Nice!! There's a good chance I'll go to these! One of my friends in town is watching Sailor Moon but has yet to see any of the movies; since this is when we'll both be home, I can probably drag him out to them! Now to hope its actually in theaters near me

Which theaters is it going to be in? Has a list been posted yet? I'm totally gonna try to check out supers, if it ends up in my area! I know for a fact that my sister would want to go too-the supers movie was always her favorite of the three!

Awesome news! Looks like they haven't posted a list of theaters yet, but the R movie came to a local theater of mine when it was showing a year or so ago so hopefully this will as well. I will be out of the country when they show the S movie, but hopefully I can go to the SuperS showing!

I guess this means they'll be out on DVD soon!

Hmmmm, tempting! It was fun seeing R on the big screen.

I *really* regretted missing R!! I will definitely line up some childcare this time so I can make it.

Bumping, since the first screenings are coming up in under two weeks - July 28th for the dub and July 30th for the sub!!

It'll be interesting to find out how well the ticket sales go for each of these versions...

I sadly did not get my wish for a Canadian leg of it (yet!).

Who here is going?

I'm gonna see if I can't drag my sister to the new dubbed version of the supers movie in august. It's surprisingly showing in not one, not two, but THREE movie theaters super-close to home! I'm pretty excited! 

I'm definitely going to go! Trying to get my friend Mark to come with (he's watching Sailor Moon right now--currently on SuperS and hasn't seen any of the movies yet!). Both of us would prefer to see the sub, but might end up going to the dubs instead due to convenience, since he's doing summer classes and I'm going to have work at 7am the mornings after.

A question though!! I want to make sure I'm interpreting this correctly... R & S are being done as a double feature? It's being advertised as the S movie, but also mentions an encore showing of the R movie. I was wondering if that's an encore from the previous time, and they'll be showing R and then S, or if the R movie is the encore to the S movie, meaning they would show S and then R...

I can't wait for the DVDs!!!!!! I'm not sure if the movies will be featured in our cinemas though.

Totally bought my tickets this weekend cause they are actually showing it in Louisiana this time around. Yaaaay! XD

I'm pretty sure it's the S movie first, then R movie. That's what the description makes it sound like. This is, after all, for the upcoming release of the S and SuperS movies.

I am going to the cinema with one of my best friends to see the Sailor Moon Movies and the both of us are really happy that the cinema we are going to will be showing all three of the movies.

I'm shocked it's going to be playing so close to me in CA (Ontario Mills). I'm definitely going to make my bf go lol. He's a casual fan. If I'm watching it, he gets into it.

Hi everyone! Just came from watching both movies back to back in the theaters! The atmosphere was electric and I loved seeing all the different people there with their outfits and merchandise. And also they gave free posters with every ticket!

Has anyone gone to the movies to see them? I definitely liked Sailor Moon S better. I cry everytime I see the movie or read the manga!

I am so glad you shared this, because I had NO IDEA and there is a Regal theatre literally 10 minutes from my house! I unfortunately missed the dates for the R and S movies, but they're doing SuperS on August 4th and 8th, so I'm definitely going to one of those!

The energy in the theater is exactly why I wish they were playing it here!! Alas... I'm glad some of you got to experience it at least ^^.

While I missed S&R, I was able to go to the SuperS dub showing this weekend with my friend! He's watching the 90s anime for the first time and he binge-finished the rest of SuperS the night before lol.

Unfortunately, there was horrible traffic on the interstate on the way there, so despite leaving with 50 extra minutes to play with, we still ended up around 10 minutes late, missing the previews and the first half of Ami's first love.

The movie was amazing, though! While I initially wanted to see the sub, we had to go to the dub because work, and I was actually really glad we did! It was my first time hearing the new dub's outers, and they were great! Also, Banane's voice was hilarious and perfect. Any time he spoke was a blessing.

My favorite part by far, though, was the little girl sitting behind us. She was really into it, and when

, she said "but she was my favorite!" in the most distressed little voice and I almost cried.

LMAO!! I had something like that during the R movie. It's at the very end of the Moon Revenge sequence and I hear this kid go "oh no" in the most serious voice. It took my everything to not bust out laughing cause it was just so cute.

Also totally gotta eat my words from my last post cause it ended up being R movie then S movie. Way to fool us advertising! XD
