| You open the door to find a long, dark hallway that smells... peculiar... At the end of the hall is a light. Curious, you take a step in, and slowly walk down the long hallway. The smell clarifies in your nose: Peppermint! Mmmm, what kind of delightful place is this?You emerge from the tunnel to find your appearance altered, and... wait a second... your mind goes fuzzy; who... where are... wait. You've always lived here. Here. At the NORTH POLE! WELCOME TO CLUE! CHRISTMAS EDITION Notes: 1. Clue! is an active game where people need to check in and catch up at least once every 24 hours. Inactive players will be KO through their own devices in innocent ways (catching the flu). 2. Clue! is similar to mafia, but told through roleplaying: - Quote :
- Clue is run like a game of Mafia; a percentage of players are evil and are trying to knock out all the other players. During day phases, all characters discuss whom they think might be guilty, and can choose to knock a character out. Under special circumstances, they can also search for clues to who is good and who has turned evil in an attempt to figure out who they should knock out before it's too late! They can share their discoveries or keep them to themselves, or write it all down in their diary (diaries are hidden throughout the map and can be moved by their creators, and found and read by people looking for clues!). At night or when the power cuts out, the brainwashed characters strike, and can knock out another player, even as everyone is searching for clues to who is evil!
As such, roleplaying is expected (relaxed posts are fine). You take on the persona of your assigned roll (mafia members are inherently good actors) and work with assigned relations to find the evil guys. New roleplayers are welcome! 3. Clue! this round will be a little different. I'll assign roles, names, motives, and relationships, players will be responsible for creating personalities, histories, and appearances. I will provide the clues for the first KO, but from then on, the mafia-roles will decide whom, how, where and what they left behind when their victim is knocked out. Sign-Ups are open now, and will close Wednesday, December 17th. Be prepared for at least one week of activity -- I know it's through Christmas, so I'm telling you guys now to prepare you.
