| ...the Sailor Moon counterparts.
I'm talking about Minako's Sailor V friends, Hikaru Sorano and Gurikazu Amano. Clearly they were the early inspirations for Ami and Umino. I'm wondering, if these characters were in color, do you think they would perfectly resemble their Sailor Moon counterparts, or do you think there would be some variations? |

| I think that Hikaru and Ami would be similar, but maybe not the exact same shade of hair colour or eye colour.
I think Amano and Umino would have similar coloration, but that their proportions would be just slightly different. Like one would have a wider face and perkier hair.
I think there was enough evolution in Naoko's style that the differences could be emphasized to avoid carbon copies. |

As for Hikaru, I always pictured her like Usagi's early friends in the anime who are meant to look very normal, with black hair and brown eyes. The haircut is feminine but mature - an offset to Minako's character, as Ami is similarly an offset to Usagi. I find it quite funny that the Moon Princess and her double have twin friends as well XD. |

| Well, we have a coloured version of Hikaru and Amano here!^^
They are very similar to their SM counterparts, but I think Hikaru's tones are darker while Amano's hair colour is near to Umino's, who seems to be more blond in the manga according to this artbook picture |

| DERP!!! How did I forget about that image when it's where my avatar is cropped from X''''D. #FAILOh and Amano was blonde! Actually it looks like Umino was as well! *mind blown* I've seen these images before of course but I think the anime image of him overtook my memory ^^;;;. |

| If you read other works of hers-especially "Miss Rain-" the protagonist looks EXACTLY like Hikaru and Ami. It seems like she has a bit of "same face" syndrome, at least when it comes to those two character styles, anyways. |
