Appearance: Syra has a rather tanned complexion, as if she'd spent hours out in the sun. Her hair, which is curly and medium-length, is a burnt orange color and somewhat thick. Her eyes are dark red, a key giveaway to her Martian heritage (even though the girl resides on Uranus). Her height is 5'6".
Syra mostly favors practical clothing, such as t-shirts, long cargo pants, and boots perfect for working in a metal shop. Often she can be found covered with dirt or dust or whatever she's been working with. Cuts from working with tools are not all that uncommon, either. However, she will not say no to the occasional fancy dress. She prefers to don warm or earth palettes, her favorite color to wear being orange, like her hair, and purple.
Personality: Eternally curious, Syra loves to learn, especially how stuff works. What makes this wheel turn? How are these weapons made? Of course, she's fascinated by technology and mechanical engineering. She's smart, innovative, and a quick learner. In addition, she also has a temper which means that she'll blow up at someone if they annoy her for too long, or insult her passions. Syra is the type to dismantle something only to put it back together, and before she became a Senshi, she liked to hang out in her father's workplace (her father was a blacksmith and made armor and weapons).

She knows a thing or two about engineering, and she can build stuff like weapons or gadgets if it is needed and if she has the materials to do it.
 
History: While Syra looks to be of Martian heritage, her family has been living on Uranus since before the destruction of Mars. Her family runs a successful weapons and mechanics shop. Syra herself was an only child, and her mother died at age three, so she spent most of her time with her father in the shop. She has lived mostly a simple life, growing up learning about technology, gadgets, and mechanics. She herself picked up a few tricks along the way, and prides herself in her skill and resourcefulness.

Storyline Specific Information: 
Solar Prominence: The Sun has expanded outward, engulfing and destroying the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars and all of their respective satellites. A new ruler has risen to power, Queen Sol, the Empress of the Sun, promising continued peace and prosperity to the dying Solar System. In this distant future, Sailor Soldiers are a thing of the past.

Unbeknownst to the galaxy’s populace, Queen Sol is none other than the Sailor Soldiers' greatest enemy: Chaos. In manipulating the power of the Sun, Chaos has been able to obtain the Mercury, Venus, Mars, and the Golden (Earth) Crystals. Fortunately, she has failed in capturing the Silver Crystal.

In order to obtain the most coveted Crystal, the Crystal she has spent lifetimes trying to steal, the Sun Empress has created two shadow-forms: die Sterne, Morgen and Abend. With these shadow-forms, Queen Sol is able to to scour the galaxy for the Silver Crystal without ever having to leave her palace.

During her hunt for the Silver Crystal, Queen Sol captured Sailor Pluto, but hasn’t been able to extract the Pluto Crystal from the Guardian of Time. As a result, the Queen put Pluto in stasis to keep the Last Soldier from tinkering with her plans.

Banished and outlawed by the Queen, Sailor Cosmos is left to search the stars alone to find the Sailor Crystals (including the Silver Crystal) that remain. The Sailor Crystals of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are hidden somewhere on the remaining colonized planets. She does not yet know where the missing Silver Crystal may be. To assist her in this quest, Sailor Cosmos seeks sailor soldiers from the surviving minor planets of the Solar System. They are less powerful than the original sailor soldiers, but she cannot complete her mission alone.

Sailor Cosmos must find the missing Crystals, and reclaim the ones that Queen Sol has taken, before the new ruler can absorb all of the power of the sailor soldiers from the Solar System and complete her takeover.


Syra herself is still living in her father's shop as this takes place.

Senshi Name: Sailor Ixion

Henshin/Transformation Phrase: "Ixion Power, Make Up!"
Senshi Fuku: Sailor Ixion's primary color is burnt orange, while her secondary color is bright scarlet. Her fuku consists of a long-sleeved white shirt with a burnt orange sailor collar. The sailor collar has white arrowhead decoration at the narrowest fold of the collar in the front of the uniform. Along the edge is a single white stripe. The back of the sailor collar has an angled upside-down v-shaped edge. Fitted into each of the outer corners is a silver arrowhead design. On the white sleeves, at the upper area of each arm, is an upside-down v-shaped insignia in burnt orange. The folded back cuffs of the long sleeves mimic the sailor collar: burnt orange, with a thin white stripe along the edge of the cuff closest to the sleeve. Peeking out from beneath the cuffs of the long sleeves are fingerless gloves in scarlet that form a v-shape over the top of the hand, with the point of the v close to the middle finger. The edges of these gloves are bordered in silver. Knotted under the sailor collar is a silk scarf in scarlet with wide, stiff ends that appear almost like the tails of a bow. The sailor soldier's White Moon pin covers the knot. Another silk scarf, also in scarlet, is wrapped around the neck and knotted. Over the white shirt is a high waist bodice that cuts just below the breasts and ends just over the hips in a low v-shape over the short pleated sailor skirt. The bodice is burnt orange with silver piping along the edges and in two princess-seamed parallel vertical lines in the front and in the back. Curved and split shirt tails in scarlet peek out below the bodice and above the skirt in the back of the uniform. Sailor Ixion wears silver earrings shaped like flames and a thin, silver tiara with a burnt orange oval-shaped gem in the center. Finally, her shoes are burnt orange, and look like combat boots.
Powers: 
Flaming Vortex- an offensive attack with relatively low power, this produces a small tornado made of flame that Sailor Ixion creates, rising it from a small flame, as she send it to an enemy. As Ixion grows more powerful, this attack will increase in size and power.
Smoldering Pinwheel- a defensive attack with relatively low power, this produces a wheel made of flame, similar in appearance to a water wheel, that acts as a shield. The wheel rotates very quickly, sometimes bouncing the enemy's attack right back at the enemy.
Weapons or Magical Items: Her henshin pin, given to her by Sailor Cosmos. It looks like this, with the teal spot being burnt orange instead.

RP Sample: 
Syra was working hard on her latest project--repairs on a hovercraft engine. While she and her father mostly specialized in forging weapons, Syra did not say no when she was presented with this project. The hovercraft belonged to the older sister of one of her friends, and the engine had apparently refused to start. So it was with great dedication that Syra sought to repair this engine, so that her friend's sister would have her hovercraft back in less than a month.
However, something caught the determined worker's eye. A flash of white outside the store. Syra shrugged and dismissed it as lightning; it had indeed been raining outside for at least an hour. But a shriek, a crash, and a bang told another story altogether. Curious, Syra removed her worker's goggles and stepped outside to investigate.

Did Syra have any friends or close family members? How did she feel about working with her father? How does she become a senshi? I ask these questions is because this is an Advanced profile, and we generally would like a little more description with Advanced profiles than with Relaxed profiles. If you could answer these questions and add that information to your History section, that would be great!
