Sailor Ribbon - because every present isn't complete until you have a ribbon tied upon it!

"Wrapped up like a present to give."

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, except this mouse. Wait, that's not how it's supposed to go, is it?  She was once a normal everyday house mouse; and her hole happened to be in a very wealthy mansion. So wealthy, in fact, that the cats were too spoiled and lazy to catch her! They'd just watch from their silk and satin cat beds as she'd run to and fro, gathering all sorts of luxurious cheese goods for her home-a home that had been home to her family for generations. She had no idea just how lucky she was-that is, until she got herself accidentally locked out one cold winters night. Not only did she experience the struggle for survival ordinary mice have, but she noticed that humans outside of this wealthy abode were not much better off. After finding that long-searched-for piece of cheese, she noticed a group of rather tiny humans living in a very tiny wooden home. They were so small and dirty, she almost mistook them for her own kind! She noticed how they had no food-which was odd, what human home had no food for mice to take? It made her  so upset, that she began to share her gathered cheese with them. Her good deeds didn't go unnoticed, and the grand old elf Santa himself decided to reward this humble mouse for her kindness by granting her powers, along with a human like form. The adorned bells often have folk mistake her for Santa's Reindeer-which is exactly the point, as she hops from rooftop to rooftop every evening during the Holiday season to make sure each and every house has a warm meal to come home to.

Nobody quite knows how she came to be; and rumors have been spreading throughout the North pole and Santa's workshop for generations. What is known is that she is, in fact, the very first elf Santa Claus had ever appointed to be a head elf. Now, there's more then one head elf now, considering how big the business has grown as Christmas became more well known-but back in the day when the factory was simply out of his own house and the trips were much smaller, it was only her. She's always busy training newcomers in the ways of making toys, stuffing stockings and tying the perfect bow on every present. Many have asked Santa himself about her-as she takes her work so seriously she rarely talks about herself, but he only gives that trademark laugh and politely sends them on their merry way. Many elves admire her, others envy her-but all wonder about the powers within her magical snowglobe staff. Whenever she shakes it, and the last snowflake settles on top of the last tiny present under the tiny Christmas tree, Holiday miracles are said to occur-but only to the pure of heart. This only makes the north pole residents more apt to spread rumors-after all, who else here is able to possess such magic other then Santa himself? Is she his daughter? An old friend that helped the business start? A certain rumor even suggests that it was she herself that granted Santa his abilities! When approached, she never confirms nor denies them, but just continues her work-and Santa isn't talking either, nor is his wife. She's a curious thing, Ms. Peppermint Candycane. One thing is certain, the holidays wouldn't be the same without her.

She was born of wealth and had everything she would ever want but decided to use that money and give to charities and others. She would buy clothes and jackets and toys and things for people that needed it and then she would go with her mom (she can't drive yet) and give out the gifts to everyone..she didn't just do this at Christmas oh no...she did this every month of the year.
