Plot Summary:
A few months after the events that caused Usagi to ascend the throne as Neo Queen Serenity, Sailor’s Soul and Oberon are sent on their first diplomatic mission. It was supposed to be an easy mission, but everything kept going wrong. First, as they were passing by a planet on the outer reaches of Neo Queens’s solar system, Sailor Soul’s senshi wings suddenly stopped working, causing her to plummet to the ground.

Miraculously, she wasn’t injured much, having had time to call for spirits aids to help her, but she came out of the fall with a badly twisted ankle and broken arm. Even on the planets surface, Soul cannot use her Sailor Wings, leaving her stranded.

Too heavy for Oberon to carry her, and with Oberon unwilling to leave Soul, the pair must make their way to the planet’s defensive outpost, where they would find shelter and a communication system to call for aid.

Details on any necessary information: With Murphy’s Law everything that can go wrong, will go wrong and on this mission is does. The point of the RP is to explore the funny, silly can go wrong will go wrong that help Soul and Oberon form a strong, close and lasting friendship.

Even though it had been months, the fact that Usagi, the clumsy, but lovable girl she knew was now the leader of Earth and their entire Solar System. Sometimes she was unable to reconcile the girl she knew to the woman and leader that Usagi had become; it was sometimes such a stark difference, but peaks of the old Usagi came through on occasion.

As the Queen of her own planet and Moon, Soul was allied to Neo Queen Serenity's court, although she had been reborn on Earth so she in that respect fell under the Queen jurisdiction...it sometimes became a mess, but for Amina, it didn't matter. Her people were long gone, her planet dead, having been destroyed by Sailor Saturn when she destroyed the Silver Millennium. She had hopes of being able to bring life, even if it was just plants back to her Orcus and its moon Vanth. 

For now, she was content to be the Queen's ally and help protect their solar system, and lending aid diplomatically to other planets in other systems as required. She never thought herself to be a diplomat, but perhaps her years as a teacher had helped her learn a thing or two.

Looking back at her companion, Sailor Oberon - a senshi that had appeared after Neo Queen Serenity had ascended, a lot of that had been happening, Soul had to wonder if the Queens ascension had awoken dormant Sailor Crystals in their system- she contemplated their current mission. 

They were being sent to a nearby system in order to aid a newly awakened senshi bring peace to her planet. As they neared a trans-neptunial object, who's orbit was on the outer reaches the Solar System, she began to get the feeling that something was wrong. Shaking her head, being unable to sense anything, she kept going. If there was an enemy nearby, she would have sensed it. 

The feeling of uneasiness continued to haunt her as they flew silently through the cold reaches of space. As she flew over the trans-neptunial object in order to save time rather than go around it, the bad feeling she had been having intensified to the point where she could no longer take it. Stopping in her tracks, she looked around. What was going on? She wasn't sensing an enemy, but she was uneasy. 

"Sailor Oberon, do you feel-" her eyes widened in horror, her words cut off as she realized her Sailor Wings suddenly vanished without her consent, the gravity of the trans-neptunial object instantly dragging her down, plummeting towards the planet. The scream that ripped from her throat was instinctual, something that she couldn't have stopped even if she wanted to. 

It didn't take her long to realize that she was going to fast, the air around her burning up as she broke the TNO's atmosphere. 

Please if there are any spirits listening HELP ME! She needed to slow down, otherwise she wouldn't survive the impact with the planet. 

She never would figure out what spirit was kind enough to help her, but she felt herself slowing down, enough to survive but not enough to be uninjured. She braced herself as the trees below came rushing towards her. 

Crashing through the trees she felt her right arm slam against a tree branch, the white hot pain stopping her from crying out in pain. She landed painfully on the ground, legs first, feeling her ankle twisting. Her momentum kept her going, rolling until she finally came to a stop on the ground, her consciousness slowly fading from her.

Neo Queen Serenity's coronation had changed him. He wasn't sure yet if it was a good thing or not, but this form came with advantages he couldn't ignore and now that the moon family once again rose to power, he offered his service. The decision came naturally, but there was more than a desire to help behind his allegiance. There was also a profound guilt. One that came from a time not many remembered anymore but he couldn't forget any of it. Any of the minds he felt dying on the moon as he fled to save his own life when he understood there was no victory ahead for them. It was to flee or to die. He chose to live.

When he was mixed with someone else for a mission, he wasn't sure he liked the idea of having someone else around that could get hurt whether it was his fault or not. He had been in charge of other teams since he arrived on Earth, but that simply added to his discomfort. He preferred working alone. He wanted to work alone.

He went anyway. He didn't really know this Sailor Soul, though maybe they had crossed each other's path during their time on Crystal Tokyo, so he wasn't aware of her strengths, weaknesses, and usefulness. He didn't know if they would be able to work together as a team or if their personalities would clash.

Sailor Oberon do you feel --

Sometimes detours were a good idea was the quick thought that crossed his mind before he plunged behind the falling senshi, his wings carrying him forward at great speed. He followed her course down, hoping she wouldn't collide with the ground at this speed. She wouldn't survive it. His heart leaped in his throat when a remnant of an ancient panic took him.

He landed brutally on both feet, the impact vibrating through his legs as he ran to the spot he had last seen her disappeared into the trees.

"Soul!"

He called and there she was, further away from him. He kept running, then crouched down to her level.

"Soul, can you hear me?"

Well that started their mission with a bang, didn't it? A small drop of rain fell on his hand and a soft series of foreign words came out of his mouth. The gentleness of it probably couldn't reveal that the fae King was actually cursing.

Groaning, she finally returned to consciousness, wanting nothing more than to return to the blissful darkness where nothing hurt. She could feel every inch of her body aching, some parts more than others. Attempting to sit up, she went to use her broken arm only to scream in pain as she put her weight on it.

Soul's scream brought dread to his mind and he tried his best not to touch her, hovering over her with concern.

He could have cast a shield on her. He should have.
The blue senshi pressed his lips together, wings beating at their usual speed behind him.

"Are you hurt anywhere else? I could carry you to a cave I have seen nearby while we inspect your injuries. It is unsafe to keep to this position while we know little about our surroundings."

He suggested, looking around them for any predators or foes while Soul made her decision.

She pursed her lips as she gave herself a mental check, laying back on the ground in order to not aggravate her arm any further. She could feel her her right ankle throbbing in pain, not nearly as bad as her left arm, which was most likely broken. 

"I think my ankles sprained," she admitted softly. Honestly, what kind of senshi was she? She was this badly injured and she hadn't even been in a fight. She should have been able to do something to slow her fall. What use were her powers?

Soul felt tears of frustration gather, threatening to spill over. She felt utterly helpless and useless, hating having to rely on someone else for help. It had taken her a long time to learn to trust, accept and ask for Ganymede's help when she needed it.

"Alright."

He carefully took her in his arms, trying not to hurt her too much, but not treating her as if she was a fragile thing. He wasn't actually comfortable to have that level of proximity with someone else than his wife, but it was urgent enough. His discomfort was not as important as making sure Soul wouldn't on top of everything be attacked while she healed. It was strange to carry someone in this body that was still slightly foreign to him, but his natural strength seemed to help despite the difference in built.

"What worries me is the reason why your wings acted like this. Is it the atmosphere and if so how? Mine work perfectly." But his were natural and not linked to the power of the senshi he had become. Not that he made the connection. His entire people had wings.

He was speaking as if he wasn't actually carrying her, casual, but polite, the soft and low voice of this body calming. He floated for a moment, then finally took off, looking around for the cave he thought he had seen earlier.

"There it is..."

He headed in that direction.

"We should be there in mere minutes. I apologize for any discomfort."

Oberon had a point. Why had her wings acted like that? She didn't sense anything wrong with her magic, but at the same time, her wings were gone. 

"My wings are a part of my senshi outfit, I don't understand why they aren't there anymore." She had never heard of this happening to a senshi before. If they were injured enough they would lose their transformation completely, but never a part of it. 

'It's fine," she responded. She was in a lot of pain, and there was nothing that could be done for it at the moment, although she did appreciate Oberon's attempt at keeping her comfortable.

He hummed pensively.

"My wings are a part of me, whether I am transformed or not, they are inherent to my species genes. Perhaps it is why you lost yours? If it is indeed the reason, it is still rather concerning since you remain in uniform."

He landed at the entrance of the cavern, a translucent bubble surrounding them as he entered the cave. Better safe than sorry and with Soul wounded, he preferred to make sure it wouldn't be made worse by anything else.

It seemed empty however and relief coursed through him as the bubble disappeared. He slowly put his teammate down, careful not to worsen her state himself.

"We will need to eat soon, or I do believe you will. I can live without food for longer than most humans. Unless I am faulty in my assumption of you being a humanoid form of life?"
