She is intensely interested in being a detective, and oftentimes gets her nose stuck in situations she has no right to be in as a 15-year-old, but if they're not going to get to the bottom of this, she will! 

She made a few devices to help her along - her spectroscopic analysis magnifying glass, her blood-type-test kit, and her older sister made her metallic wings to get her out of tricky situations. ...they're still a prototype though, and tend to malfunction at the worst time... 

Bernice has yet to transform into Sailor Baretta, but when she does it will need to be in a very tight situation indeed...

History: Elain was raised in a very secluded environment. Her parents were not very fond of the city atmosphere, so they bought a cozy cabin on the edge of town that was surrounded by woods. Elain grew up in these woods, her only friends being with the animals. When she turned 17, her life suddenly took a strange turn. One day, she went into the woods after school like she normally did, but something was different. She could hear whispers all around her, saying her name or even saying random things. Wondering who was in the woods, she searched and searched, but found no one but the animals she called friends. It was only a matter of time until she discovered that the animals were the ones speaking, and that she was capable of speaking back. At this realization, the head female deer of the woods approached Elain, its face kind and gentle. The deer carried a small item in its mouth. As Elain accepted the item, the deer explained to her that dark times were approaching, and the creatures of the forests needed protection. Elain was told that she was the girl destined to protect the woodlands and all of its inhabitants. Oak Shield - If there are trees nearby, Cervidae can channel her magic by touching a tree and creating a shield made from the tree's bark. The shield created would be sturdy, but wouldn't stand a chance against fire.
Emerald Tornado - By channeling her connection with nature, Cervidae can summon hundreds of leaves, carrying them in the wind until they create a mediocre tornado. She can get annoyed very quickly, and her patience is very thin when it comes to completing tasks. She lived a relatively normal life, attending school, going out on Friday nights, and participating in after-school activities. Despite her 'normal' lifestyle, there had always been something about her that she was forced to hide from everyone except her father. Ever since she could remember, Kimba had the ability to bend and control fire. In her younger years, this ability was a little out of control, but as Kimba grew older and learned the art of glassbending, controlling her powers seemed to get easier. Even though she had her powers under control, Kimba never understood why she had them. Her questions were answered to her in a dream on her 16th birthday. The aboriginal sun goddess, Wala, appeared in Kimba's dream to tell her of her destiny as a soldier fighting to protect Earth. When Kimba woke the next morning, she found an unfamiliar pen on her bedside table. Out of the blue, Kimba seemed to understand what she had to do, and was able to transform into Sailor Ignis without any trouble. History: In her past life, Kineta was, along with her twin sister, a regular girl living on the planet Vitality located near the planet Uranus. She was raised by both of her parents in a happy home, in a happy town, on a happy planet. She went through life with a carefree attitude and an optimistic outlook. She grew up set apart from the others in her group of friends in term of physique and athletic capability, but she didn't let her superiority get in the way of having fun. She got along well with others, and was the more social between herself and her twin On Kineta's 18th birthday, she and her sister were summoned to the Vitality Palace by Queen Vitality herself. The queen was a mystery to all who lived on Vitality, but they all trusted her and the ruling decisions she made. The only people who had ever laid eyes on her were her family and her closest royal advisors. It was quite a surprise to Kineta when she was summoned, but of course she went to the palace. History: Growing up, Masuyo was a cheerful, fun-loving, adventurous girl. She grew up in a fairly wealthy household as an only child with her father and mother. Unfortunately, during her fourteenth year, Masuyo’s family fell victim to a horrible crime. During the summertime, Masuyo’s family traveled to Tokyo for her father to attend an important business conference. Late one night, while the family was walking home together from an expensive dinner, the three were assailed by a thief. In a desperate attempt to protect his family, Masuyo’s father attacked the thief. Unknown to Masuyo’s father, the stranger was armed, and murdered him, along with his wife. Fearful for her life and scarred by the screams and blood staining the dark alley, Masuyo ran as far as she could from the criminal and her dead parents without stopping. She still hadn’t registered what had happened when she stumbled upon a Shinto shrine, falling on her knees at the steps and sobbing uncontrollably. Hearing Masuyo’s cries, the priest at the shrine came outside to find the poor girl there. After hours of consolation, the priest was still unable to get the story out of Masuyo, but he assumed she was an orphan and needed a place to stay. For the next four years, Masuyo lived at the shrine and maintained it as one of its priestesses. She learned the ways of the Shinto religion and spent her days in silence, hiding when she could and avoiding the eye of anyone she came across. Her constant fear was the thief’s return, and so she lived in personal solitude. Not long after Masuyo turned seventeen, she found herself alone at the shrine, as her adopted father had left for the afternoon. Suddenly overcome with fear, Masuyo fell to her knees and prayed to the gods for strength and guidance. Hearing her plea, the goddess Inari appeared, comforting Masuyo with her presence and kind words. To Masuyo’s shock, Inari gifted her with a special charm and a bottle of perfume, telling her that the items would serve to give her strength and confidence to help others who were in need. Inari also left Masuyo with a pure white fox to watch over her and give her comfort in times of fear and insecurity. Unknown the Masuyo, the fox was also there to monitor her growth as both a senshi and as a person. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Masuyo vowed to serve Inari for the rest of her days, carrying out her will and protecting the citizens of Japan with her newfound powers as a sailor senshi.
