I thought I'd share with you all some of my drawings! They're all very sketchy and unfinished, I have a bad habit of drawings lots of stuff but never taking it that one step further. One day I'll have to fix that... ^.^ But for now, check 'em out!
Also, sorry about the lack of quality in the images, my scanner isn't hooked up right now, so I just took pictures with my phone.
Starting with the lady of the hour, Sailor Moon! I used to draw a lot more Sailor Moon fan art, but now I draw lots of other things too. Sailor Moon is honestly what got me into drawing, something that I now wish was different (as much as I enjoy it) because everything I draw/make tends to take on an animated quality to it. I wasn't necessarily trying to make her look like either the anime or the manga, just trying to do my own thing. I do plan on making this a complete artwork... eventually.
This is a character that I was drawing for my husband.
Another character for my man, only I drew her in a chibi style. ^.^
Disney's lovely Princess Ariel (and my favorite!). I was going to enter this into a drawing contest at one of their new resorts, but then I decided to keep it for myself.
The style I'm kind of working on at the moment.
I was planning on making my own avatar before I began posting, but that was going to take me too long what with real life stuff, so here is the sketch.
Thanks for looking! Comments/critiques are welcome, I'd love to know what you think!

Oh wow I really love your style! It looks very nice! I kinda like the sketchy look xD I think my favorite is the last one. Something about the expression really makes me like it even more :3 And also her cute nose haha
Please make sure to post more of your works when you have them! :3

Thanks you guys! It's taken me a while to get where I'm with my drawing, especially the anatomy. I wish I could find my very first drawing of Sailor Moon, that would be a hoot to see.

Oh those are nice! And to answer your question I would recommend you try both digital and traditional coloring so that you can see the difference and of course, colors on a computer screen are always better when done digitally since most scanners eat the colors

Here she is, in one stage of completion, after coloring with prismacolors. I don't usually do backgrounds on my art, I'm usually just interested in drawing the character. However, I feel like she deserves a little more than a plain, white background. Any opinions? I'm not very good at coming up with those kind of ideas.

Wow, your scanner does a great job o_O Mine is eating most of the colors and even if I try to adjust it afterwards, the results are far from being this good
^-^ Yay for Tokyo!

New, rough sketch drawing. Tsuki convinced me to join the Reverse role-play thread, so this was very much inspired by that. Plus Sailor Moon looks pretty awesome with a hand gun. Like Super Sailor Moon, I do intend to finish this one!
I was trying to go for a blend between manga/anime and American superhero comics.

New artwork! I'm starting the Ultimate Sailor Moon Fanart Challenge (have you heard of it, you can find info here), and first up is Tsukino Usagi.
From this:
to this:
My first full watercolor painting. I have a lot to improve on, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. What I am disgusted with is the eyes. I guess because I draw much better than I paint.
The scan really stinks too. It looked better on my desktop, but now it just looks kind of bad.

This looks great Neko! And I know how scanners can ruin the colors sometimes but this one has the bright and beautiful colors! Nice job!

Surprise! It's not Sailor Moon! It's from a really cute manga called Kirara Princess, which you can read here! It's kind of like Kingdom Hearts, but with a girl as the protagonist. Either way, it's a manga with Disney Princesses, so I <3 it!
Also, the address stamped on the picture is for my tumblr, which should be up later this week.

Why haven't I seen this yet?! I love your newest sketch and watercoloring!!! I think the watercolor looks really vibrant and pretty even if you think it didn't scan well. It doesn't look bad at all, it looks really really good! I love your style so much.
And your manga coloring is awesome! I love the subtle shading in Ariel's hair and the lighting/shine effects of the blonde girlie's hair. So pretty! I might have to read this manga xD
I can't wait till you have a tumblr up so I can stalk you on there xD hahah <3

New, very glittery/sparkly/girly manga coloring! I'm having a lot of fun with these, I feel like I'm learning a ton about digital coloring, so maybe my next artwork will be digital instead of traditional.
Also, my Tumblr is up, it's called Drawn from Dreams, and I'll be blogging about Disney/other pretty animated films and magical girls!

Sailor Moon fan art challenge number 2! I have to do these in order so I don't get hung up on the lesser characters.
I was really trying to go for a delicate softness, which is what I absolutely love about Naoko's work in the artbooks. I feel like after having learned so much on this piece, I might do the rest of the challenge digitally, since my scanner does not always agree with things. I'm probably going to do Usagi over since I can probably now get the look I was going for.
Side note: I'm not sure how I feel about how DeviantART embeds images...
