Advanced Character Profile
Character Name: Saphir
Gender: Male
Age and Date of Birth: He looks 16-18 years old
Used Canons: Anime & Manga & Myu
Appearance: Saphir looks like a healthy young man, slightly smaller than Diamond, thin, but not fragile with the small presence of muscles, but nothing more. He has a long face, small ears and never wears the black crystal earrings the other member of his clan wear. He wears his dark blue hair short, above the nape of his neck and his blue eyes - almost as dark as his hair - are both intelligent and piercing. They aren't as cold as his brother's and they used to be softer when Wiseman was not yet into their lives. There's also anger hidden there, a certain revolt and a disgust whenever Neo Queen Serenity is spoken of. He has a slightly pointed nose and thin lips.
He wears white pants and white shoes as well as a dark blue jacket. There are ornaments on both side of the jacket's front, made of stainless steel and rod-shaped. He is always seen with his gloves on.
Personality: On first glance, Saphir looks way more passive than his brother who always took more place and was louder than him. It's not that this information isn't correct. When it comes to his brother's plans, Saphir is generally more passive indeed, but he's not just that. He can be quite cunning and if he doesn't seem to have any wish to intervene, it's probably because he's bidding his time and waiting for the right time to strike. He is serious and prefers when everything goes according to plan. Even if he is particularly smart, he's not very fond of last minute change as it can throw off his whole planning. He likes to plan things in advance, to plan for any loopholes or random events that could come interrupt what they're doing, but when it's Diamond himself who change things, it happens to get on Saphir's nerves.
In the manga, he's known to react way more brutally than he does in the anime. Here, it's a mix of both, depending on his general mood on that day, he is unpredictable enough so that he may react passively or he might just throw a huge temper tantrum (in his own way, which are darker and usually more subtle than his brother's).
He is also a family man. He's not always the warmest of man, believing droids to often be better than people, but he loves his brother dearly and genuinely. He cares for him and worries about his well-being. Though he approves of his plans and usually shares the same opinions on many things, he can't help but feel immensely let down or disappointed when Diamond forgets what they planned to do as he wishes without any reguards for any of them. He would die for his brother, but can hold a grudge a long long time. He can also be very defiant if something annoys him.
He also doesn't really take well in Diamond's heart affairs as he finds them trivial and a waste of time - forgetting his short but real fling with Petz, but that's something he won't talk about.
He can, like his brother, lose his calm and go in a madness rampage if pushed to the edge of his patience.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: He is particularly smart and gifted in everything genetic and technological.
History: Saphir's childhood was relatively happy (anime wise) when his brother and him used to play together and when Diamond was not yet at the edge of a descent into madness. He loved his brother dearly and this affection followed him when Diamond turned against the rule of Neo Queen Serenity. Though he shared some of his brother's views, he didn't have such a violent way of seeing things, but he stood by him either way.
He witnessed his brother's brainwashing and, in the beginning, he fell for it as well, but the point was never to destroy Earth, at least not for him. He wanted to be able to live on it.
(Anime)
However, he grew quickly suspicious of Wiseman's intentions, but every time he tried to warn Diamond, he was ignored. When he actually came upon proof that the advisor had every intention to betray Diamond, Wiseman tried to kill him. He was able to flee and was taken in by the Sisters that had turned to good. Despite their good care, he decided to leave and warn his brother. As he was about to sway Diamond, he was finally killed. When his forehead was revealed, the dark crescent moon marked had disappeared.
(Manga)
Saphir was certain NQS was responsible for the change of heart his brother had and hated her for that. He tried to kill her, but she was able to evade his grip. Both Diamond and he became suspicious of Wiseman's intentions, but he brainwashed them again and Saphir wasn't able to free himself a second time, forcing Diamond to kill him by attacking him.
Other Noteworthy Facts: Diamond is his big brother.
Storyline Specific Information: Dance with the Devil: The Black Moon Clan's invasion was a success. If there were many losses, Diamond didn't mourn them long. As soon as he saw a path to victory, he lured the Sailor Senshi in a trap and was able to get rid of them one by one. Black Lady then managed to capture King Endymion in order to lock him in the dungeons of Diamond's castle. It left Neo Queen Serenity alone in her fight and though she tried to maintain her authority, Endymion's fate soon came in the balance and she had no choice but to give in for now. Upon her acceptance, Diamond pulled the Dark Crystal out of Earth's skin. Years passed, now Diamond and Neo Queen Serenity rule over a darker version of Crystal Tokyo. It can seem the same for their subjects, but they both know by looking at the former royal palace - where now live Luna, Artemis and Diana with full power over who enters or leaves - that the Dark Crystal's influence is still there. Wiseman is still around them, more like an unpleasant part of their lives than someone they want here and something is brewing in the air.
Can Neo Queen Serenity save her Kingdom from the darkness that comes with the Black Moon Clan's beliefs?
Will Wiseman do anything to complicate their lives?
Will Diamond be satisfied by what he already has or will he be thriving for more?
Saphir was locked away in the dungeon not far from Endymion's cell when his brother took his plea for Diamond's reason for treason. Even if he was not brainwashed, he was protected from the decay and despair resulting from the dungeon (to which Endymion wasn't so lucky against), but for all the years that Diamond took control of Crystal Tokyo, his little brother never saw the light of day.
His role in this whole story begins when Neo Queen Serenity, the woman whose fault in this is utterly huge, sees in him a potential ally against their common enemy.
Can Saphir save his brother in time?
RP Sample:- Someone save him from his brother... and himself:
They made it – actually he made it. One of the most beautiful technological creation of their time. It would help with the Dark Crystal energy of course, but it would also allow them to further their plan to its peak. Now, maybe, they could get rid of Wiseman. That man – no – creature had rotten his brother's brains with thoughts that shouldn't be there, with opinions that made almost no sense and changed the wonderful leader that was Diamond in a pathetic whinning mess. A child.
His brother had never been a child. Even when they were young, he was always the older brother, the one that would care for him, watch him and made so that they were both happy, or as much as they could in this dreaded existence they were forced into. Diamond promised the world and could have given it, wasn't it for that Wiseman and his ideas about the Queen and that silver crystal.
As he watched the dark energy of the planet swirling around him, Saphir wondered if there was a way to get his brother back or if Diamond was beyond saving.
Would he have to kill him?
Maybe should he kill her instead. Free his brother from her sorcery.
Yes.
That should do it
Remove the wrong number from the equation and the solution shall fall into place by itself.
He would kill Sailor Moon.
He would kill Neo Queen Serenity.
"Veneti, Aquatici, I have work for you."
The droids floated closer to him and Saphir's smile was one his brother wouldn't have recognized.
