Appearance: She has wavy brown hair in a ponytail with a green hair tie. She always wears pink rose earrings. When she dresses casual, she usually wears pants or shorts and also sometimes dresses. One of her favorite outfits is an orange and pale yellow jersey jacket with a yellow short sleeved undershirt, pale blue pants and sneakers. She is very tall at 5 foot 6 inches. She has green eyes. She also likes to wear her school uniform often.

Personality: She is a tomboyish teenage girl who had got into fights at other schools causing her to be transferred a lot. She feels like she is meant to be alone until she meets Usagi because most people are scared of her and try to avoid her because of the fights. She is a very kind and loyal to her friends. She also seems to fall in love easier. Despite her problems, Makoto is a nice person who enjoys many things like: cooking, gardening, flower arranging,  and handicrafts. She also has dreams to have a happy marriage and own a flower and bakery shop. Like the rest of the senshi, Makoto’s loyalty towards Usagi never faltered.  She is ruled by her heart causing her to sometimes make reckless decisions. Makoto has a very strong sense of justice and wants to protect others who cannot do so themselves. Makoto also is very headstrong and independent. In the beginning Makoto thinks that she is too tomboyish but later on she gets over that as she progresses with Usagi and the others.

History: Makoto Kino is a tomboyish teenage girl who has transferred to Juuban Municipal Junior High School after getting in a fight at her old school. Makoto had lost her parents in a plane accident when she was younger, so now she lives on her own in an apartment. Most people are intimidated be her because of her height, tough appearance, strength, and ability to fight, and she has been kicked out of her previous school due to fighting. She also practices karate in her spare time. Makoto was eating a Bento that she made one day at lunch period when a girl came and sat by her asking about her lunch and other things..that girl was Usagi. Later on she goes to the Crown with Usagi and meets Joe and watches him closely. After Usagi snapped her out of her trance, she tells her, Ami and Rei (The latter two had just arrived) that Joe looks like an old boyfriend of hers. Later on, Zoisite attacks Joe and Makoto tries to save him as Usagi watched her fighting against him. At a restaurant Makoto and Joe are hanging out and Zoisite (posing as a waitress attacked them and started to pursue Joe. Usagi followed an angry Makoto after Zoisite but they found him too late as his crystal had been taken transforming Joe into Gesen. Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and begun to fight Gesen, Makoto saw her as she went and picked Gesen up and threw him. Jupiter’s symbol appeared on Makoto’s forehead as she threw Gesen. Gesen soon caught Sailor Moon and Makoto wanted to save her, thats when Luna threw Makoto the green Transformation Pen and convinced her to shout “Jupiter Power, Make Up!” causing the first transformation in Sailor Jupiter. Gesen attempted to attack her and she begun to chant summoning Thunder and lightning as her lightning rod appeared on her tiara and she used Supreme Thunder for the first time. Luna gave Sailor Moon the Moon Stick and she purified Joe. 

Other Noteworthy Facts: She practices karate. She also likes cooking, gardening, romance novels, flower arranging, video games, shopping and her friends. She doesn’t like cheaters.

Senshi Fuku: Her standard Sailor fuku has dark green as the dominant color (skirt, collar, tiara stone, choker, glove ends, boots and the front brooch). Her front and back bow share the color of pink. Her boots just go a bit over the ankle, have a heel and can be tied with white laces.

-Super Sailor Jupiter Fuku: As Super Sailor Jupiter, she wears an upgraded version of the Sailor Jupiter sailor uniform. The entire uniform is the same. The only things that have changed are the length of her back bow and the shape of the button on her front bow (circle to heart), along with a yellow star added to her choker. His boots are also the same.

RP Sample: Makoto was sleeping in her bed after a long day of fighting. She begun to dream and it quickly turned into a nightmare! She was able to see the plane her parents were on and watched it crash..but this time it happened in slow motion and she could her the yelling and screaming of the passengers and her parents. After the plane hit the ground, she woke up, sitting up in a cold sweat. She then got up and took a shower and tried to go back to bed. She wanted to speak with Ami and Usagi the next day. The very next day Makoto was feeling a bit depressed and sad about what happened in the night and was late for the meeting Rei and the others planned after what had happened recently. Before durning and after the meeting Makoto spoke to each of her friends about the events in her sleep. Usagi wanted her to follow her to the arcade, Ami told her to do something she liked to clear her head and Rei even did a fire reading for her friend. After it all, Makoto felt much better knowing that her friends cared for her and had her back 100% The next weeks had been easier for Makoto, well mostly though..school was still tough for her and she was in the same boat as Usagi most times, begging Ami to either tutor them or even do their homework for them. Makoto could almost never make Ami budge on the homework stuff but was glad her friend would still help her. She sometimes thought about her parents but now..it didn’t bug her the way it did that one night.
