As to not clog up the main informational post, I'm staking claim to Stark. This is a joint project with Harper - we were sitting on this for a while and finally decided to act :3 We don't completely have the logistics worked out (how do they transform? are there phrases?) there's obviously a lot left to discuss but we've got a good foundation and am hoping to come up with some bright ideas.

I personally think the idea has merit enough for its own RP board (a jcink or proboards) but for now, we'll just be a little GC storyline and see if it takes off

Sorry for double posting, but thought I might get the discussion started up ^^

I was thinking about how they could possibly transform... a lot of similarities with the elements occur (like Thor and thunder, for example) and maybe we could work from a scientific point of view. FOR SCIENCE! And by scientific I'm talking periodic table of the elements.

I was looking up what Cap's shield was made of and how Bruce Banner was exactly made into the Hulk and a lot of those things are more compound that just a single element.

Obviously Iron Man would be iron (Fe), maybe Thor could be thorium (Th), and Cap could be americium (Am) [the latter two are based on their names] but you get the idea.

If anyone would like to expand/has a better idea, I'm all ears!

Oh, if I had found this sooner, I would've joined then. I love the idea, and the art is fabulous (so is the entire OP).

Anyways, if Thora is anything like the actual Thor, I can't wait to fly around shooting lightning and hitting people with my hammer, haha. Oh, and brush my glorious mane as well, along with laughing at the mortals.

Actually, I should mention that I know next to nothing about the Avengers universe. I mean, I know the basics of things, but the only real experience I have with these characters is just the new Avengers movie (which I love <3).

Is that okay? xD I will definitely do research into the characters for the RP and everything, but thought it best to mention before things kick off too much hehe ^^;;

Well, we are only working from a very loose movie-verse for it all. So far, Athena and I have talked and we've come up with a few points:

- Asgard is similar to the Moon Kingdom in the Silver Millennium.
- The Tesseract is a lot like the Silver Crystal.
- It was used in the past to bring about peace; Midgard (Earth) was not part of the conflict.
- They weren't advanced then but they are becomming advanced enough to be recognized by the other realms.
- Thora is much like Sailor Moon.
- Odin is now Queen Odina and is like Queen Serenity.
- Loki would be an adopted child, a lost child of Asgard, I'm thinking something similar to Nehelenia?
- Starseeds are "unlocking" which is more or less, I suppose, like an awakening.
- In Thor, Thor talks about magic as technology - and that once a certain limit is reached, Earth will discover "magic" too.

Nobody has sailor names, they are just known by the names they have in the movie. So there's no "Sailor Captain America" thats just silly..

- Stella, Captain America, has her 'powers' all the time and just puts on the costume when heading into combat, just like Steve does in the movie.

- Toni develops her "Iron Maiden" suit and that is what gives her power - her Starseed is linked with the glowing generator in her chest.

- Bridget is the only on who has a "transformation" sequence like a typical senshi - going from mild mannered to hulking monster in a flash of lime light - I'm thinking she transforms nude at first (like The Hulk) but Toni later develops a suit that senses the nuclear energy output and attachs in a similar manner to her "Iron Maiden" gear.

- Cameron and Natasha use the codenames "Hawkeye" and "Black Widow" when in combat. Their suits are simply put on and are customized varients of the standard infantry outfits for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Stars.

- Fury, Coulson and Hill are all females. Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Stars while Coulson and Hill are her two top agents. They wear their costumes all the time - its their uniform.

For character development, maybe we have a rough plot like the Avengers, but the backstories (all except Captain's) haven't happened yet?

So this would be Thora's first visit to Earth and Loki is fighting for power; instead of just taking over the throne and exiling Thora - she is seeking the Tesseract, to have enough power to take the Kingdom from the Queen.

Stella (Cap) is just being defrosted and finding her way in the world.

Toni would be in her 20s instead of 40s - her father has just died; like her first scene could be her father's funeral. She is just developing her "Iron Maiden" gear and going through those trials.

Bridget's accident has just happened and she's yet to isolate herself or wreak havoc upon Manhattan.

I don't have a specific universe in mind, just general sailor moon concepts. I'm not typically that specific. I know the difference between Sailor Crystals and the term starseed but I use them interchangeably - they are more or less the same thing to me, it all depends on context.

I've only seen the movies myself, I am not into the comics at. all. too confusing and too deep of a universe. I also dislike the western comic art style in general. Really, we are more or less on equal ground. The little details I mention? I look up in movie wikis after I watch the movies.

So I also don't know about this universe outside of the movies, and I have never done a RP, but I might be pretty interested. Would kinds like Black Widow, but would be ok with any character.

ok so if we can I'd like to see something done with this too. I know a bunch about the Marvel verse and would love to be part of this. Maybe we can get permission to carry this on. I'd like to offer a few idea changes before we start, if no one minds. I know that before Toni can start making the iron woman suit she has to have her accident. The whole reason she makes it is cause of her escape from the accident, but that could happen at a younger age than in the movies. Anyway thats just an idea that comes from an uber comic geek. Feel free to take it or leave it. Anyway I would love to get this running.
