Appearance: Minako's most striking feature, aside from her vibrant personality, is her long, blonde hair. She habitually gathers her hair with a large, red ribbon tied in a bow. Even when held by a red ribbon, her hair reaches past her waist. Bangs frame an enthusiastic smile and blue eyes sparkling with joy and a touch of mischief. Sometimes a light blush will shade her cheeks when she has been caught doing something she should not have or tears will brim in her eyes when she's been let down by a crush, but mostly she's animated with a passion for life and love.

Eager to stay on top of the latest in fashion, Minako is not often caught wearing the same outfit for more than one season. Due to the ever-changing trends and styles in fashion, her own wardrobe changes often and it is a little more difficult to pin down a 'typical' look for Minako. However, no matter the outfit, she enjoys flattering her womanly charm. Which, thanks to the active lifestyle of a sailor senshi and the occasional athlete, is well-toned. She excels at many athletic activities, but hasn't always had the time for them due to her duty as a senshi. 

Personality: Her strong passion for life and the pursuit of happiness can cause many to believe Minako wears her heart on her sleeve, but her close friends know this woman reserves a portion of herself for those she would give her life for. The life of a sailor senshi can have lasting effects on anyone, particularly a young girl. But, these emotions have caused her to treasure those closest to her and live every moment to the fullest. Would life be worth it if you did everything half-way? She doesn't want to find out and instead throws herself into every passion, whether it be the latest idol a new fad or long-lasting friendships. 

This particular personality trait has created grandiose ambitions, none of which she has developed a very detailed plan on how to accomplish. But, her strong-will and independence means she is unlikely to admit she is unable to accomplish a task or her ideas are less than realistic. No matter the dream, ambition, or desire, her duty as a sailor senshi will always come first. 

Anything can happen if you try hard enough, especially when it comes to love. Fully embracing her title as the senshi of love, Minako is well-known for trying to play cupid. As she has grown older, her ideas and theories about love have become more realistic, but she truly believes love will conquer all. Of course, Minako wants to find her soulmate, but she hasn't made a true effort to fall in love. Her duty as a senshi has held her heart back.  


Any Unique Abilities/Skills: The Goddess of Love! But no, Minako thinks she has the abilities only unique to Cupid, but she really has a talent for providing, sometimes, good advice on the matters of love and she's always willing to offer you a hug if true love hasn't been found yet.

But hey, she is Sailor Venus, the agent of love and beauty.

History: While she was a young girl, a white cat came to Minako and urged her to fulfill her destiny as a sailor senshi of love and justice. After some effort and tough love, Artemis shaped a over-zealous pre-teen with a penchant for the latest fad into a a confident and talented guardian of love and justice, Sailor V. Her duty as a sailor senshi took her across Japan and even brought her temporarily to foreign lands. No matter where she was, Sailor V offered her help to the local police department and gained several important contacts therein. As Sailor V, she was the first line of defense against the Dark Kingdom and served as a distraction while the other sailor senshi were found by Luna. 

As time passed, Minako recognized a yearning for something long-lost and eagerly followed Artemis to a particular suburb in Japan. This yearning blossomed into a resurgence of memories from a past life, the Silver Millennium. This was a difficult time in her childhood and she still grapples with the knowledge that she had once been a different, but sort-of the same person years and years ago. Once in Juuban she found friendships that could not be broken by time and distance. First, she proclaimed herself as the long-lost Princess Serenity, so the real princess would not be targeted. But, she eventually revealed herself as Sailor Venus, the once-leader of the sailor senshi. Together, she fought alongside the sailor senshi and willingly gave her life to protect them, for they were precious to her.

Senshi Fuku:
Sailor Venus' fuku has evolved with her as her skills as a sailor senshi has grown. Regardless of her current 'level' her fuku's color scheme is dominated by orange and yellow, although there were striking differences in color palette when she was masquerading as Sailor V. Some accessories, such as the sleeves and pattern of the sailor senshi collar, may change as Sailor Venus 'evolves'.

In its most basic form, the Sailor Venus fuku is a white leotard framed by a short, orange skirt. This skirt is often accessorized with a chain belt that can also function as a weapon. Upon the chest is a blue bow with a yellowish-orange broach. A yellow bow is placed the back, just above the rear, and the ribbon's length often changes when Sailor Venus ascends to a new level as a sailor senshi. Her painted nails are covered by longer, white gloves that are bordered by orange and end just below her elbow. A gold tiara with a yellowish-orange jewel rests on her forehead and a large, red bow holds back her hair. Lastly, the orange heels are a must with any Sailor Venus fuku.

Guardian: Artemis

RP Sample: Yes, this may be based off a one-shot I wrote for the forums awhile back.

Sure, Minako had faced these sorts of odds before, back when she had first become Sailor V, the guardian of love and justice. It never seemed impossible when the thought came into her mind, but then she would remember what had happened before. This should never be so difficult! He could be reasoned with, right? With a derisive snort, the blonde shook her head. No, of course not. He had proven time and time again that he would struggle against her regardless of what reason, logic, or common sense dicated.

Grabbing the towel off the table with one hand, Minako slunk low to the ground and moved quietly toward her target. Little did he know, her training as a sailor senshi had primed her as the perfect adversary. She could move swiftly and quietly, pouncing upon her prey before he knew what had happened. Today, this would be used to her advantage. If the situation were different, he would praise her for her stealth and cunning. And, maybe, although the odds were very low, after this was all over with he would congratulate her on a job well done? Ha! As if.

Her mission would be successful! Today, Artemis would have a bath and Minako would have a clean, sweet-smelling cat as her guardian and ever-faithful sidekick. This was the perfect opportunity to try the new conditioner. It smelled of pomegranate and oranges.

Lounging on the windowsill, Artemis lazily based in the sun’s warm and comforting rays. The sun lulled him into a light sleep and a beautiful dream about Luna and catnip. Of course, she didn’t like the stuff, but that did not matter in his dreams. His tail twitched and he mumbled something low in his throat. A smile quirked on his lips and he batted the air with one paw. “Nah, Luna.”

Minako crouched underneath the windowsill with her towel ready. Slowly, she stood up and stretched the towel out to cover the cat. At just the wrong moment, Artemis’ right eye stretched open. The teenager froze with her eyes wide. Oh, no! Both of them stared at each other for a moment, then Artemis yowled and toppled off the windowsill. Minako cursed and dove for him with the towel, but he slipped through her fingers. “Artemis!” She yelled, stomping her foot against the ground as her cat tore out of the living room. "It'll be over quick, I promise!"

So, I noticed I left this unfinished awhile back, so this is my effort to try and complete it. I don't believe the canon submission form has changed since I started this character profile awhile back, but let me know if it has. I have no particular storyline in mind for this character; I just wanted to finish it, lol.

For advanced profiles, we typically require a few paragraphs for both personality and history. Beyond just her personality, you can talk about Minako's dreams, goals, fears, likes/dislikes, etc. A nice way to expand on the personality bit is start with a list of traits and then expand them into sentences as you go along!

For the history, I would just like to see a more detailed story of how she started out as Sailor V, then remembering her past life and eventually joining Usagi and the others.

The only thing missing I can see is the mention of her dream/ambition to become an idol (which may have been put aside due to her duties, but still a big part of her personality). I'll approve this now, but would appreciate it if you can slip that in!
