With this new season announced, I'm guessing that Toei is going to be following the same format as it did before, with each episode corresponding to one chapter. Only problem is that there are 12 chapters of Infinity and 13 chapters of Dream. That leaves us with one free episode in the 26 episode season.

Personally, I'm hoping for one (or two combined) of the inner senshi side stories we got in Dream. I know a lot of you want the Princess Kaguya story for obvious reasons (dat Human Luna). What do you guys think?

i just started watching crystal so I'm WAY behind..but that would be cool to see human Luna...

Personally I thought the Princess Kagura story was horribly written so I hope they choose to either do some of the other side stories or something completely new.

I don't know if the 26 episodes will become a standard. They may release a different amount for the next season. Personally I'm hoping it won't contain two arcs like last time at all. Just take their time with it and expand the story. but I would love to see all the side stories, and Sailor V (less likely).

Using the same formula wouldn't necessary mean that there'd have to be exactly 26 new episodes? The original anime certainly didn't have the same amount of episodes in each season.

With only one left, it looks like it could be the Kaguya story if we're getting any of them. T.T

I believe one diary got a special. The vampire one from the SuperS special.

I always thought that the Princess Kaguya was already kind of a "special" because of Sailor Moon S: The movie. The movie was adapted from that manga.

It surely would be great. Most of the side stories are from the Infinity arc. So we could have...

- Chibiusa´s Tanabata.
- Ami´s First Love (Though the original is pretty great)
- Makoto´s Melancholy.
- Rei and Minako´s School Battle.
- Princess Kaguya´s Lover (Though I don´t think it is needed, too)

Indeed. The dentist story also was there, but the manga version is way funnier.

I would love to some sort of special for V-chan.  I would love to see her "birth" in a side story.

Yeah we had the dentist as an episode in Supers, but we also had a special with the vampire story. It was part of those 3 SuperS specials (where one is like a flash backthing, one is about Haru/Michi and the other the vampire short story).

I would really love to see the specials again. Chibiusa's diaries are fun and it would be interesting to see a spin on Kaguya again, though it would be really hard to live up to the S movie.


As far as the actual layout of this next season, the chapters in Infinity are very very long (we just pretty much finished reading it for the SM manga club and i had forgotten how long each Act was). Much longer than the ones from the first two arcs, so I'm not sure if we'll have the 2 arcs in one season like we did. But its all up to speculation now I guess.

Some new original stories would be really cool. I'd personally love to see animated adaptations of the Myu original stories (The Legend of Kaguya Island and the Dracul Series). Or as mentioned, a Sailor V special.

I would love if they did a Sailor V spin off once Crystal is completed.
