Advanced Character Profile

Character Name: Kinka Hagane (Directly Translated to "Silver Sword Metal")
Gender: Female
Age and Date of Birth: 15, January 17th in the Tekkou year 45.

Used Canons: World Building

Appearance: Kinka is incredibly pale, so pale that she can easily be mistaken for being ill. She has dark brown eyes and short platinum-blonde hair kept in a pixie cut. She's fairly thin and lanky as well-which doesn't help her pale complexion much. Kinka is roughly 5 feet 2 inches tall and her everyday wear is mostly a thick, dirty-white hoodie with the hood pulled and dark grey sweatpants. She can often be seen around town with her aluminium baseball bat strapped to her back and a somewhat large denim messenger bag.
Kinka has a few changes of clothing, but not too many as she and her sisters are of rather low-income. All her clothing is easy to move in and comfortable, with little attention paid to actual aesthetics. Kinka would rather blend into the background, so she doesn't wear anything that would draw attention to herself. She wears no jewelry and no makeup, and always wears sneakers or flat shoes because they're easy to run in.

Personality: Kinka Hagane is a strange girl. She is a girl of few words, and speaks of herself and everyone else in the third person. Kinka takes no care in her appearance-though she's certainly not unattractive. Her facial features and tone of voice hardly change to reflect the emotions she's feeling at the time, making her seem incredibly distant and cold and incredibly hard to read unless she announces her intentions. She is somewhat of a loner-though this isn't by choice in any means-and she has a difficult time making friends because of her outward appearance and how aloof she seems. If she isn't seen with her sisters-which is the only time she socializes, she's spends her time going to the local park to practice baseball by herself, hitting the ball and having it bounce back to her for her to strike again.

It's not that she doesn't feel anything, she just doesn't know how to express it, and often has her actions speak for her. Because of this, there are many misinterpretations and confusion about her thoughts and true intent-especially from those who don't know her. People becoming argumentative around her is normal, due to the sheer lack of communication they receive from her. Kinka is very perceptive and observant, and can easily tell when people are being dishonest-a trait she despises. Perhaps this comes from being the youngest of three siblings, though they aren't related by blood. Her two sisters are the only two she can say she's truly close with, and she is often put in the position of being their protector whenever they end up in any kind of trouble.

However, due to her past and rather protective nature, she is rather intense and rash. She has a bit of a Hit first, ask questions never sort of policy-and her outward appearance and how odd her complexion is doesn't help matters. Once you get on Kinka's bad side, you're likely to stay there forever. Because of her history, she is naturally suspicious of people who are friendly toward her and her siblings, and it takes a while to gain her trust. However, like her bad side, once you become friends with her-you've got a friend for life who can and will take a bullet for you. She's incredibly brave, and wouldn't hesitate do jump into danger if it meant protecting those she cared about. On that note, her siblings have been trying to get her to be less intense and less willing to jump into danger for their sakes, but so far it has been unsuccessful.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Kinka has good hand-eye coordination and a good amount of coordination and upper body strength due to how often she practices baseball at the park. Kinka is also ambidextrous, which means she doesn't have a dominant hand, and can work with both her left and right hands to do fine motor skills. Due to this, she often finds herself being the fix-it-girl for those that know her. She can repair most things-as long as programming and science isn't involved-though she'd love to go to school to learn how to code. While it is unspoken, she-along with her two siblings-are pretty pain-tolerant as well due to the circumstances of their past.

History: Kinka is the youngest of three siblings, the middle sibling is Tinka and the oldest is Ginka. The three of them aren't related by blood, but the fact that they each found each other and formed a family of their own to make up for what they lacked is close to Kinka's heart. Each of them were orphans, and the three have been living together for close to seven years. They've witnessed much of the darkness in people's hearts as the remains of Chaos that had taken hold of the planet all those decades ago. Kinka isn't entirely aware of her sisters' pasts, but would never push it out of them. Unfortunately for Kinka, she remembers everything. Her parents were killed in one of the poorer sections of the city. She doesn't know if it was a robbery gone wrong or a cold-blooded murder, but she's aware the only reason she's alive is because her parents fought them off long enough for their child to escape. She would spend most of her time hiding around the ruins of buildings, becoming a petty thief in order to grab the food necessary for survival. This is how she'd meet her sisters, and they formed their own family and stuck together through thick and thin. Ginka has a small job working at a small and local grocery store, and Tinka does odd jobs fixing computers-though Tinka is having a difficult time as of late getting jobs due to how frequently technology updates. Kinka spends time walking her sisters to and from every job with her baseball bat to protect them as they go about their jobs, and spends time at the park-or rather, what could be called one-until she get's the call on her phone to escort her sisters back home. The trio have lost count of how many fights Kinka has gotten into to protect them, and also how many times Kinka has gotten hurt in their defense.

Other Noteworthy Facts: Kinka's star sign is Capricorn and her blood type is O-. She love to go to school, but she's afraid to leave her sisters if the military or academy would require it of her. She carries a wide array of tools and other items in her messenger bag-bandages, water, granola, an all-in-one utility tool, and an extra set of clothing. This is because she is always ready to leave with her sisters from their current place of occupation if things get dangerous. Her sisters do the same thing, but have smaller bags. Kinka, the proactive and protective person that she is, has the biggest bag with the most items. Due to her upbringing in the more ruined parts of the city, she's fairly nimble and can maneuver through crowded spaces with ease.

Senshi Information

Senshi Name: Sailor Megellan
Realm(s) of Influence: Metallurgy
Henshin/Transformation Phrase: Magellian Matrix, Activate!
Senshi Fuku: [Advanced] Faux-Senshi: Sailor Megellan Alchem12 Her symbol is the alchemy symbol for the metal called Antimony. It is represented as a cross with a curvy U shaped curve at the top of it, with a clear circle at the top and solid circles on the remaining three points of the cross in shades of silver or grey. source for info + image
senshi fuku options 1 and 2 (to be decided):
Powers: Metal manipulation, can bend the locks of doors, can mold pipes into different shapes/weapons, can manipulate metal chains or other such items to build barriers or as brute force objects, can also bend these items to break or be useless. This manipulation can unscrew screws and bolts from any surface, and can sometimes manipulate the metal parts of various infrastructures such as metal beams or metal plating. The thinner the metal, the better, as it takes a bit more force to bend thicker heavier metals. The stronger Kinka gets, the easier this metal manipulation gets, the longer the manipulation holds, and she is able to work with stronger metals and the radius for control widens. The amount of metal that can be controlled at a time increases as well.

Weapons or Magical Items:

  • L.U.N.A. Megellan Pager- a modified, fingerprint scanning pager that resonates with the copper bracelet in order for Kinka to transform.

  • Copper bracelet-a thick copper bracelet with a small, silver gem in the center of it worn on her right wrist. It isn't made of a chain, but medium-thick cuff that is molded as though it is crafted of braided wicker. Aside from the gemstone, it is fairly plain and has a rough weathered look to it.

  • Aluminum Baseball Bat-not magical in any sense, but she can make it change into different weapon shapes once she transforms.

RP Sample:
"So then I told him, listen bud, you either take it or leave it."
"Bwa-haha! That's it! You tell em!"
Kinka was walking her sisters home. Hearing her sisters' laughter as they told stories about their day was like music to her ears; and there was far less trouble this evening then other evenings. They only ran into one would-be heckler, and all it took was an intimidating stare from Kinka to send the guy running terrified. She would have chased after him for the things he said, but her sisters managed to keep her by their sides.
A sudden cry from behind her got all of Kinka's senses on alert. Her hand rested on the handle of the baseball bat she always kept with her before Tinka, the middle child, raised her hands up in reassurance.
"Nonononononono, it's okay! I just tripped!"
Kinka felt her body relax as Ginka, the oldest, helped Tinka up.
"There ya go. Any blood? You never know what's in these streets nowadays."
"No, I don't think so-ouch!"
The second Tinka winced, Kinka was right by her side, a bandage withdrawn from her bag. Ginka laughed.
"That's our sis! Always prepared for anything! Ok, hold still, T. This might sting a little."
As one of her sister's was bandaging the other, Kinka stared up into the night sky. She could see more stars then usual this evening. It was a pleasant change, and each star she saw seemed exceptionally pretty.
Especially that really big bright star right above them. Kinka narrowed her eyes-was it glowing a different color? it looked darker, almost. Like a grey hue. But that was probably the evening smog.
"Okay! Done!" Kinka's attention was re-directed to her sisters. The bandaging was finished, and the two were up and laughing again.
"You shoulda seen the look on your face when you fell though!"
"Oh, c'mon, Ginka!"
"But it was priceless!"
That's when Kinka noticed the trail this star was leaving. Last she checked, stars didn't move. Especially grey ones. And it was coming closer to them, and fast. Kinka stopped walking, feeling the two of them bump into her and utter cries of surprise at her abrupt halt. It was increasing speed now, barring down right at them.
"Look out!" Kinka shoved the two of them down as she noticed it was actually quite tiny, the size of a pebble. And it shot right into her. She gave a cry of surprise as she fell backwards on top of them.
"Holy crap!"
"Kinka? KINKA! Are you okay?"
Kinka immediately sat up and began to check herself for injuries as her sisters stood over her, exchanging glances as they helped her up.
"Light." Kinka's eyes were wide with panic. "Where?" She continued checking her clothing, spinning around to check her back in an almost comedic fashion.
"Are you okay?"
"Why'd you shove us down like that?"
"What are you talking about, lil sis? What light?"
Kinka froze in place, looking deep into the concerned faces of her sisters. Did they...really not see anything?
****
The next few days were full of nothing but absolute misery. She wasn't sleeping well at night-she always had strange dreams she was in an odd outfit with a lots of lights all around her-and whenever she'd awaken, it felt like she just ran a marathon. Her head pounded with every footstep she took as she continued to escort her sisters to and from their jobs. Each night her sensations grew worse, and her sisters took notice. They'd insist to stay home from work or go to their jobs themselves, but Kinka would deny them each time and escort them anyways, gradually feeling more and more alert as time went on. It was as though something was looking at her over her shoulder, and therefor her sister's shoulders, since they were always with her. They'd caught her checking their backs more then once, and tried to reassure her that nothing was there-that the accident near the wall was too far away from their section-but nothing worked.
Which is how it lead to this. Two girls shoving another girl into the entrance of Iron Tokyo General hospital. They were straining their voices as they tried not to fall under Kinka, who had gone dead-weight in protest.
"it's for your own good!"
"You've been feeling sick for days!'
Kinka shook her head stubbornly. "Kinka isn't sick."
"Yes you are! Ugggh. Come....ON! Get...in there!"
Kinka locked her knees. "No."
"Oh for the love of-Kinka! It's clear you haven't been feeling well, you've been acting all weird! Please go in?"
"Yeah. Pleeeeease? Pretty please? For us?"
Kinka stared at them and relented. She relaxed her posture. "But what about Tinka and Ginka?"
"Oh, us? We'll be fine!"
"I already took a few days off."
"And I've got a friend who's gonna walk with me. Just focus on getting better, okay?"
Kinka hesitated before nodding. "Kinka will get better." There were hugs passed around, and Kinka watched anxiously as the two hired a cab to take them back home.
She already had visions of them getting into a horrible accident without her.
