Because it is her birthday and because this didn't already exist, I thought I'd make an appreciation/dedication thread for Ami.




Ever since the days of watching the NA dub, she was always the one I related to the most. At the beginning, she was quiet, kept to herself mostly, and was more interested in books than people. That was me growing up and still is me sometimes. I love books, I love to learn and research random things, and, like her, I have my close-knit group of friends without whom I would still probably be that awkward, shy kid who doesn't talk to anyone.

Thus, I say 'Thank you and happy Birthday, Ami-chan! '

I was aware yesterday that it was her birthday, but I didn't do anything to celebrate. I do appreciate her, mostly because she's so intelligent. I'm attracted to intelligence and allergic to stupidity.

I have a new appreciation and love for Ami (and am a new fangirl) I think she is the most underrated senshi and she needs some love and this thread proves it - hardly any posts .

PGSM gave me a new love for Ami because they explored more of her and didn't focus so much on the fact that she's the genius senshi. I really like that and I felt like I could really relate to her (I am not brilliant like her though; I wish ). To me, she feels the most...real. Her standout quality is her intellect, but the rest of her felt real. She's insecure but so loveable. She has big dreams and they pertain to her helping others - you don't have to be aiming to be a doctor to relate to that.

Anybody else an Ami fan?

Ami-chan is utterly adorable in some ways. I've grown to like her a lot lately so much that I cosplayed her last year!

Ami is amazing and she is one of my other favorite characters. I can also relate to her too since I have always been the shy and studious girl back when I was in school instead of being the confident and popular girl.
