Physical Description: About 5' 7 inches, with an attractively slender and willowy build that belies her strength. Has pale skin with an alien grayish tint. Her hair is straight and somewhat limp but remains lustrous and silky,it is dark cerulean colored with dull blue highlights. One thick strand of slightly wavy hair is always hanging in front of her face. Tattered pale blue insect like wings spread out from her back, and despite being full of holes, they can be used for flight. Her eyes are large, and are harlequin green that fade to gold, with the pupils being dark green with a single black sit. She also has two sharp fangs in her mouth. She wears dull blue lipstick with dark green and dull pale blue eyeshadow.
Her gown consists of 3 strips of cloth winding around her bust that fade from green to dark teal. She wears a silvery metal corset. From the corset falls a layer of fabric that also fades from green to dark teal with the hem tattered with a slit in the front. Under this layer is a black satin gown that is also split in the front and pools on the ground around her. She wears 4 small chains attached to her dress that fall off the left shoulder. 3 more chains hang from her corset on the right side, going past her knees. And she has one more smaller chain wrapped three times around her right ankle. She also wears a tilted black crown with light blue orbs on top. She also walks around bare foot.
Personality: Chrysalis is very much a dark person with a dominating, sadistic side. She has watched Equestria prosper from afar, and hates every single person who lives there. Ever since she was a child and had seen the differences in her unnamed land and Equestria, she has wanted to bring every man,woman and child under her control. She rules viciously, having no problem beating her subjects for any offense no matter how minor, or even if she just feels like it. She is also very vain, loving only herself to the point there is no room in her heart for anyone else. She certainly has no qualms with using who ever she has to, to get what she wants. She could almost be called spoiled.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Chrysalis owns a mask that when she puts it on, it allows her to take on the appearance of anyone. She can also fly with her wings, somehow. She also has magical abilities in teleportation and levitation.
History: Chrysalis was born many, many years ago in an unnamed land outside of Equestria, a land of which people in Equestria are unaware of existing. Her parents died shortly after her birth, as they had tried to take over Equestria to expand their kingdom, and had been unable to defeat the young co-ruling sisters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Chrysalis was raised by her servants and subjects, but her parents blood and hate ran true in her. She grew up loving no one except herself. She only takes care of her subjects so that they may be better able to take care of her.
She stays often in her castle, where she can just see a bit of Equestria from the highest turret. But sometimes when she is bored enough, she will go to a secret room where she can view through a magic mirror at spots in Equestria. She is unable to focus what she sees in the mirror, but from what random bits she has seen, she sees only happiness and love as the years passed and the population in Equestria grew. Had she known Princess Celestia had had to seal her sister Luna in the moon, she might have attempted a strike like her parents did. But she had no way of knowing such things, and believes the two sisters watch over the land together. This is what has kept her from attempting to take over the beautiful happy land of Equestria.
Until one day, she discovered in the deepest, darkest recesses of her castle a strange mask with purple glitter and designs. The moment she touched it, the coloring changed to green markings to match her magic. She knew at that moment, this could be something useful to her and took it upstairs. She put on the mask and turned to a servant to ask how it looked, when the servant proclaimed the name of someone else in surprise. Intrigued, Chrysalis asked him who that was and was startled to hear her voice was different. The servant responded that the name he had called out was that of his fiancee. Chrysalis turned back to the mirror to take the mask off, when she realized she looked completely different. The mask had changed her appearance flawlessly! She began to grew excited as she took the mask off. She would have to see the extent of this new power, but now her plans to take over Equestria were begin to seem more achievable by the minute.
RP Sample: Queen Chrysalis stood outside the castle of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. She had seen the dark alicorn guarding the night as was her duty, though she seemed hardly older than when Chrysalis had last seen her. But that wasn't the important thing now, Luna was nothing. Her target was someone much more powerful. She slipped into the castle, her bare feet not making a sound on the marble floor. Her gown rustled gently as she stalked through the halls. She knew the lay out of castles and so knew which room to go to. She silently opened the door with a sun symbol glinting gently in the moonlight hanging on the wood. She stepped in and could see the woman laying in bed, the curtains creating a haze over her features.
Her impossibly long, flowing multicolored hair spread out over the bed, the very ends just brushing against the floor. The woman was deep asleep, and why shouldn't she be? She was well loved here and guarded all the more because of it, so she could afford to let her guard down easily. How perfect. Chrysalis raised up the mask, staring hard at the woman as she tied it on. She turned and smirked a little at her reflection. Elegant Princess Celestia smirked back and Chrysalis chuckled under her breath as she turned. Now, to take care of the real princess.
