Appearance: Ami is 5'2" in height, which is on the lower side of average for girls. Her body is sleek and rather flexible, almost like how water can be, despite her not having many interests in sporty sides of things where that flexibility would be useful. Her movements have somewhat of a fluidity to them. Her face has a more mature look to it, in comparison to Usagi, though not quite as mature as someone like Rei or Michiru. Like the water she can control as a senshi, her eyes and hair are each a beautiful blue. Her eyes are more of a deep blue, while her hair is closer to the color of the sea. Her hair is also rather short, about an inch above her shoulders.

For outfits, Ami tends to wear soft, cool colors, mostly blue. She has a wide array of outfits, ranging from a blue sundress to a much warmer pastel blue long sleeved shirt with a dark blue vest and a long brown skirt. The outfit she is most seen in is her school uniform. Due to the fact that she goes to the same school with Usagi and Minako (and Makoto, but she doesn't normally wear the correct outfit as it didn't fit her), she shares the same uniform as them. A long or short sleeved white shirt with blue with thin white stripes cuffs at the ends of the sleeves, the length depending on weather. There is a blue scarf with a red bow to complete the top and a medium length blue skirt. She also has been seen wearing reading glasses.

Personality: Ami is a shy, soft spoken girl with a dream to become a doctor. She is extremely intelligent, said to have the IQ of 300. Working towards her goal and using her intelligence for good use, she is very studious, often seen with a book in hand. She studies a lot, maybe even a bit too much in the other senshi's opinions. Due to all of this, she is often seen as strange by other people. Especially since, no matter the exam, she tends to get the highest score. Around most people, she tends to keep to herself. She would especially do this before meeting Usagi.

Despite what many people think, Ami is much more than just an intelligent mind. With friends, she is very friendly. She loves spending time with the other senshi, whether that means studying or going to the park to hang out. She is often the girl of the group who worries the most. She is always concerned about her friends' well being, always there to comfort them. She also tries to make sure her friends studying, though that can be quite a task when it comes to Usagi.

Over all, Ami is very sweet, gentle and intelligent. She is also very loyal to her friends, and would never leave them. Before she met Usagi, she was insecure and had a difficult time making friends. After Usagi and her became close friends, she slowly became more confident.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Ami has an IQ of 300 and ability to manipulate and even create water. She is the smartest of the group and tends to come up with the best strategies.
 
History: Growing up, Ami was rather lonely. Her parents are divorced and both are very busy. Her mother works hard at her job of being a doctor and comes home late, leaving Ami to tend to herself. Her father on the other hand is an artist who has been traveling the world. She would rarely get to talk to her mother, other than by using a note board found in the kitchen. She threw herself into her studies, working hard to make sure she could become a doctor like her mother. She'd often go to cram schools after school for extra work.

Ami met her first friend Usagi in Junior High. They quickly became friends, receiving a pen, each, from the Sailor V game. After going to Cram school, it turned out the school was a part of Dark Kingdom's plan to take energy for their 'great ruler'. It was there where she first transformed into Sailor Mercury. It was Ami who was the second Senshi to be shown to awaken, the first after Sailor Moon.

RP Sample: There was a soft patter on the windows when Ami found herself waking up from a nice night’s sleep. She stood to look outside to see water dripping down the outside of the glass. On the pavement below, water droplets hit, wetting the ground below. The blue haired girl took a deep breath in and out. It looked like would be a calm rainy day. She enjoyed the rain. The sound it made when it hit her window as she read books in the dim light on her couch, the fresh scent after it rains, the occasional thunderstorm. It was all so relaxing to the senshi of water. Ami moved away from the window to grab a thick non-fiction book before pausing, putting it back on her shelf of books. Instead, her hand moved to a small collection of romance novels. Her secret pleasure. After picking one out, she moved to the living room. Steadily she moved to cuddle up on the couch. It was only a few moments before she became lost in her book, oblivious to the rain  that still trickled along her window.
