It was a dark and stormy night, with the sharp breeze of an autumn wind, when your character received the following mysterious invitation in his or her name!


How peculiar! Who is hosting this mysterious party? How did your character wind up on the guest list? Well... your character thinks that he or she would love to go, isn't that right? So join us!


Activity Rule and Posting Etiquette
• Please post at least once every 48 hours. Characters who are not posting and have not notified me that they will be on LOA will be quietly moved so they do not interrupt the flow of the trick-or-treating.
• Please refrain from posting very frequently—be consider of other RPers. Give them a chance to catch up. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
• Be considerate of other RPers when you are posting, making sure that you pay attention to what others are doing to avoid disrupting their posts. Give other RPers time to reply to or interact with your character, particularly if you initiate the action.  This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
• No bad guys vs. good guys fighting—mingle with each other and enjoy the party
• Keep an eye out for prompts from the event organizer, Aurae!

How to Trick-or-Treat:
• Your character may collect 1 treat every day, after trick-or-treating begins. (There will be an announcement in the thread.)
• You must post in the thread, having your character decide which basket to approach and take candy from.
• You must PM Aurae with the following form (please use "OC Trick-or-Treat MM/DD" as the subject of your PM):

Trick-or-Treating Basket:
• You will receive a small image of the candy you collected.

Examples of Candy:

• Collect candy from all participating players and enter to win to custom sprite of your character!

What is your character's costume? Doom Marine with battle-worn armor (spoiler for picture), minus firearm because he doesn't need one it's wholly unnecessary for a peaceful event. Hair and mouth are obscured by helmet when worn, but the helmet is easily removed. Other than that, a slight imperfection makes his costume slightly itchy to wear.

What is your character's costume? It took me a long while but it finally hit me: Hadley would totally want to dress up as her grandmother!! Grey wig put up in a bun with a flower comb pinning up the side. A long purple dress with flowing sleeves, gold trim and a belt with pouches! She'd also have a see-through shawl draped around her shoulders, with gold filigree.

Okay, I just realized that I'm a little confused by the trick-or-treating concept right now. To collect candy, we must have the characters approach a basket and reach in? Then we PM you to find out if they were able to get a piece candy without the room trolling them? Or is the PMing just for us to collect the little candy icons?

I apologize for my lack of activity in this event so far! I had some things come up these past few days that I had to address first.

Also, if anybody needs or wants their character to interact with another character, feel free to go pester Kyan. She needs to be shown the true meaning of Halloween. XD
