Just recently, I stumbled upon Design Doll by Terrawell. It's a free program that allows you to pose and modify the body of a 3D model to your liking. It's insanely customizable! The default model is female, but you can change her into a male with the morphing and blending options. I've had so much fun using the program's features the past few days to doodle quick character sketches!

Some of the program's features include:
1. The ability to pose the model's hands and feet! The program also comes with a built-in library of already posed hands if you don't feel like doing it yourself.

2. The ability to choose where the light source is coming from
3. Grid lines for perspective drawing; This is great when you want to pose more than one model for a scene!
4. The ability to simplify models into wire frames

5. The ability to modify the body proportions and height of the model to create super-deformed characters, anime characters, or even realistic humans!
6. The ability to change the color palette of the model
7. The ability to blend multiple body types together to create a unique person. XD This also gives you the ability to create and pose plus-sized models!
8. The ability to save snapshots of your model as .bmp
9. The ability to see how many head sizes tall your model is
10. A camera and zoom feature that allows you to view the model from every angle

NOTE: There is also a $79 dollar version of the program, but the only difference is that it allows you to open/save your models in the program's file format and it allows you to download/share pre-posed models on the Doll Atelier website.

Forgot to post that I downloaded it and played with it. It's pretty fun to just mess with the settings and dolls. xD This will def come in use in the future tho. I love the detailing on the hands and feet!
