Appearance: 

Veritas stands at 5"4 and looks to be about 185 lbs. His hair is black, and colored in a flat top. This is kept constantly trimmed by him. One of his eyes has been replaced with a robotic one, that glows purplish green. There is a scar around that eye, the result of an accident. There are no scars or other markings on any part of his face. His other eye is normal, and has no scarring around it. Any facial hair is constantly trimmed off of his face because he doesn't want it there. 


Physically he looks like a cross between the "athletic" and the "nerd" types. He is not exceptionally muscular, but has a decent amount of muscle on his body. His body has a right hand that is also robotic, as a result of the incident that he had. This hand is colored like the rest of his body until he deactivates the holograms around it that disguise it. His traditional garments are comprised of a pure black outfit with gold and green trim. This consists of a black body suit, black  jeans, black steel reinforced boots, black fingerless gloves with golden trim, a black and green leather jacket and a black muscle shirt. 


Personality:  


Veritas is an individual who is very ambitious when it comes to inventing gadgetry. He's a bit obsessed with proving himself a worthy hero, even if he goes about it the wrong way. Typically he prefers the most effective strategies to take down his opponent. When it comes to a fight there is no dirty trick that Veritas will not use. He is willing to take any shot to make sure his opponent doesn't get back up once he pummels them into submission. An inventor, Veritas loves to create mechanical devices, including technology of the future. His love of such is shown with all the toys that he uses when he is "Cyberlord' because all of his tools he built himself, except for the Infinity Sigil and what it stores inside. Veritas has a crush on Sailor Venus, even if he'd never admit it to himself as well as the other Senshi. Veritas has a large ego and could be manipulated if someone could play to his ego, or to his feelings for the Senshi including Sailor Venus. Intellectually he is strong, because he constantly pushes his brain. One of his weaknesses is that he is a workaholic to say the least, and will constantly push his body and mind harder than he should.

History: 


Veritas Solaris was your average kid. He went to school and tried his best to get along with everyone. When he was eight years old however an incident changed him. The incident in question was when his mother got replaced by a Youma. The Senshi came to the rescue as always, but what they didn't know was that Veritas had been watching. Envious of the strength they possessed, but believing that he couldn't ever achieve such magical abilities Veritas poured his efforts into scientific research, and robotics as well as other futuristic gadgets. Of course part of his determination came from a crush on the Senshi that he didn't realize he had at the time. From then until he was thirteen, Veritas poured his heart and soul into working on mechanical innovations. It was when he was thirteen he got a visit from a man in a hooded cloak who offered him a little deal. In return for a favor to be paid later at a time of his choosing, he'd give Veritas the power he craved. Foolishly, Veritas accepted the deal and so it was done. The old man disappeared but not before leaving behind a black bracer with green trim that looked sorta like a dragon's head. 

Given the bracer,  Veritas spent the next five years in intensive training. Learning from snipers and marksmen he paid with money he earned from selling various inventions,  he learned how to shoot an opponent with a lot of different fire-arms, and types of weaponry in that aspect. Martial arts instructors were also hired by him as was an expert with a specific type of sword, and it's cousins... namely a katana expert. His education at their hands was brutal but he wouldn't have it any other way, as it pushed him to the absolute limits of his abilities and further still. Pushed to excel and go past his limits, Veritas did exactly that and developed new technology for himself. Finally at the age of eighteen he decided it was time and so he's become the villain Cyberlord. An accident happened before he could go out, costing him one of his eyes. Fortunately he had a robotic replacement ready, and so he paid a doctor to install it. 


Recently he's taken to the streets as "Cyberlord" and has become the "King Pin of Crime" in addition to becoming a "Landlord" to people. Being turned into a monster is rarer under areas under his protection. 






Other Noteworthy Facts:  

As he doesn't believe in Star Signs, he doesn't have a favorite. His blood type is O. Favorite Gem is a Ruby. Favorite flower? Sun flower.  Veritas is a workaholic as far as habits. Favorite subjects? Anything having to do with science, inventing, or technology to say the least. Least favorite?  History.  Favorite Food? He doesn't have one, but loves all Italian, and Chinese, and Japanese style foods. Least favorite? Cheese Enchiladas.

The only difference is a dragon headed arm bracer on his right arm, and the outfit is black/green with gold trim.  He does have a second outfit for when he stops messing around with his opponents though. 




The differences are that the outfit is black and green. 
Powers: 


Blast #1  is one of the "spells" that the Infinity Sigil grants him. This allows him to shoot emerald beams of energy from his hands. These only contain enough force to knock out a normal human and probably could only stun a Youma or a Senshi for a few seconds. But this is the first of the typical spells that he uses when fighting an opponent. 

Blast #2  is a spell that can create a cutlass made out of an emerald colored energy in his hand which he then points at an opponent. Once this has been pointed, about fifty portals will open up and out of them will fire green energy beams like the First Chapter, First Verse. Only these are different in that they have a bit more oomph to them, capable of destroying parked cars easily. They can likely at the very least stun any Youma or Senshi they hit for several minutes. .

Enhancement is a spell that works on him directly, rather than allowing him to project his energy outward. What this does in laymen's terms? It boosts him to double his normal strength and speed. While this spell can be used, he doesn't like to use it. It makes emerald glyphs appear on his body when in use. Enhancement's boost depends on the opponent he is fighting, and how strong they are physically. If they are too weak, the spell won't give him a boost. 


Equip - Monster Hunter's blade - Murasaune is a technique that summons the sword Marasune to his hand so that he can use it against his opponent. This is all the technique does. It is activated by pushing a button on his bracer after which the weapon beams into his hand. The sword has a few techniques. However this blade is primarily made for fighting monsters and Youma, and as such is ineffective against those who use Light, such as the Senshi. 


- Aura Break: Holding the sword out in front of him, Veritas will grip it with both hands and take a deep breath. When a youma or another class of monster fires an energy or physical attack in his direction, he can cut the attack in half no matter how powerful it is, when Aura Break is activated. For you see this attack doesn't cut the actual attack of the opponent, but rather the negative energy that fuels the attack. 


- Drilling Slash:  Leaping into the air he will begin to spin around, with his sword pointed towards an opponent like a spear. Becoming a 'drill' in the air, he will shoot towards his opponent to impale them on the sword. Should this work, is opponent will be blown backwards by an explosion, and likely heavily damaged if they are a monster. 


- Saber Guard:  Holding his sword out in front of him, the Katana Marasune he will assume a defensive stance and be able to block one attack that is headed his way. This is usable every fifteen seconds. 


Equip - Kusarangi:  Kusarangi is a blade that is forged out of evil and hatred. It was made to be used against magical girls, and those of the Light. As such it has techniques geared towards that. 
- Fear Slash: A slash that when it hits an opponent does no physical damage. This instead strikes at their mind causing them to be trapped in their worst fear for fifteen seconds. This cannot be stacked, or done twice in a row. 









 


Weapons or Magical Items: 


Infinity Sigil: The Infinity Sigil is a gun metal gray and green coin that is the source of his abilities. Nigh invulnerable it acts as a Pseudo Star Seed for him. Not only does this allow him to cast out magical spells out of it when it is held out by him towards an opponent, but it can absorb the tainted energy of a Youma and thus purify them. Of course it converts the darkness into more power for it to wield later on. The Infinity Sigil if stolen would simply reappear. This was inside of the bracer, and is normally kept inside when transformed to prevent jacking it. The Infinity Sigil also contains a Hammerspace that holds a variety of weapons for his own personal use in battle. 


 -  Marasune  is one of the weapons that is held within the Infinity Sigil. The sword Marasune is a katana, but possesses a blade made out of Plasma. This was not made by him but originated with the Infinity Sigil. The original purpose of this sword was to be a "demon" or "monster" slaying blade, and as such it is very useful when it comes to battling Youma or similar creatures, but is not as effective when facing down the Senshi. This sword is a black and green hilted katana, with a blade that appears to be black with gold trim. This is summoned via the Infinity Sigil. It possesses the ability to send arcing green waves of energy out with each slash. 
 


Plasma Pistol,  Phobos:  Phobos is a black and green colored Plasma Pistol set that is wielded by Veritas. This has unlimited ammo, but the blasts it shoots are only as powerful as punches to the face and even then, they don't do nearly as much damage as he would like. But this is good at disrupting the magic abilities of a Senshi temporarily when shot by them. Each blast lowers the effectiveness of their attacks by 5% for 20 seconds. 


Kusarangi:  Kusarangi is a blade with Four Forms that can be used both against monsters, and heroes or heroines. This sword is believed by Veritas to be forged out of evil.















Guardian:   




Deryll is an old swordsman who was once a Knight, or Male assistant to the Senshi. Upon retirement he managed to keep his item of power, the Infinity Sigil. But unable to wield it he is still able to wield magic, and has a variety of weapons, such as katanas, spears, staffs and many others including a variety of fire-arms. He's made it his life goal to train Veritas in all he knows and mold him into a proper wielder for the Infinity Sigil. He's highly skilled at the martial arts as well. 
RP Sample: 


Frowning as he watched from the roof top, Veritas Solaris sighed. Why couldn't he get over these feelings? They felt like butterflies in his stomach when he was around the Senshi. It was an uncomfortable warmth that he couldn't explain. Of course having never had a crush before he was a person who didn't know much about love. Love was an anomaly to him and one he hadn't experienced. Practicality was preferred by him. Instead of wasting time dating he had spent his time since his rescue about 10 years ago when he had been eight working. Well not so much working, as training so he could be powerful enough to put the curb stomp on the Youma, and then maybe the Senshi would notice him. Whichever one had shown up that is, that night. Veritas didn't have the best of memories when it came to people and faces. It was a flaw he promised himself that at some point he was going to cure.  Noticing a few youma appear, he sighed and pulled out his coin, tossing it into the air before loading it into his bracer. 


"Infinity Sigil Loaded, Commencing Transformation!" 


Green and black fire came out of the bracer, wrapping around his body. This formed the suit over him once more, a suit of powered armor that he had been working on since then. Only recently had he managed to complete the suit of armor but now he knew he'd use it. Sure he couldn't play the hero as he didn't have the magical abilities the Senshi did to purify. But that didn't mean he couldn't take down his opponents a different way. Technology had any options that magic didn't, and he was going to do his best to use technology to fight, even if he had to play the role of a villain. After all supplies to build his gadgets were most certainly not cheap.
