Or here XD
The Agony of Uranus and Neptune -Their love in the Dracul Myus I apologize for using so many screencaps but Nao and Yuuka’s acting adds so much into this post
that I just couldn’t drop their amazing pics off. Also I will not go in any timeline order but rather just jump from scene
to another how I personally feel the best. These are just my opinions and feelings I get from watching the scenes
and I must say I give a HUGE credit to Nao and Yuuka for this beyond awesome job they did <3
A very sweet scene of Haruka’s love for Michiru takes place in the Transylvania no Mori and in its Kaiteban
“I rarely get the chance to listen… to her violin. Listening like
this, it makes the battles seem so unreal… if only time stopped here…”The words Haruka says here are extremely important.
Even though she had said that she’s “the soldier of battle” in the previous Myu, even her,
as toughest and strongest fighter, has her sentimental side which comes to the surface when listening to her lover’s violin.
The only one, who gets to see this side of her in its entirety and is capable of pulling it out from her heart and
deepest mind, is Michiru.
Even only her playing is so full of love and emotions that it makes Haruka to sometimes
lose her sense of their endless battle.
Haruka confessed her feelings at Hikawa shrine as listening to her lover’s music,
and that makes this scene extremely sweet and warm, and Haruka’s even a little bit wistful and caring voice is full of love.
She never gets enough from Michiru’s playing and could listen to it till the end of her life.
In the Last Dracul Neptune was turned into a vampire, for a shock of every Senshi and for the horror of Haruka.
She couldn’t believe Michiru was turned into an enemy who she was supposed to fight against with the other Sailor Senshi.
The situation threw them to face each other in the battle, standing on different sides,
one on the dark one when the other was defending the hope and fighting for the Earth.
After fighting with the other vampires it was time for Uranus and Neptune to face each otherin the worst situation
they could even imagine to occur, as enemies.
And slowly approaching Neptune, Uranus confronts her in the way she had
probably never been able to do until now. She opens up about her feelings, defeated inside
and painfully trying to swallow her tears when telling her lover how she feels and she doesn’t hold her sword to fight.
She tries to reach her companion’s mind and heart since she knows Michiru will always be the same woman she loves,
she believes her voicecan reach her heart and mind and so it does.
Uranus’ voice does reach Neptune’s heart.
Her words, sad, hopeless and loving, sweep over Neptune’s mind and heart and she cannot move but to only listen to the deep,
warm voice of her lover.
“I extend my hand… but it’s futile… When I run… you always followed…No matter how fast I ran… No matter which way I ran… You always… were by my side It must have been painful. Was it painful? But… you smiled and continued to follow me”Without Neptune alongside her, Uranus couldn’t have been able to fight like she did.
Neptune gave her all the support she ever could and that was much more than enough for Uranus,
and also at the same moment the only thing that kept her faith and aim in the future.
Uranus’ words were full of respect for her lover when her lips were ableto form them, despite the tears
she was holding back when speaking, at the same time trying to keep herself calm and her body stable.
She didn’t want her lover to feel pain when following her - that was the very last thing in the world she wanted Neptune to feel.
Her words show that she couldn’t believe what had happened despite she was fully aware
of the moments of despair she was facing right now.
“I understood!Even though you shouldn’t have been able to keep up with my speed… you kept smilingThat’s why I… couldn’t say anything”When Uranus told Neptune that despite understanding everything she couldn’t say anything to her, she breaks down.
She cannot keep her cry silent any longer. She had silently kept her pace and continued running having Neptune along her.
She knew she was the only one who could protect Neptune and she had the greatest respect for her,
Michiru always kept smiling and her gentle smile encouraged and supported her as she stayed on her side
despite the path she chose and despite the decisions she made.
Without Michiru, Haruka wouldn’t have been able to run like she did, not without her presence.
She protected her but when they happened to step on the wrong path it hurt her more to see Michiru in pain than
to feel the burning ache of her own wounds.
Whatever she would face with her, Haruka wanted to be the one who protected Michiru.
“You are the beautiful soldier of smiles with the ocean in her eyes… but… I am the soldier of fightI couldn’t say… Thank you”What Haruka says about Michiru and about her smile, she says with sad smile.
Inside and outside, Michiru is beautiful from everywhere. Her smile gives Haruka hope and she listens to Haruka’s warm words,
feeling her love and devotion. Haruka’s mission is to fight since she’s the soldier of fight…
And at the same time her voice has a wistful and unsure tone; she doesn’t believe this is the reality.
Is she truly facing her lover to wish her goodbye and to fight against her?
It’s hard for her to talk anymore as she can’t take it much longer but she still has to say the most important thing to her lover.
She forces the words to leave her lips as she extends her sword to fight against her lover.
Is she truly going to attack her? Then Sailor Moon steps between Uranus and Neptune and asks why the enemies are doing this.
Uranus and Neptune just watch each other all their emotions storming their eyes.
Love cannot be swept away.
And when the curse is lifted a moment later, Neptune collapses to the ground and Uranus is there with her when she wakes up.
In Transylvania no Mori Uranus faces Vampiru and her comrades alone. She had seen what happened to Neptune,
Mamoru, Mars and Jupiter and even hears that Vampiru has use for her and still, she decides to fight alone.
And not only because she’s a Sailor Senshi…
“I’ll take my revenge for Neptune here and now!”…but for the sake of her lover. She wants to take revenge of what all the vampires had done to her partner,
she saw the pain Neptune suffered from and she wants all their enemies to pay for what they have done.
Uranus won’t forget what they did and she will fight to take the revenge for her lover, even alone and even when she knows
that she is the target of Vampiru. The gaze in her eyes tells everything she thinks about;
she won’t forgive what the enemies have done to her beloved or to this world and she won’t allow the cruelty
what they have caused. And when she fights against her enemies, Vampiru gets the chance to bite her.
Later, after Haruka, as well as Rei and Makoto, have gotten bitten by Vampiru,
Haruka tells Usagi something what nobody wouldn’t want to think about, especially not when they all remember
what happened when Dracul bit Michiru (and Mamoru).
Haruka tells Usagi to get rid of her if she began to act strangely and Michiru can only listen to her lover’s words
under her smile and try to hide her worries and sadness.
“If anything starts to happen to me, I want you to get rid of me, before Michiru knows”She doesn’t want Michiru to see her as a vampire;
the last thing Haruka would want was Michiru to get in danger because of her.
She’d rather die than to let Michiru in the danger she had been in or to let her see herself fighting against the Sailor Senshi.
And she knows that she will turn into a vampire soon.
She knows it and still she smiles at Michiru, trying to make her feel better in her own way,
still convincing her that what she is scared of, losing Haruka, won’t become the reality.
Haruka was the one who said that Michiru is the senshi of smiles, but in the reality she is trying
to make her lovefeel better by smiling.
I believe they have taught each other to smile and to show their feelings since they were both alone before meeting each other.
Haruka doesn’t want to see Michiru in grief, just like Michiru doesn’t want see Haruka in it, so she wants Michiru to see her smiling.
The smile she only gives to her lover is special – it’s full of love and warmth.
And that smile makes this scene even sadder.
When Uranus turns into a vampire in both Myus, TNM and its Kaiteban, Neptune tries to rush to her and cries her name in horror.
Her voice is filled with fear since she knows what will happen to her beloved now and she wants to prevent it with all she has.
But the despair in her tone makes it clear; she knows that she cannot do anything
and still she cannot help herself but to cry out for her lover’s name and watch when her real self falls asleep
and she stands on the side of their enemies with the two other senshi.
What she had been afraid of all the time and what had happened to her earlier, now happened to her lover.
TNM Kaiteban“Your attack… I’ll accept all of it! It’s because I’m not strong… so I cannot fight youYou… no matter how fast you run…you’ll never shake me offit’s because I understand… we… we’ll always run together”Neptune’s painful words don’t leave anything unclear; she’s broken and will accept her lover’s attacks because in the end
Michiru knows that Haruka is still the same person inside and that if she will fight her, it’s against her own will.
But she hopes Haruka to awaken from the nightmare and she’ll follow her everywhere.
She knows they won’t get separated from each other, they’ll run together till the final end and they won’t shake each other off
because they trust each other and live together like halves of one another, making one person when together.
They would both be broken if they fought alone…
“It’s not painful, you’re the soldier of fight but… turn around…turn around now Uranus…It’s me! It’s me…!”Neptune isn’t hurt when she runs with Uranus, if she just has her lover beside her it doesn’t matter how fast she’d run since
the speed wouldn’t harm her.
When she shares the path with the Senshi of the Wind she doesn’t know what the meaning of the word ‘pain’ is since she
runs together with her beloved but if she ran alone she’d be hurt and she couldn’t keep the pace she has when Uranus supports her.
Neptune’s cry is painful and it’s overflowing from despair.
Her eyes tell Uranus that she doesn’t believe she has changed from the curse; she wants to see her face,
just to gaze in her eyes and cure her somehow.
But she can’t do it alone and she shows that her faith for her beloved hasn’t changed.
All she needs to have enough strength right now is to have Uranus’ eyes gazing at her like they have always been.
From the TNM“Will you aim all of your attacks towards me? I decided this from the start,
I’m not as strong as you are, but…
I can’t fight like you do”Neptune’s warm voice has a light of hope, she won’t believe she has lost her lover for the curse and
Uranus doesn’t attack her but listens to her words and closes her eyes.
She feels her lover’s emotions even though she’s under a curse and the Sea Senshi’s soft voice reaches her mind.
She stands there listening to the gentle waves of words as Neptune speaks to her with the love Haruka has made her to feel,
with the love only they share. Even though Neptune says she cannot fight like Uranus,
her power complements Uranus’ and neither of them would be themselves alone.
“It’s okay if you don’t remember me. Or anything about us. But if it means fighting you, I’d rather not live. In the end, let’s run through our dreams together.
Okay?”She’s ready to give up all their memories, all they had and what they had shared supporting each other
and sharing their lives with one another
, as long as she knows Uranus is safe and that she doesn’t have to fight her.
But she couldn’t live if they had to be enemies and if they had to fight one another… if they were enemies,
in the end they had to kill each other to fight for their side…
Neptune knows Uranus is still the same person inside, even under a curse she can hear her voice.
Uranus listens to her lover’s voice tears in her eyes.
Neptune approaches Uranus, and when asking for Uranus to run through their dreams together she tells her
that it’s not painful to run with her, but that rushing through their paths together in the same pace
is what she loves and wishes for the most.
Neptune gently picks Uranus’ sword from the ground, where it fell when Uranus became a vampire,
while having her gaze on it and she carefully hands it back to her lover.
Her action shows how deeply she loves and trusts her lover and Uranus doesn’t attack her
even though she’s on the enemy’s side right now.
Before Uranus can answer to Neptune she’s commanded to attack the other Sailor Senshi
and when firing her attack towards Pluto she receives her Death Scream.
Neptune screams Uranus’ name in pain and Uranus falls to the ground with the two other senshi and gazes at Neptune
“I’m sorry”Those are the last words Uranus gives to Neptune, still trying to smile at her and then closing her eyes.
She is gone.
Michiru’s scream is pure grief which fills with tides of sadness and agony.
No words are needed - her beloved is gone and her world has been burnt alive.
She has lost the most important in her whole life and die for sorrow.
Her scream cannot even be described in its entirety with words.
This was so harsh to write, all the sad and devastating feels ;__;And the Finale - I think this quote doesn’t need any kind of description
From Last Dracul when Michiru wakes up after the curse is lifted
Michiru -
‘The bad dream…’Haruka - ‘
we’ll run from it together!’So Together, Forever <3
Thank you dearies
