| I'm a little curious, what is the reputation for? How do you use it? |

| Reputation is currently something that doesn't affect anything or any one's status here on the forums. You gain reputation by people "thanking" you via the "thank" option given to topic starters. Or by getting a "thanks". There are also points, but I believe that only moderators can up vote or down vote a person's post, however the option shows as a little + or - sign under the "edit post" option. Here is the breakdown of my current reputation. - Quote :
- Positive votes received : 2
- Negative votes received : 0
- Thanks received : 9
- Positive votes given : 4
- Negative votes given : 0
- Thanks given : 3
To view your own reputation status, just click on your name on any of your posts, and click on "statistics". |

| I think this type of ranking system is good for help forums. that way you can get an idea if the person is giving a good answer or not judging on their reputation, etc. It really has little use here. Its just already included with the forum package I believe. ^^; |

| I think it's a good idea but you're only allowed to "vote" on a post once per day? |
