In the first anime adaptation, Berthier has a very darkly playful personality, but is shown to have great respect for all of her siblings. She is the only one shown to be upset when Kōan is purified by the Silver Crystal. Much like her counterpart in Ami, she is also a strategist and is incredibly talented at chess, though she apparently also cheats. On her final mission, Berthier plays a game of chess with Ami, but her plan to freeze them fails when Petz and Calaveras arrive and tell her they will take credit for her success. Momentarily distracted, she loses her chance to kill Ami when Mamoru intervenes and rescues her and the other Soldiers. Her two older sisters then leave her as a failure when Berthier turns to them for help. Distraught, Berthier first laughs off her loss, but in a desperate attempt to kill the Sailor Guardians, she uses her Dark Water technique to freeze the arena. However, Kōan persuades her that she is still loved and has a second chance. Berthier allows Usagi to heal her. Later, she and Kōan, along with the Sailor Guardians, are able to convince their other two sisters to join them and become normal women.

Phantoms RP:
There was no Moon Kingdom. There was no Moon Princess, And there was no Silver Crystal. No, in this universe, they did not exist. Instead, there was another kingdom, located on another planet - one that was, in this world, far more valuable than the Moon. This planet was known by the name of Nemesis, ruled by its one and only heir, Princess Esmeraude, who, in turn, is guarded by her four legendary soldiers to prevent all threats from obtaining Nemesis's most cherished possession, the Malefic Black Crystal. Eventually, the neighboring planet's kingdom - one of Nemesis's most valuable partners in trade- begins to become host to an unusual array of attacks, coming from an uprising of their own people who wanted to take over Nemesis. Under Death Phantom's control, the older prince of the kingdom, Prince Demande, agrees to an arranged marriage between himself and Esmeraude. What was once a fake relationship between these people, soon becomes something entirely more.
Berthier is one of the sisters/princesses/senshi/guardians that protect Princess Esmeraude and helps prevent anyone form obtaining the Malefic Black Crystal.

RP Sample: Berthier was supposed to meet with the other guardians and Princess Esmeraude in the meeting room but she overslept. She quickly got dressed and walked out of her room and down the halls towards the meeting room. ‘The others will wonder where I was this time..and I don’t wish to make our Princess mad either..i hope they will understand’ She then got to the doors to the room and opened one and walked in shutting it. She looked at Petz, Calaveras and Koan who didn’t look to happy and then walked up in front of their princess and bowed, “Many apologies everyone..I will not be late again, I promise.”

Powers and Magical Items:
Attack 1: Dark Water: A stream of water surrounds her as she spins around and when she raises her arm, the water rushes out at her enemy.
Attack 2: Ice Storm: She is able to use ice to either freeze an enemy or the walls and floor of a room. This is almost the same movement as Dark Water but for this one when she faces her foe at the end she has her arms up then throws them down in the direction of her foe.
Attack 3/Weapon: Ice daggers: She can make multiple ice daggers in her hands which she can use for up-close combat or they can be thrown as well. (Limit 4 at a time)
