Each senshi had a dream of her own outside of being a Sailor soldier. Makoto wanted to be a happy housewife, Minako wanted to be an idol, Ami wanted to become a doctor. If the girls had never awoken as sailor senshi (and nothing bad happened to the earth), which of them do you think would have realized their dreams?

Usagi- Yes, becoming a house wife is a realistic dream, but difficult for her!
Ami- becoming a doctor is a very good realistic dream!
Rei-she had so many dreams that I don't know about her!
Makato- her dream of owning a flower shop one day is very realistic!
Minako- Her dream isn't the most realistic, because it's hard to become an idol.

Outer sailor soldiers- I think that Haruka and Michiru also both have very realistic dreams- Haruka with track/motorcross racing(depending on which version is used) and Michiru with her painting/teaching children art and her violin performances.

Hotaru-unknown dream, so she's hard to say!

Sestuna- I'm not sure what her dream is either.

This order for me top being most likely:

Ami
Makoto
Rei
Minako

All of them have realistic dreams. Even the most ambitious ones like Minako, we have seen in the anime that she could achieve it, she just chose not to.

I agree Mercury i just forgot Minako's choice in the anime but good thing I'm rewatching episodes.

I think Ami's dream was the most realistic. She was aspiring to become a doctor and studied hard for it. She was well on her way to it before she became a Sailor Soldier. I think, if she can find to time to study while being a soldier, she can still realize her dream.

I always saw Minako's dream as the most unrealistic, more like the kind of thing she might grow out of as a teenage girl. She's always seemed more transient to me just based on her background in the Sailor V manga, kind of like she has no set place she fits in, but then that's probably all headcanon!

I guess "unlikely" is a better term! Like I just personally couldn't see her attaining it because being an idol star is such a hard thing to do in general.

I personally think Minako can do it, though. As we've seen in Stars, she made it through all those auditions and chose not to go with it at the last minute because her duty was more important. If she isn't holding herself back, she absolutely can achieve it.

And let's be honest the Starlights are aliens and somehow they figured out how to be super idols in such a short amount of time, let's give Minako more credit.

Makoto wants to marry someone she truly loves, but knowing her I thought she had large inspirations in her life (i.e. to pursue a career in athletics). All the civilian dreams are realistic, they need to stick to their goals and work hard to become doctors, singers, monks (Rei's a priestess), homemakers and whatever else. Sailor Moon's anime sends a good message to girls (and boys too) to inspire to their greatness when they grow up and be anything they want to be.

Ami because she was already a certifiable genius.

I think Makoto had the most realistic dream, if she found the right person to spend her life with. I also believe Ami and Rei have realistic dreams. Minako's is a bit more far fetched, but I could see her making it big as an idol...I mean look at PGSM....just saying.

I just want to say it here that I didn't like that Chibiusa's dream was dubbed the "purest" and "most beautiful".

That aside, I thought they all had very realistic dreams and even pure dreams (except for you Minako - fame isn't pure I'm afraid). You see at the end of PGSM they all achieved their dreams (Minako doing it earlier in life). So they're all doable and they're all very realistic. I agree that Minako's dream is the most unlikely but, as shown in canon works, she can definitely achieve it. I think this brings up a sadder discussion however - are they ABLE to achieve their dreams? We're under the impression that senshi work comes first. PGSM doesn't count because after Beryl, that was it. No more senshi business. They were all done and could live normal lives.

I'm sure all of them we're pretty realistic. Of course like many have stated Minako's was pretty far fetched, but I'm sure she could do it. However, I could see it going to her head quite a bit (kinda like what Jupiter Rose said above) which may be part of the reason why she didn't go through with it (aside from the Sailor Senshi thing).
