| That's actually the Korean version of the Star Locket, not the Japanese Bandai one the seller claims it to be :/
Oh wait he didn't say it was the Japanese XD *facepalm* no wonder the price then since it's not the Bandai one >.> |

| It looks to be the exact same as the one that sold a few months ago for $600. I was searching them and that's actually how I found this forum. lol |

| $100 is cheap...even though its not Japanese. *foams at the mouth* I WANT IT.
Edit: Ok, considering it has some scratches and stuff on it and its NOT the japanese version...I think the seller should have started the bid half the price. It would have shot up. :/ |

Oooh another one! This one looks to be the same, Korean- made in China but the listing states it was made in Japan. Started at $100.
They're both Version 5 on this list and so is the one in an older post on here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261077012655 The listings are very similar and it does appear to be the same version.
I know the Japanese one is worth more and it's weird how inconsistent the "worth" of the other versions are. Wish the new version was similar, in any pics I've seen it doesn't open or anything. |

(I don't really mind, though :U ) It could be a legit version, but maybe like a Hong Kong run. I saw, about a year back, some of the Hong Kong versions of the art books for sale on amazon for decent prices. They might not be Japanese, but they are still considered official. Like that locket, it's still official merchandise, just not the Japanese run of the product. My issue with that listing is that the seller is listing it for $100 starting bid when the damn thing is scratched and has cosmetic damage to it. If it was better looking, i'd pay more for another country's version of merchandise if it were in better condition. But i dunno how much that locket normally runs. :/ |

| It didn't start at $100... well one of them did. One started at $50(the one with scratches) and the one claiming to be made in Japan started at $100. I saw another one today with very little info that started at $9.99. This is strangely interesting to me. haha I never bid on eBay so maybe this is all normal but the starting bid and how much info is put in the listing affect the bids a lot apparently? I'd be afraid to bid much for the non-informative one because you don't know if it works, if it has scratches, what version it is. Or the one that says made in Japan- just misleading and it bugs me. I'm okay buying things with minor damage as long as I know about it, you know? - Small Lady wrote:

| Oh the one with the scratches I didn't notice any bids on it when I first looked at it so I thought it was starting at $100. A starting bid of $50 for that one is much more reasonable.
And I totally agree about the one with little info. Since it's so cheap, I'd probably try to buy it for no more than like $20. Then if its broken...oh well, it would at least make a nice cosplay accessory ya know? |

Ooh This one is at $152.50 and is about to end. :O
I messaged the person with the one claiming to be the Japanese one asking for more pics with a name card and no response. Their second picture posted on there is easily found on google image search and that pic is also not the Japanese version so... I don't believe that person! |

I noticed this one was removed and reposted. I messaged the seller and posted links to where I found those pics(the second pic is not that Japanese version and the third is but it's stolen from this blog) I wasn't sure if eBay took it down or the seller but it looks like eBay did and then reinstated it with the bids and all.
I'm kinda miffed I don't think it's fair this person is selling an item, won't post actual pictures and proof they have it and are stealing photos from other sites of two different lockets and claiming it to be the item they're selling. |
