I would, but I don't want two water types and I wanna change it up ^^ sometimes I do. Usually for Pokemon games, I have a set starter I always choose for each generation.

White2 for me, I have Black1 so it makes sense in my head xD

I love Oshawott too! But Snivy is quite pretty :3

That's what made me decide on Snivy too -- the fact that it's not a bad looking pokemon. XD

Each generation I pick fire, but I don't like the fact in gen 5 we have another fire/fighting starer. It was awesome for gen 3, but not for gen 4 and 5. So for gen 5 I picked water. In the past I did have one game where I pick the grass starter from gen 2. It was nice pick actually.

My starters aaaare...

1st gen: Squirtle
2nd gen: Cyndaquil
3rd gen: Torchic
4th gen: *rattles brain* a toss up between Turtwig and Piplup
5th: Oshawott and now Snivy

I'm probably horrible to say I pick my starters based on what they look like in their final form. I don't want a fire beard-y pig wrestler, so no Tepig for me. x.x (as an example)

Tepig's final form is another reason I didn't pick it. :/ It could have looked better.

I originally picked Tepig when I first started the game. When I did some searching to see what it would look like in its finally form.... I restarted hahah

I am pretty superficial with my pokemon, I like them to be cute or pretty or interesting, and I also like them to have different personalities and stuff.

I also tend to hate switching one pokemon that I've had since the beginning in game, in favor for a technically stronger one xD

And, if it is available, I always always always always have an Oddish in my team. Because I love him (Same with Dragonite usually too xD They're my two bestest favorite cuties <3)

I didnt preorder. Im just going to get it tomorrow. I have a lot of tests this week, but I play it for one hour and then it's straight to the books!

It's technically now the 7th, I have it Pre-Ordered, and I'm ready to go get it!

I have mine pre-ordered too, but tests man. Tests. Cause 1 hour wouldn't be enough. So I plan on getting my White 2 on Thursday

I know they say that the Pre-Order has a time limit, besides the fact that I'm impatient, so I'm getting it ASAP.

I'm still undecided on which starter to pick. I've already had Snivy previously which makes it boring to get again. Out of all the types of Pokemon, the most types are Water which makes me hesitant on Oshawott. Then there's Tepig who doesn't interest me at all and everybody always wants the Fire type.

Damn my indecisiveness.

I started with Oshawott last time and am gonna do Snivy this time because I have a Keldeo now XD

So they still have a tutorial for the pokemon center. -_- Oh well at least you didn't have to here the explanation about what the pokedex is.

I got the game already and I'm in love with it. I decided on Oshawott.

My team at the moment consists of Oshawott, Mareep, Riolu, and Pidove.

We apparently can get Eevee later in the game, which is going to be an Espeon for me.

Also, real quick. I chose to be the girl and picked out the name Usagi for myself for the obvious reasons of her hair. Then, because I can, I named my rival Mamoru.

I wish I had a gen5 game... I'd pick Tepig for sure.

I named my girl Lily because I always name the girl player that. I name my rival Blaze because it was the first thing that came to my mind.

So far have a Mareep and Oshawott. Both are about level ten and I haven't even gotten to the first gym! 0.o they really want your pokemon to be strong.

I was so annoyed they showed me how to catch a pokemon. -_- gamefreak needs to remember that people from gen 1 are still playing the games.

I'm training all my Pokemon to be on level 13, which I don't mind. I'd rather be farther back in the game than everyone else because I'm a perfectionist.

I'm not up to the first Gym yet as well, but I'd rather know I can whoop Cheren's butt without worrying about it.

same here! I just caught a Riolu! I'm going to train him to beat cheren's normal pokemon. I kind of wish he was at a different gym to prove how strong he is....

I wish that as well, Yami. Oh well.

Also, I plan to obnoxiously update all of you when interesting things happen and will periodically tell you about my team of Pokemon.

I gave in to peer pressure and got the game >.> I haven't opened it yet, but I'm excited. I've already created the Pokemon team I'm gonna have. Here's what it will be one day

Serperior, Ampharos, Keldeo, Gardevoir, Flygon, andddd... Ninetails! Unless I need to get a different fire Pokemon...but yeah

And I was totally thinking of naming my girl Usagi!

I'm really glad that in this game they don't have Pokemon all up in your face every second you're in the grass. That always drove me nuts.
