| The past three days, whenever I post somewhere, it automatically watches the topic and my email proceeds to be flooded. Is it a glitch in the system, or did something on my profile itself glitch? |

| My guess is that there was an update which bumped it back to the defaults. I've had the same problem, so I went into my preferences and modified the option for being notified about responses in a thread in which I posted. If that does not work, then there is something wrong with the system. |

| I thought we fixed it yesterday, it seemed like it was going to be okay, but this morning I also had a whole bunch of notification emails LOL |

| We haven't changed anything on our end, but I will take a look and see if there is anything I can see on the admin side. |

You too? I keep getting PM notifications days after I get the actual PM. |

| There isn't a setting on the Admin Panel that allows us to mass change that kind of settings, however I went through the user who have posted on this thread and made sure that their settings are set to not receive notifications of replies.
After doing some research it appears that this is a forumotion problem, and not something that any one did. They have looked into the issue and have recommended that all forums that have this problem refresh their forum's cookies, which I have done.
If you are still having this problem please post here and I will bring the issue up with them as that means it's still not fixed.

| I'm still having the issue. Kind of annoying when you make but one post in a thread and suddenly you're being repeatedly reminded that there are new posts. Not that I blame you folks for it, though. |

It's so weird that you all find it annoying. It's the one thing that reminds me to check forums (since I always have my email up). Honestly if a forum doesn't do that when I'm new to it, I will not stick around just simply because I forget about the place. But to each his own I guess. ^^; |

| Well, the annoyance comes in the form of filling up my inbox. It can make the process of sifting through messages a bit troublesome---especially if I am searching for particularly important e-mails. |

Well there is a link you can click to stop watching a topic so say if its a topic you don't particularly care for just click it? Personally its my way of making sure I don't miss out on posts either. Also depending on your email service there are ways of filtering your email and such. I think gmail has a good way of doing it (though I'm not familiar with it). |

I don't why I didn't notice it before. |

| Its at the very bottom of each thread right above the quick reply area. Its smallish text so that may have been why you didn't see it. ^^ I think there is a way in your profile setigns area to manage your subscribed threads, but I forget. I'll double check it when I'm not about to jump in the shower. lol! |

| Brit - You have a profile setting that makes it so you don't watch any topics you post in, and I've changed all these settings for people who have reported them to me, but it seems that other forums are still having the same problem, I've been watching the help topic to see what our host place has been saying. Nothing much new. |

Yeah, but I guess until they get a fix on that, there is the option to manually unwatch all the topics. |
