Ahem... Small Lady and I have been discussing "Song Dedication Threads" similar to the Character Dedication Threads. (Except for Songs!) This will be a new biweekly (twice a week, not every two weeks) activity for people to discuss perhaps:

: different versions
: different covers
: meaning of song lyrics
: music genre
: why you love this song
: why you don't love this song
: say "oh my gooooood i remember that song!"
: amvs etcetera

Member participation would be helpful of course and the songs will be taken from the anime, PGSM and the musicals. Perhaps in the future we can discuss BGM and foreign music but for now this will exclusively discuss the original Japanese songs.

I will be kicking this off with none other than Moonlight Densetsu and don't be scared to try making a thread for a song you've never heard. You might just find you have a new favourite! Some songs will be combined...

Aw, I would love to! Only with school and my Admin duties, I do not think that I would ever have the time to write up a thread and give it the proper attention and dedication that these songs deserve. :/

May I suggest that you make it an even rotation of pgsm-myu-anime though?

I don't think so. sorry. There's only about 20 pgsm songs... about 40 anime songs and about 150 myu songs... that's not going to work out X3

Sorry... Myu's going to have to come up more than the others until the numbers even out... but its okay, alot of the myu songs tend to have more substance the anime ones... and especially the pgsm songs

I can't wait until some one does You're My Jewelry. My gosh, I was so in love with that song when I was younger. I did not realize that it was from Myu and I remember being so confused when I could not find it in the anime. I had no knowledge of the musicals back then!

OH I definitely want "Rashiku" Ikimasho and I'm about to watch a new Myu (new for me) tonight so once I watch it, I think I'll pick a Myu song as well.

Also, maybe you should mention which musical the song is from? That way if the person wants to watch the musical with the song in it, they know which one to watch.

Small Lady, may I ask how you are randomizing your characters? I actually just pulled them out of my own will this time XD

Oh, everything is numbered. Then I use a random number generator and it generates them at random. Though seeing there are so many Myu songs, you may have to purposefully put in a song from the anime and PGSM so its not all Myu.

Could I suggest posting Anime Lyrics.com as a source in the original post? It has almost every song from Sailor Moon on it, with lyrics in Japanese and translated to English on quite a few songs. Some even have videos with them.
