| Think the US is all about cities and suburbs? Well think again. The US has a wide variety of absolutely beautiful landscapes--from deserts to mountains to rivers and swamps. Below is 5 absolutely stunning places to visit. They are in no particular order and picked at random from various travel sites I researched. Everyone, feel free to add to the list with places you recommend below! I know this list is short in comparison to the hundreds and thousands of places to see in the US. Also, if you’ve been to any of these destinations, tell us about your experience and post pictures if you have them! Denali National Park & Preserve, Alaska- Spoiler:

Perfect place for a summer camping trip!

With the South Rim open year round and the North Rim from mid-May to mid-October, there is something to do any time of year. Sightseeing via rafting, hiking, running and helicopter are popular. - Quote :
- As if the park wasn’t well known before, as of May 2018, surely everyone was well aware of Hawai’i Volcanooes National Park, as the Kilauea volcano erupted causing millions of US dollars in damage and destroying over 700 homes. While the thread of eruptions are something to defintely be caution of, this park is quite possibly one of the most surreal places in the U.S. Located on Hawaii’s big island, this park allows you to visit one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Visitors can gather together as the sun sets at the Jaggar museum and overlook to watch as the lava's orange glow begins to appear in the darkness. During the day, tour the park by car or on foot for views ranging from moonlike desert to lush rainforest.
The park has reopened as of September 22nd, 2018. You can learn more about conditions and recovery process on the National Park Service website.

I wanna go to the Yosemite one in my state California, but I been to Kings Canyon/Sequoia and Joshua Tree NPs closer to me in my life. |

| I’m sad to admit I’ve never been to any of these. Though I’d love to see the Grand Canyon. |
