Usagi's mother flicked the switch on the remote, and the television crackled to life.

"This is indeed the strongest storm recorded in the last 50 years of Tokyo's history!" stated the newscaster seated at the desk, turning towards his fellow anchor. "It looks like it will be even breaking even more records as the day goes on! Just look at that snow!"

It cut momentarily to a view from outside the studio. Snowflakes whirled past in a flurry, the streets already piling deeper and deeper with snow. There were moments when the camera view showed only whiteness, the blizzard obscuring everything.

She watched for a few more minutes, sighed, and turned it off. Outside the windows of the living room of the Tsukino house, the same storm raged. The glass panes rattled with every new gale. It was cozy enough inside their home at the moment, and thankfully they had not experienced a power outage, but it looked like it was going to get worse and worse. Ikuko searched the whiteness outside as if expecting to see someone, sighing again.

"I hope Usagi and the girls are alright..."

"We're never getting home with all this snow!" Usagi pouted, flopping into the seat of a racing game at the Crown Arcade.

Makoto smiled at her sympathetically.

"At least we're together," suggested Ami, taking a look towards Minako, Rei, Luna, and Artemis. They had all been meeting at arcade to play a few games and hang out when the snow set in.

They soon changed their thoughts and went outside to play with snow.Although there was a disastrous snowstorm ,there were places between the buildings where wasn't too much wind and sufficient snow for a snowball fight .Places like the between of the Game Center Crown and Crown Fruit Parlor .As the girls arrived they were discussing what to do .


"What should we do first Usagi ?"said Minako smiling beautifully .

"I have another question ,Miss Meatball Head !Why did you bring us in this snowstorm ?There are warnings that we shouldn't pass over !Like not going outside during a snowstorm !"Rei was just being her usually-self ,fighting with Usagi .


Usagi was really happy and didn't have time for fights with Rei-chan.


"Oh Rei-chan ,this is just a typical snowstorm .No need to worry !We surely won't get sick !As for what could we do ,I don't have any idea ." 

"I know!" Usagi exclaimed. "Let's build a snowman!"
They each decided to take a section. Makoto and Rei took the base, Ami and Minako took the head, and Usagi began rolling the head. 
"Luna, Artemis, would you look for something we can use for eyes, mouth, and arms?" Usagi asked.
"Sure!" Replied Artemis.
The cats searched through alleyway for things that could be used. 
"Not much good snowman material here..." Luna muttered as she and Artemis examined the ground closely.
"Yeah, not sure what Usagi was thinking," Artemis answered. "Maybe we could suggest doing something else to her?"
They walked back and Luna called, "Usagi? There's not much material here for arms and such?"
"Okay..." Usagi pouted momentarily, but recovered quickly and announced, "How about snow angels guys?"

"How about a snowball fight?"

Not waiting for an answer, she quickly formed a snowball and tossed it to the face of the nearest target - Rei.

She instinctively maneuvered out of the way and was ready to taunt Usagi on her poor attempt to strike her, when the splat she heard indicated that the snowball had indeed managed to hit something solid.

Minako.

Rei shivered - that could not go well. Minako's face easily reflected what she thought. "Oh it's so on."

She formed a medium-sized snowball and targeted Usagi in retaliation. Her aim was true, striking the blonde right in the nose.

Before she could throw it, however, another snowball collided with the back of Minako's blonde head, nearly knocking her over.

Minako whirled around, eyes blazing, wondering who had dared to hit her with a snowball after Rei's initial attack, but when her blue eyes landed on the culprit they widened in shock and surprise. In fact, all of the eyes were focused on what Minako was looking at, the entire snowball fight temporarily halted. The truth was that no one could really believe what they were seeing.

"A-ami-chan?!?!" exclaimed Minako, immediately echoed by Usagi.

Ami blushed a bright crimson across her cheeks, the arm ready to throw another snowball lowering beside her. The brisk wind tugged at the cozy scarf bundled around her neck, which she tried to hide her face in as she stood there.

"It just... looked like fun," she admitted guiltily.
