| Has anyone ever played the Sailor Moon CCG? Or at least bought/collected some of the cards? I have quite a few in my possession because I bought a starter deck and booster packs. However, I never had anyone to play the game with.
For those that are curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailor_Moon_Collectible_Card_Game
For those that are familiar with pen and paper RPG games, the Sailor Moon CCG was based off of the Big Eyes, Small Mouths RPG game. And on top of that, there was also a pen and paper SM RPG (which came out around the same time as the cards). Unfortunately, the game didn't last too long in the market, despite the popularity of Sailor Moon at the time and winning the Origins Award of "Best Trading Card Game" of 2000. Probably about 2 years later, it started leaving shelves and now its a bit harder to obtain the cards without spending obscene amounts of money on the decks.
List of cards: http://www.tradecardsonline.com/im/selectCard/series_id/1338/goal/ http://www.tradecardsonline.com/im/selectCard/series_id/1339/goal/
Anyway, discuss! reminisce! All the nostalgia feels! Lol

| So...do you guys think there would be an interest to play the game if there was a way to play it through a card game client and online with other people? |

I need rally figured out how to play, web though I probably have enough cards to my hubby and I to eah have a deck. |

| Well you see, right now, there ISN'T a way to play online. However...with lots of work and time, I found a client that allows you to play CCGs online with other people. Thing is, the SM CCG would have to be coded from scratch. o.o It would be a very big project, but I've always wanted to play and thought itd be neat if I could play it online much like the Magic the Gathering type online CCG games.
I just dunno how to code. Though I've found a tutorial that teaches you the coding language for the client.
It'd just be such a ridiculously huge project. xD

| The coding language that is used is called Python: http://www.trypython.org/#part1
That's an interactive tutorial on how to code in python. There's a bit more to it for coding specifically for the card game program. |

| I went and bought a bunch of random Past and Future packs back in the day when these where still being sold. I never was able to buy a complete deck or had enough cards to build one. Even if I did have enough cards, I still had no idea how to actually play it. It wasn't until many years later I was finally able to see it in action with this video and this.
I'd like to try and get a complete set sometime, as well as 2 fully functional decks (that way if I find someone who is interested in playing it, they would be able to join in). Too bad they never made it past R, I would have loved to seen cards for the S and SuperS seasons.
I also love how both the card game and regular trading cards featured images/people/things/events that where cut from the North American dub. Lol! |

| I found my small collection in my room the other day, I don't think I wold have enough to play, I just have one villain and one knight card, the rest are monsters and events, ive always been interested in learning how to play, but never had anyone to play it with me, so I never bothered. I wish I could help with the coding, but sadly I don't know anything about programming =[ |
