I saw this image recently and it got me thinking


wouldn't it be fun to image Sailor Moon in another universe? We already do this a lot in the RP section, but I wanted to brainstorm up some fun mashups (either with SM characters in their world, or other characters in the SM world) and debate which one is the best and why!

So far I thought up a few:

• Sherlock Holmes (Luna would make a great Watson!)
  
• Phoenix Wright (objection, Negaverse!)
  
• Pride & Prejudice (come on, Tuxedo as Darcy? Perfection!!)
  
• My Little Pony (it's such a perfect fit with Moon as Twilight Sparkle)
  

Any other thoughts for cool mash ups? Which do you like the best? Why? And what characters would you have playing which roles?

hmm well i don't know if this counts but since my friend PoetofMercury is doing a steampunk rp...what about a steampunk type world??

How about a crossover with marvel, or them fighting alongside other magical girls from other series? That'd be neat.

These all sound great. And of course I am partial to Steampunk. ^^

But seriously, I just saw the second Maze Runner movie. Someone needs to do a SM crossover of that series with senshi AND shittennou. ^^

I am with Poet or perhaps Star trek/star wars  or even Doctor Who. Now that would be cool.

Not to mention there are perfect techniques for Usagi to use, like Bouncing Rabbit. There´s one perfect for Minako, but now I don´t recall the name... But it´s kinda like Rolling Heart Vibration.

Hello! 2ND POST! I like the a combo of Sailor Moon and Final Fantasy. I'm trying to write a fanfiction that has Sailor Moon based in the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Struggling though. 

i think a 1920s sailor moon would be soo cute.

To be honest, Sailor Moon was one of those series I had difficulty imagining in other places, but would imagine people/characters in other fandoms/places becoming senshi themselves.

Like I could never put Usagi in someone's place, but could imagine someone in place of Usagi, you know?

Am I the only one who does this?

Yeah, same here. Like, for the Legend of Zelda, it would be like Zelda in Usagi's place.(though Link as the Senshi type figure and Zelda as Shiek in Tuxedo Mask's role would be interesting, but I digress).

Out of all of these I really loved the Steven Universe and My Little Pony ones best. Princess Luna as a senshi - omg I loveeeee it. I'm thinking about changing my avatar to that fan art I like it so much XD.

I also REALLY love the gems as the outers. Garnet is so perfect as Pluto (I mean garnet rod, helloooo, duh). and Steven as chibi moon! Augh and Pearl with the space sword is SO GREAT. Something about Amethyst as Neptune is amazing too. Augh, I just love this whole thing lol.

What if we could see the cast in the world of Osamu Tezuka's beloved and classic "Ribon no Kishi/Princess Knight"? Princess Sapphire was a refined tomboy who was skilled with swords and fought crime at night in the kingdom of Silverland as the Phantom Knight. She would probably get along so well with everyone.

(PS: "Ribon no Kishi" is up for a musical and holycrap the costumes look amaaaaazing!)

I would also love to see the cast partnered with a creation of Go Nagai, "Cutie Honey." She wasn't the first magical girl, but so many things in her series laid down the tropes for the magical girls to come after her: a transformation trinket and phrase, a disguised form/secret identity, using weapons that become available after she transforms, going up against primarily female antagonists, and who knows what else.

Weeeelllll.... The Nineties anime wasn't entirely innocent either. :-P (Hey, at least I didn't say I wanted to see 'em in "Kekko Kamen" or "Violence Jack." XD)

We should totally try something like this! Maybe I'll put up the idea in the RP brainstorming thread. Looks like there is some interest. Although, I dunno if I want to run it, so if anyone else wahts to take charge of it I'd totally be OK with that. ^^

I once saw a Sailor Moon fanart with the characters set in the Taisho era of Japan (1912-1926). I really liked the costumes from that era, with an interesting blend of Japanese and Western fashion, so it would be fun thinking about how things would've worked out in different periods of Japanese history.
