Appearance:
 
Standing at 5’8”, Panacea looks, despite her skinny body, still feminine and elegant with well proportioned curves and long legs. She has bright blue eyes and wavy, light blonde - almost white - hair with a light blue gradient. Most of the time she wears it loose with a Frech plait braided over her head, going from one ear to the other one.
Her heart-shaped face is framed by two strands of hair, one at each side, coming from the middle parting right above her forehead.

Most of the time, the blond woman wears the same attire, consisting of a dark blue bikini top and a cream-colored long skirt with cutouts on the left and right. Her bikini top, however, is covered by a teal wraparound garment as well as a floor-length, teal cloak with cream-colored embellishments.
And even though her parents yell at her over and over again, Panacea doesn't even think of wearing shoes. To her it gives a feeling of freedom to run barefoot.

Personality:
When someone asks her, Panacea's answer will be short and cold, most of the time with less than five words and without even eye contact. Unfortunately, due to this, she often appears stubborn, ignorant and rude with her attention directed to no one but herself. However, actually she can be very dependable and loyal, even willing to make sacrifices. This side is only unknown to most people because she only shows these traits to people who she thinks are worthy. People who fight for the things they love, who never give up and are persistent – those people gain her greatest respect and thus she is also willing to show her loyalty to them and to support them, even if she doesn’t always show her esteem.
 
Since she is materialistic herself, Panacea has problems with idealists and people who believe in superstitious things that aren’t proved. She only believes in things she sees with her own eyes and which she knows are proven – miracles and fate are things she has a low opinion of.
However, she shows herself permissive. As long as the people don’t harm her in any way, be it physical or mental, she lets everyone believe what they want to believe and leaves them alone. In her opinion, an ethnical group or a religion doesn’t matter and are in no way a reason to start arguments or wars. She judges people after their personality and after their behavior.
 
Being generous and helpful, though it doesn’t show often, Panacea dislikes avaricious people more than anything else and can’t stand it when people are not willing to share and only please their own needs. The same thing also goes for people who discriminate others or who look down on someone else. When coming across against those people, Panacea is also willing to fight for the concerned persons and to speak up and confront the person with it.

However, most of the time, she keeps her cold personality, being as disinterested as possible, so that she only intervenes when it's really necessary.
Even during fights she acts cold, though in her head, she might be completely rattled at that time.

Her dream is it to be independent and free one day, able to travel to every place in the world without needing to ask someone and without being bound to anything.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Panacea is able to use the Balanced Magic - to be more precise, every magic that is focused on the mind and soul. Due to this she is also able to sense other users of Balanced Magic and to heal quicker than other mages. Also, she is more resistent to sicknesses and diseases and has a better self-control than most people.

In combat, Panacea mostly fights with hands and feet, using several throws and takedowns to defeat an enemy.
 
History: Born in the west of the Lunar Continent, Panacea grew up in an affluent doctor family with abodes on every continent. She was the oldest of three children, however, as time went by, her two siblings died, one because of an attacking creature and the other one because of an incurable disease.

Her parents always held the opinion that only the strong survive and so, the tall blonde was always on her own, forced to deal with problems and issues herself. This is why she learned - other than mastering her magical abilities - fighting; and this already at an age of five. In the old books of her parents she often read about fighting techniques and martial arts people practiced before the apocalypse. With the help of it, she learned approximately 14 different kinds of martial arts, offensive as well as defensive ones.
However, since this was nothing but theory, Panacea never got any experiences until she came across a creature one day as she walked through the forests. The injuries she got from the fight were life-threatening and from the attack back then, she also got many scars and lifelong damages on her back. Panacea herself, however, saw and still sees it as a good experience that only made her stronger according to the motto: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Eventually Panacea was forced to move to the Solar Continent because of her parents' redeployment. And despite she didn't really care about it, it bothered her to always follow her parents, to be bound to them and to go wherever they wanted to go. This was the moment when her wish to be free got stronger and stronger.
Over the time Panacea often escaped, travelling on her own and getting new experiences.
But even though her parents always wanted her to be independent and autonomous, they slowly got annoyed by her behavior until her father eventually forced her to join one of the guilds, so that she could never leave again. Now that she always needed to attend to the meetings and to go on expeditions, Panacea had no other choice than staying in her hometown and to do how she was told.
And because of that constraint, she also appears disinterested nowadays and acts stubborn as soon as someone isn't of her opinion.

Other Noteworthy Facts: Despite being not very religious, Panacea managed it, to everyone's surprise, to master the Balanced Magic when she became a mage. And even though her personal Yin is stronger than her Yang, her physical power shouldn't be underestimated either.

While living in her hometown back then on the Lunar Continent, Panacea was also known under the alias "Panacea Venusta" (lat. venusta = beautiful; panacea venusta = Panacea, the beauty).

Storyline Specific Information: [Advanced] New Earth: After the world's balance was disrupted and regained again, the continents and oceans resettled into new shapes. The dregs of humanity and animal kind left were forever changed, given the gift of magic. Civilization slowly reformed again, a hybrid of the older societies of countries shoved together to create cities, nations, and then empires. The power of magic and a new Astronomy based religion was explored, and humans flourished alongside the multiple other now sentient species. Now in 1900 A.A. (After Apocalypse), society has reached a Neo-Victorian age. Magic has been fused with the leftover designs of older technology, and new inventions are created every day alongside new magical spells. 

However, this is also an age of deeper exploration. New Earth is still a mysterious place, and many young mages and even average explorers of all walks of life want to discover something new. To sate that need, guilds have opened up for people to join, and expeditions to find great secrets and treasures have started to launch. One such guild, a more history focused one that Panacea joined, wants to find the ruins of a great city from before the apocalypse. However, though a great artifact is waiting for her, Panacea is rather disinterested in the whole mission, preferring to go somewhere she would like to go herself instead of following the group. When getting to know the others, she'll mostly react cold and avoid talking.
 
RP Sample:

Standing in her room in front of her mirror, Panacea was getting ready for her day and put her clothes on, suddenly noticing the sharp pain in her back, coming from near the scapula. Her face screw up, her eyes were squinted and her forefinger and thumb were pinching her other arm in hopes to compensate the pain. God, just why was it hurting so much?
 
Already assuming what it could be, the tall blonde turned around, checking the place the pain was coming from. And indeed, she was right.
Seeing her body’s back in the mirror, Panacea found her left hand on the fair scar running across the upper half of her back.
 
She smiled. It was funny...Funny how her past caught up with her over and over again.
It has been ten years now - and still she got reminded of that accident every single time the weather changed again.
 
With the smile slowly fading, Panacea turned around again and brought the little box on her desk into focus, getting the tube of ointment out of the box and covered her skin with it.


At least there was one good thing about your parents being doctors…
