent you?" I'm a reversed Starlight. I lived a long, long time ago on a planet called Gallifrey in the Delta quadrant.
Now that's that out of the way a little bit about me I lived in Kansas City, Kansas my whole life. Never had cable, unfortunately. Dad refused to spend any extra money on anything as often as he possibly could. Fortunately some of my cousins who I often visited during the Summer as a kid did have cable. One afternoon we were watching Cartoon Network, and that was the first time I ever laid eyes on Sailor Moon. Episode 102. Had no idea what was going on, didn't help that it was a second parter, but the car scene with Usagi, Haruka and Michiru really stuck with me, and my cousins were kind enough to give me some old tapes so I could watch the first season and I've been a fan of the show ever since. I wouldn't find out about the Starlights until 2005 after I got my first computer and discovered there was an entire season I didn't get to see. So I fix that right quick and loved it.
I don't consider myself having an official favorite because frankly I love every single Senshi for different reasons, but if I really had to choose it'd probably be Sailor Moon herself solely because growing up watching her we had a lot in common. We both hated school we both loved to eat, sleep, daydream and play video games. I wasn't a total klutz as she was, but I'd be lying if I said I never had an embarrassing fall or two. But that's a story for another time. Again, so nice to be here and a pleasure to meet you all.
