My first anime were, in addition to the films of Studio Ghibli, Code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. Then, at that time, I had started Sailor Moon, but the silliness initially caused me to pause the series some episodes in, which is something I am somewhat embarrassed about now  .
On Sailor Moon
I don't really remember why I decided to read the manga, but I was surprised that I ended up being so enamoured with the series after pretty much almost forgetting about it the three years before. Maybe the cheerful, lighthearted tone appealed to me while I was in a bit of melancholy, or maybe because I have come to like the kind of sentimental, yet relatable; that Usagi has much of that optimism of the will may also have been one part. The fan-works potential is another nice part of Sailor Moon that I really like.
To say that Sailor Moon is my favorite series would be forgetting the other series that I have also really enjoyed, but I would definitely include it together as one that is significant to me.  Let's all give a warm congratulations! ^.^ |
