Plot Summary: Usagi Tsukino was an ordinary girl, until she discovered she had the power to kill vampires. She is called the Slayer. Usagi has transferred schools. She has gone to the library to get her texbooks and meets Luna, a mild mannered librarian who knows a lot about demons. She is Usagi's watcher, charged with helping Usagi learn how to defeat demons and teach her how to fight. During her first day she meets a group of people who become her best friends. Rei Hino: a girl who has mysterious psychic powers, Ami Mizuno: the smartest girl in school who Usagi asks to tutor her, Makoto Kino: a tall athletic girl who likes to bake, and Minako Aino: A girl who also has slayer powers. With Minako is her watcher Artemis who helps Luna in an attempt to train the girls. Usagi also meets a mysterious man named Mamoru Chiba who helps her on her quest to defeat demons.

In Tokyo there is a dark power rising, that power is the power of Queen Metalia, the master of all vampires, the oldest one. With the help of her favorite vampire, Beryl, she sends vampires to help release her from her prison under the city. Beryl was the one who turned Mamoru, so she is very attached to him and wants him for herself, but Mamoru has no feelings for her at all. Beryl uses her stronger vampire brethren Nephrite, Jadeite, Kunzite, and Zoisite to create mayhem in Tokyo with the hope to gain enough blood to free Queen Metalia.

Usagi is a Slayer, Minako is a slayer, Rei is a human with psychic powers, Ami starts off human, but becomes a witch later, Makoto is a human, but she can kick butt. Mamoru is a vampire with a soul, much like Angel in the series, but Usagi and Mamoru stay together.

Details on any necessary information:
This RP belongs in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. Because of this, everyone will have to play by the rules of that universe. You don't have to know everything about the show or it's universe as long as you're willing to take time to get familiar with how this world is. The senshi are on the first year of high school, not having met each other up until that point. They still retain the basic core of their personalities, but they aren't senshi anymore.

Restrictions: Only the inner senshi, Usagi, Mamoru, and the Dark Kingdom characters please.

It was her first day of school and Usagi was not sure if she was ready. Things had changed so much since the last school year. At her old school Usagi had been a super popular cheerleader with tons of friends, but halfway through the year she'd started getting strange dreams that lead her to becoming what was known as "the slayer". From then she split off from her friends and ended up destroying her school's gym. So she got kicked out of school, her parents divorced, and she and her mother moved to Tokyo for her new school. Things were going to be so different and she hoped she wouldn't have to worry about being the Slayer.

Her mom dropped her off at school and she listened to her mom tell her again, "Don't get kicked out of this school." Usagi could tell her mother was worried, but she just nodded her head at her mother and left the car. She walked towards the school and tried to find her way around.

Luna was preparing for the day. She knew today was the day that the Slayer would come to the school. She had been preparing for this for almost her whole life. Her first slayer, she would train this girl and watch over her while she was tasked to defeat vampires and demons. Part of her knew that nothing she had done over these past years was actually going to prepare her for being this girl's watcher, but she had to hope that she lived up to her job description. She prepared some books from her personal study to give to the girl when she came to seek her out.

Another school day had begun and Makoto walked towards the gym, ready for the PE lesson. What they would do today? Excitedly she woke up in the morning, already with the thought in mind that she could finally do sports again. Though it wasn’t more than three days ago, Makoto still missed the feeling of exercise, adrenaline and exertion.

Finally arrived at the gym, she quickly changed clothes until she eventually entered the gym hall, finding a basketball in front of her. Basketball!
Basketball was one of her favorite sports, considering that it was the sport for tall people. As the teacher entered the hall, she waited impatiently for her to start the lesson, so that she could finally do some exercise again.

“Okay, ladies,” the teacher started after finishing her salutation. “We’ll warm up now for ten minutes and after that you split into four groups á five players.”

With excitement Makoto nodded and eventually got up, warming herself up to get the game started.

After centuries of existence, one would think they would get tired of high school.

Mamoru had to admit - high school was a bore and there wasn't any more knowledge he could gain. He actually considered not going this year, and maybe entering college or something like that. But some part of him told him to attend one final time.

So he did. And now he was driving to school, dreading the boring first day but resisting the urge to turn around and stay home. He hadn't fed in quite a few days, so his temper was a little shorter than usual, but he would be able to hold out.

Pulling in to his regular parking spot, Mamoru exited his car and ignored the frivolous girls who giggled as he passed. High school girls were always the same - they never changed. For once, all he wanted was someone to come into his life that could disrupt the status quo and give him a reason to look forward to each day.

Minako approached the school with a sigh. Another summer passed, another boring school year started. She hated going to school, as most teenagers did, but it was even worse being the new kid. She had spent all summer packing and moving her things in to her Aunt's house, and then unpacking them. It was a tedious task, but thankfully she ended up being much happier living here than at her parent's house. Maybe without her mother's constant nagging, she could concentrate on school and get good grades. It was a pretty long stretch to believe such things as she was never all that great at school subjects, but maybe now was the time for change!

Mina sighed, allowing herself a few more moments of sulking, before putting a smile on her face as she walked up the steps to the main entrance. Even though she wasn't happy at all to be back at school, she was determined to not allow that to show. She preferred to think on the bright side of things, which was that this was an all new start, with all new teachers and peers. She could be anything she wanted to be since none of them knew her anyway. Maybe she'd join a sports team!

She quickly made her way down the short corridor to the school's office.The Principal had wanted to see her first thing in the morning to talk to her and 'get to know her'. She didn't really know what that meant to be honest, but she assumed it was something about her transcripts and how she had really low grades in almost every subject. She smiled at the secretary, as she sat herself in one of the few plastic office chairs, and waited for the Principal to arrive.

Usagi finally found her way to the main office and got her class schedule and everything. Now she was going to have to find her way around the school building. She started walking confused around the building trying to find her locker. She finally found it and tried to open it. Unfortunately the combination wasn't working. She was trying it every way possible and she couldn't get it to work. Usagi was getting really frustrated. Maybe there's a trick to getting this open? Usagi thought. She looked around to see if there was anyone who could maybe help her, but she didn't see anyone.

“Okay girls, this was a good game,” her eventually teacher said, finishing the lesson. “Now go change your clothes, so that you won’t be late to your next class.”

Triumphantly Makoto did how she was told, walking into the changing room and put on her regular clothes again.
“See you in math class,” she shouted contentedly to her friend and partner before leaving the room and heading to class.

24 – 4, what a good game. And this even though we had that unathletic girl in our team. Maybe we can be even better if we put her in the defense next time. I could change positions with her and...
Deep in thoughts, she didn’t pay attention to her environment, causing her to run into a small blond with two odangos.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry,” she said as she realized what happened. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you? Here, wait, I’ll help you!” Reaching her hand for her, Makoto offered to help her to get up again.

“I think I never saw you here before – are you new here?”

Usagi was at her locker when suddenly a really tall brunette ran into her. She fell over, that didn't happen to her very often, this was kind of ending up to be a bad day. Usagi hoped that'd change as she looked up at the girl who offered her a hand to help her get up. "It's okay. I'm fine. You were probably caught up in your thoughts. Thanks." Usagi said as the girl helped her to her feet. She heard the girl ask her if she was new. "Oh um... yes I just transferred here. I'm Usagi Tsukino, nice to meet you." Usagi said to the girl, "I know we just met and all, but would you be able to help me get my locker open? I've been struggling with it for the last five minutes or so. Is there a trick to getting it open or something?"

Glad that the small blonde accepted her offer after running into her, Makoto shook her hand before letting it go. “It’s nice to meet you, too,” she answered to the girl’s introduction, a friendly smile on her face. “I’m Makoto. Makoto Kino. Or just Mako for you.”

Then her hand slowly left hers, her smile fading and her eyes wandering to the locker the girl was talking about. “Ah yeah, I see,” she muttered, slightly frowning.

“It’s really a shame how our school welcomes you,” she said playfully, smiling once more at her in hopes to make her feel more comfortable. “You got a defective locker…this is why it doesn't open.”
Remembering how former students already struggled with the locker, Makoto gently tried to push the blonde away, telling her that she should keep distance from the locker for a few moments.

And then it happened. The athletic brunette shifted into an aggressive position, her arms lifted and her body in a right angle to the locker. “Give me one second,” she said decisively at the end before she threw herself towards the locker with all her strength.
“There we go,” she smiled at Usagi again, triumphantly about her newest success. “You should go to the caretaker and let him repair it…well, unless you want me to open it all the time.”

Mamoru entered the school, his arms swaying at his sides as he went. His plan was to just head straight to class without speaking with anyone, but a head of blonde hair caught his eye and made him stop. From across the hallway, Mamoru watched as the unfamiliar girl struggled to open her locker. A small smile played at his lips at her frustration, and he was about to help her when another girl ran into her. He recognized this girl as Makoto Kino, the strongest girl in the school and the top sports athlete in the district.

Resisting the urge to help the blonde, Mamoru watched from afar as Makoto apologized and helped the other girl with her locker. He couldn't keep his eyes off of the blonde. Her innocent beauty was breathtaking, and she had the brightest blue eyes he had ever seen. He felt the need to be near her, to protect her.

Realizing what he was thinking, Mamoru shook the thoughts from his head and continued down the hallway towards his first class.

"It's nice to meet you Mako!" Usagi said happily. Usagi watched as the girl forcefully opened her locker. Usagi could've done that herself. Mako was right though, she should find the caretaker later to get it fixed. "Thanks Mako!" Usagi said, "I'll talk to the caretaker later on today. What classes do you have? It'd be nice to have a friend in class."

Usagi gathered her stuff so that she could get ready to go to her first class. Maybe she'd be lucky and Mako would have a class with her. Maybe she'd be lucky and she could be a normal student and not worry about Slayer things. After she got her stuff she made a mental note that she'd have to stop by the library for her class books.

"I have math class now if I'm not mistaken," she said with a smile as she answered her question. "And after that...I think it was English."
She nodded at her. It would really be good for her if she had someone she knew around. After all, she remembered her first day at this school only too well. People could be cruel.

Turning around to consult the watch, Makoto virtually jumped up as she saw how late it was. "Oh my goodness, I totally forgot about the time!" Quickly grabbing the bag she put to the ground before, she flicked it over her shoulder and started running.
"See you at lunch break," she shouted, already several meters away from the girl. "I'll meet you at the cafeteria if we don't have any classes before!"

With these words said, the tall brunette disappeared out of her sight, turning the corner and running upstairs.

Beryl had spent the previous night planning an attack. To free Metalia they needed more blood and she needed more vampires to do that. The night before she had found a particularly tasty teenage boy to snack on. She'd lured him to the school and fed on him after she was sure no one was around. Then she left after stuffing him in a locker in the girl's locker room. It would be fun when he woke up in the middle of the night at the school. Particularly if there was an event going on. She'd go back at sundown.

OOC:

"Yes I'll see you at lunch. I have English class first and then History. At least that's what it looks like on my schedule." Before she could finish, Mako was gone and heading to class. Usagi would have to start looking around to find her English class. Luckily class rooms seemed to be easier to find than lockers. She got into her classroom and the teacher had her introduce herself. "Hi." She said to the class, "My name is Tsukino, Usagi. Nice to meet you!" Usagi said. She then found the nearest seat and sat down preparing for class, without having anything she needed.

With heavy breathing and rumpled hair, Makoto entered the room, meeting the not too pleased eyes of her math teacher.
"Kino-san!," he started reproaching her, frowning at the tall brunette and already prepared to give her an hour's detention for her delay. "I'm tired of your-"

"I know, I know, I'm so sorry!" Slightly bowing down to him, Makoto hoped to get away with it, clinging to the thought that he maybe had a good day. "It won't happen ever again, Sir! Big promise!"
Before she could give him a chance to continue and to give her the punishment, she quickly rushed to her place and sat down, putting the stuff she needed on her desk like an exemplary student.

He sighed. She's got a nerve!
Not in the mood to yell around and to bar himself from starting the lesson, however, he eventually decided to just sit down and to start talking about his topic before the lesson was over.
"Okay, so last lesson we talked about the sine rule, right? Let's..."

Thank goodness!
With relief she breathed out, settling back into her chair before she started to act as if she was interested in the lesson.

"I'm tired of your-"
What was that supposed to mean, anyway? It sounded as if she was late every single day.

It was time again for another day of school and Ami was ready. She was dressed and out to the school 10 minutes before most everyone else. She went in, not paying to much attention to some of the people who she knew didn't like her because she was so smart. Also, there were a couple of guys that had been trying to get her to tutor them but Ami kept saying no. She got to her locker and put her stuff away and locked it going straight to her 1st period Math class. She went to her front row seat and and waited to learn. She watched as another student ran in late and sat down, but still she payed attention to the teacher and didn't want to be distracted.

Mamoru almost choked on air when the same blonde he had taken a liking to entered his first period class, introducing herself as Usagi. He averted her eyes from her as she took a seat...right next to him.

He risked a glance over, noticing that she didn't seem to have any supplies. The teacher of this class was nice and all, but she would tear Usagi apart if she found out she didn't have all of the things the class required. With a gentle smile, Mamoru took a few pieces of paper and a pencil and handed them to her. "Here, you'll need this," he said. "Wouldn't want you getting in trouble on your first day, right?"

Usagi sat down and looked over to see a gorgeous guy sitting next to her. My day actually seems to be going well. She Thought. No monsters, a new friend, a cute boy near me, maybe things are actually looking up in this town, maybe I can live a normal life. She smiled, and then he spoke to her. He seemed so sweet, giving her some supplies, she was clearly not prepared for her first day. "Thanks." Usagi said, "I just moved so I haven't had the chance to get supplies. Um... any idea where I can get a text book here and maybe someone to help me study? I'm a little behind on school."
