Plot Summary: In the Silver Millennium, Princess Serenity was the one responsible for the destruction of the world due to her anguish over losing Endymion. It was not Queen Beryl, Metalia, or even Saturn. Serenity was the villain, and the ginzuishou her instrument of destruction.

And in the present day, she did it again. However, this time she managed to save it after.

The second destruction of the world woke up two new senshi. Haruka Tenoh and Michiru Kaioh; Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. When the world was "reset", they started having terrible dreams about world destruction and the image of one person responsible for it. Their princess.

In Silver Millennium, the two of them were also guardians of the outer solar system who never met the princess. But they were in love, and they were happy. Until Serenity destroyed that happiness.

They weren't going to let the same thing happen again.

In the present time, they only have one mission: kill the Princess. They see the inner senshi as foolish, idealistic people who are still trying to protect a volatile, clearly dangerous person. Is destroying the world twice not enough?

When the inner senshi and outer senshi clash for the first time in battle, the inners will learn the existence of yet even more senshi... who want not to protect their princess but to kill her.

Details on any necessary information: This is a storyline that takes place in the live action (PGSM) universe, and so follows it canon. The Special Act never happened, so we will be picking up from the Final Act where the girls reunited after Usagi restored the world. They will all keep their senshi powers, and Usagi would also keep the ginzuishou. Haruka and Michiru were never in the live action so they are being introduced as original characters. This will be an envisioned S/Infinity arc of the live action. Death Busters will be present but Pluto and Saturn are not currently planned to make an appearance.

Restrictions: Only Usagi, the Inner Senshi, Mamoru, Haruka, and Michiru will be playable, maybe Luna & Artemis if someone is interested.

In her dream, there was only darkness.

Darkness that felt heavy and suffocating, darkness that felt… evil. Almost like how she always felt when there was youma around… but worse. Because this wasn’t just pure evil. There was something about it that wasn’t right.

Rei twisted in her sleep as two silhouettes appeared from the shadows.

She could tell one was definitely female, but the other was… male? She wasn’t sure.

They were approaching her and she could feel the darkness emanating from them. And then she felt it; their killer instinct. Their horrifying, murderous desire.

Just before their hands could grab her neck, she woke up with a jolt. Sitting up on her bed, Rei found herself drenched in sweat. Her heart was thumping in her chest.

What was that? A premonition?

She checked the clock; it was still the middle of the night. She was tempted to call one of her friends… but it felt silly. It was just a dream, right?

Slowly she lowered herself back onto her pillow, wondering what it was supposed to tell her. Did they have new enemies lurking already?

Rei sighed. Just when she thought their lives were finally going to be at peace.

It took her a long time, but finally, she managed to get back to sleep.

Even if her sleep remained fitful and restless.

Minako was a little tired after a long day of school. She was supposed to meet the others to spend the day together. Honestly, Minako wasn't really sure what to expect. She knew that they usually went to one particular place to hang out all of the time, but that was about it. She was excited, but also nervous about going to their secret hang out. She wasn't sure how everything would go today. 

As Minako walked over to the school she was humming to herself. Part of her hoped to run into Rei on the way over there. Minako thought that maybe talking to her before they went to the girl's hangout would help her relax a bit. Minako knew that she'd been cold to the girls, except Rei, and she hoped that they'd accept her into their group. Minako was the first of the girls to get to the gate by the school. So she waited there for the rest of the girls.

There was nothing Ami loved more than the crisp afternoon air after a long day of studying and tests. While she loved to learn, nothing beat the satisfying sensation of a day well spent. As Ami walked to the usual meeting spot between her and her friends, she waved at people she passed. Ever since becoming friends with Usagi, social interactions become more...natural. She would admit that they were no where near perfect - there were still awkward silences and smiles that she mistakenly assumed were for her - she had come very far.

As usual, she had gotten there before any of her friends. With a smile, Ami sat down on a bench and pulled a novel out of her bag. There was no sense in waiting here doing nothing when there was always a good book to read.

Unsurprisingly, Usagi was late. She woke up late, she arrived to school late, her homework was incomplete and thus late, and as a result she had to stay late for classroom cleanup. If it hadn't been for help from Naru-chan, she would have been even later to meet the others. Cleaning duty was never something that Usagi enjoyed, and it was tortuous to have to submit to it when she was going to hang out as friends with the wonderful idol Minako Aino for the first time since... well, all of that other stuff.

Usagi couldn't deny that she was looking forward to being a "normal girl" again.

Her friends and comrades were precious to her, and she would never want to be in a world without them. She had been reunited with her prince, but more than just finding each other again, she felt like Mamoru was someone she had come to genuinely care for because of who he is, not only who he was in a past life. She may have once dreamed about being a princess, but Usagi had other feelings about that now. Her family and her beloved friends were too dear to her. She wanted to be with them, and she wanted to be Usagi.

When Usagi rushed down the front steps of Juuban Junior High School, her bright eyes spotted Ami and Minako immediately.

"Ami-chan! Minako-chan!" she called cheerfully, ignoring or merely oblivious to the disapproving looks from nearby teachers and staff.

The dark-haired girl skidded to a halt, signature pigtails swinging. The look on her face clearly conveyed her excitement and anticipation of their afternoon plans.

"Sorry to make you wait!"

Rei was still yawning when she made her way to Juuban Junior High from T.A. Academy. She quickly shook her head and hoped she didn’t look too exhausted, lest she caused her friends to become concerned. She had decided not to share her dream with them… not yet at least. Not until she could figure out what it really meant. This newfound peace was still so tentative… and she didn’t want to ruin it so soon. Not after everything they’d been through to get here.

When the school appeared in sight, she saw three figures already gathered by the gates. Usagi, Ami, and Minako.

Minako.

Rei stopped short as she saw the girl she had once lost now standing there among her friends. It felt… strange. Minako had never truly been a part of them, and she hoped this would finally change. Now that they didn’t have to be senshi anymore, she hoped Minako would show her true self, not just the Sailor Venus side. She knew Usagi would be really happy about finally embracing her into the group like she’d always wanted.

Rei walked up to her friends, unable to contain her smile at Usagi’s exuberant greeting. “Good afternoon, everyone,” she said, looking at each of them briefly, lingering uncertainly on Minako. “Where’s Makoto?” she asked, noticing that they were missing one person. Had she gotten delayed or something?

Minako saw Ami and walked over to her cautiously. She was reading a book so she just smiled at the girl and sat down. Soon she heard Usagi calling to her and Ami and she looked up. Seeing the girl smile warmed her heart. Somehow she calmed down a bit by seeing her face. Usagi had a way of brightening up anyone's day. She was the princess they once knew, but also she seemed to have grown from who she was in her past. 

After a while, Minako looked over to see Rei. She smiled at her friend when she greeted them, happy to be around again. "Hi Rei." Minako said. When Rei mentioned Makoto, Rei was right, she wasn't here yet, which from the looks on Rei's face was weird. "I'm sure she'll be here shortly right?" Minako said.

Makoto was held up after class by a classmate. She was asking Makoto for tips for making a bento box for her boyfriend. Makoto cheerfully helped her by writing down some simple recipes. Thanks to Usagi people weren't afraid to approach her. She bid her classmate farewell and hurried out the door. She was late for meeting up with her friends. Makoto briskly walked down the hallway and headed out of the building.

Once outside, she saw her friends standing outside. A smile appeared on her face. It was nice to see Minako standing there. She hoped that could get to know her better now. She approached them. "Hey guys! Sorry I am late. I got caught up with something. So you guys ready to go?"

Seeing all of her friends here, together, filled Usagi's heart nearly to bursting. The grin on her face only increased in size. The enthusiastic girl reached out to link her arms with the two standing closest to her at the moment, Rei and Minako. She wished she had more arms to pull everyone closer to her. In her mind, she imagined herself as a cute pink anime-styled octopus, with two short tentacles to "hold hands" with each friend. This thought only made her happier!

"Yes, let's go! Ka~ra~o~ke!" she cheered, leading the way towards the arcade and dragging her (hopefully willing) pals alongside her.

Usagi turned towards Minako, positively beaming at the blonde girl.

"Oh! Luna gave me your passport, Minako-chan! Actually, Luna gave me new passports for everyone! Valid for one more year!"

She wondered what Motoki would think when he saw she was coming to sing karaoke with ✨✨Minako Aino✨✨. He would notice, right? He paid attention to idols enough to recognize her, didn't he? He worked at a karaoke bar, after all. If Minako had been in a commercial for turtle food, then Usagi knew Motoki would recognize her. He always focused his attention on Kamekichi!

After a bit Minako saw Makoto. Finally they were all together and they could go. Usagi suddenly linked arms with her and Rei. Minako was taken by surprise with the fact that Usagi was so comfortable with everyone. Now they were on their way to Karaoke. Minako hated to admit it, but she enjoyed karaoke. Suddenly Usagi spoke to Minako directly. Usagi had Minako's passport and new ones for the other girls. That was good right? "Passport?" Minako asked Usagi. 

Minako was a little worried about being spotted by fans. She didn't want to be bombarded by a lot of people when she was trying to bond with Usagi and the rest of the girls.

Ami couldn't help but smile broadly as Usagi bounded towards them. Looking up from her book, Ami stood and waved to her best friend. She had been so immersed in her book that she hadn't even noticed Minako's presence. Blushing slightly, Ami nodded to Minako as a silent apology. Soon, Rei and Makoto arrived, and the five of them were together. Standing there, Ami couldn't help the warmth that spread from her heart and traveled all throughout her body. If someone had approached her a year ago and said she would be a part of a close group of girls, Ami would have shaken her head and referred them to the nearest psychology center. 

But here she was, and she had never felt better.

Still smiling, Ami walked beside Makoto as they began to head towards the game center. She was in such a good mood that she was sure Usagi would be able to convince her to get up and sing karaoke today.

Right after she asked where Mako was, Mako appeared. And then suddenly Usagi was holding her arm and Minako’s. Rei suppressed a laugh; she wondered how Minako would react to that. Usagi’s brand of casual touching and overly intimate gestures could be surprising sometimes, but she had had a year to get used to it.

They started walking toward the karaoke place, and Usagi gave Minako her passport. Rei had to smile at that, too. She imagined Minako had no idea what on earth that was. Or how all this time when she wasn’t around, all of them had been subjected to Usagi singing her trademark song in the karaoke almost every other day. Rei was pretty sure the tunes of C’est La Vie even haunted her dreams.

Dreams.

Her light mood evaporated when she remembered last night’s dream.

And as if on cue, she heard shouts of panic from up ahead. Her heart jumped to her throat. A youma? Again? But that was impossible. The Dark Kingdom was gone, right?

But people started running in their direction, screaming. And then… there it was.

A monster with a black star on its chest was targeting innocents en masse with beams of energy. Rei felt her entire body went cold. The youma’s energy felt entirely different than the ones from Dark Kingdom, and it seemed to have a different appearance and purpose too. So this was a new enemy? Was this what her dream had warned her about?

This soon? She thought they had finally earned peace. She thought they could have one happy karaoke session with all five of them…

Rei gritted her teeth in anger, and did not think twice. She raised her arms and immediately shouted, “Mars Power, Make Up!”

She didn't have time to respond to Minako's question about the passport. Screams attracted her attention, and a strange and unfamiliar monster appeared ahead of them.

"What?" she exclaimed in confusion. "But we defeated the Dark Kingdom!"

The ominous black star on its chest, the source of beams of dark energy, burned in her eyes. There was a time when she might have run away, trying to prevent getting caught up in danger, but now... now she was different. She wanted to be a normal girl again. That didn't mean she could ignore the situation happening now. She had a duty to protect the Earth. She would never be a normal girl again--she was a sailor soldier.

Usagi set her lips firmly and closed her fingers around her Heart Moon Brooch.

"Moon Prism Power, Make Up!"

The power flowed over her, and Sailor Moon tightened her grip around the Moonlight Stick. She glanced over at Sailor Mars, nodding. She knew the others would transform and stand with her. They were a team. They would fight this monster together.

Minako watched as people were running away from what looked like a youma. Why is this happening again? Minako thought, I thought we defeated the Dark Kingdom. Regardless of her confusion about how there could possibly be a new youma Minako shouted, "Venus Power, Make up!" This youma looked bad, it had a black star on its chest and was using beams of dark energy to attack people.

She was not happy that this was happening, after all of the things she went through, for a new enemy to show up, it was a shock. She was happily trying to start her new life and get to know these girls who could be her friends. She knew it was her duty to help these people and with these girls by her side they could defeat any enemy that came their way. She looked over at the others and prepared to fight with them.

Ami felt her blood run cold as screams pierced her eardrums. Instantly on alert, her eyes scanned for any signs of danger. Sure enough, danger came in a most terrifying fashion. This monster was unlike any Ami had encountered so far, and the look in its eyes was enough to make a regular human faint with fear. 

Holding her wrist up, Ami followed the example of her friends and shouted, "Mercury Power, Make-Up!" The fresh, chilled streams of water that Ami loved so much ran over her body, transforming her into Sailor Mercury in a matter of seconds. 

The blue sailor senshi stood alongside her friends, a look of determination in her eyes as the monster continued to attack. In an attempt to save the civilians trying to escape, Mercury focused her energy and shouted, "Mercury Aqua Mist!"

She let the streams of mist pour from her hands, silently praying for the remaining civilians to get to safety. It felt good to utilize water again, Mercury thought, but it was a little heartbreaking all the same. She had enjoyed being a normal girl, and now that was all over again. But as Mercury looked to Mars and then to Sailor Moon, she knew that she wouldn't trade this life for anything else.

Neptune sensed it—the enemy. It was close. She and Haruka had felt its presence earlier and had transformed before running toward its location. Her mirror had guided her to it, and now they could see the creature from the distance.

Their intentions weren’t exactly noble. They had figured out that the princess would most likely be where the civilians were threatened, that she would inevitably appear to fight a monster when one showed up. Of course, Neptune didn’t want the enemy to destroy the world either. But the princess, with her uncontrollable Silver Crystal and its immense power, was the bigger threat.

Her and Uranus’ mission was twofold: take care of the enemy, and the Princess. No one was going to destroy their world anymore. No one was going to ruin their chance at happiness.

Neptune skidded to a halt the moment she saw the monster. Through the light mist covering the area, she saw that the other senshi—the princess’ loyal guardians—were already fighting the creature. And among them was… Yes.

Sailor Moon. Their target.

They met face to face at last.

Triumph at finally finding her and hatred for the things she’d so carelessly done burned inside Neptune. She zeroed in on the monster—the lesser target. It probably could be killed quickly if both she and Uranus attacked at the same time. They were more powerful than these other naïve guardians after all. She was almost grateful for the mist; maybe the other senshi would not be able to figure out who they were until it was too late.

Aiming at the monster, from behind the veil of the mist Neptune shouted, “Deep Submerge!” and sent crashing ocean waves toward her target.

As usual, Sailor Moon found herself grateful for the cover that Mercury could create. The monster was confused now that the mist had rolled in, improving their chance at this battle. It would be more difficult now for the thing to attack either civilians or the sailor soldiers without clear visibility. She couldn't see her friends very well, but she could still sense that they were nearby. Mercury's mist could cloud the surrounding area, but it could not dull her senses as a sailor soldier. As much as she had been hoping not to ever transform again, she couldn't deny that this was a part of her now. She felt so... alive.

She adjusted her grip on the Moonlight Stick, preparing to heal the creature--but she never got a chance.

Sailor Moon whipped around, her pigtails trailing behind her, searching for the source of that voice. It was unfamiliar, yet it pulled at her heart, as though it evoked some kind of memory that she couldn't quite recall. She didn't see anyone through the mist, but she did see a blast of sea-green energy radiate outward from where the monster had stood. It had to be the power of another sailor soldier, she could feel that it was, but she knew it wasn't from any of her friends and teammates. How could that be possible?

"What was that?" she called to the others.

Her next question was directed out, into the rolling fog that had not yet cleared.

"Who's there?"

As Minako watched Mercury use her mist to help them prepare to attack. She was about to start attacking when suddenly she heard someone new speak. She heard them speak and then the youma was suddenly defeated. There was an attack she hadn't seen either. It was a surprise to see that or even hear someone new attack. There couldn't be more senshi out there could there? In response to everything she heard Usagi call to them asking what that was. Then she heard her call out to the person and ask who was there. She decided it was better to walk to Usagi to protect her if it was needed.

The moment Mars heard that voice and saw that attack, she felt fear deep in her heart. The figure she could only see vaguely from behind the mist was too familiar. It was like the one she’d seen in her dream last night. Was it a premonition after all? She remembered the murderous intent she felt in the dream—how dangerous they were and how scared they had made her feel.

She instinctively stepped forward so that she was in front of Sailor Moon.



The monster was vanquished by her attack, and now Neptune’s attention moved toward her secondary target. The princess.

She contemplated attacking from here without showing themselves—the fact that the rest of the group still had no idea who they were would give her and Uranus the upper hand, but there was also a deep need that drove her forward to reveal herself. She needed the princess to know what a threat she was to the world. She needed her to know just how much she had destroyed in her selfishness.

So she lost her love. Did that mean she had to take away everyone else’s, too?

Neptune walked forward, Uranus beside her. The two of them emerged from the mist like phantoms. Their outfits clearly showed that they were senshi, even if these other senshi would not know them.

“We are the guardians of the outer solar system, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus,” she said icily. “Step aside, guardians. We are here to kill the Princess.”

When the figures appeared, they were two senshi. Minako was really surprised! They introduced themselves as guardians of the outer solar system and Minako didn't realize they had those. Suddenly, they declared they were here to kill the princess, Usagi, Minako tensed up and moved in front of Usagi with Rei. "What do you mean you're here to kill the princess?" Mianko asked them, "She hasn't done anything wrong. What grounds do you have for trying to take such drastic measures?" Minako stared at the girls, still too much in shock to really do anything more than talk to them. She didn't want to fight these girls, buts she would if they tried to harm Usagi.

Sailor Moon gaped at the two new sailor soldiers. They looked regal and icy in their uniforms, nearly matching shades of navy blue accented with gold and turquoise. When they announced themselves, naming additional planets and clarifying their mission, she wondered why she did not remember them. She was so wrapped up in this new information that she nearly missed the last part of their message. When it finally clicked in her mind her eyes widened and she took a step back.

They were here... to kill her?

Her ears barely registered Venus' questions. Her eyes only caught the faint movement as Mars stepped in front of her protectively. She felt like the ground was spinning slightly, uneven.

"You say you are sailor guardians," she said, staring up at the teal-haired woman with confusion in her bright blue eyes. "Shouldn't we be working together?"

To say that Sailor Uranus hated the moon princess with all of her being was an understatement.

Here they were, standing within earshot of Sailor Moon and her sailor imbeciles, and Uranus had never felt so enraged. This was the princess who destroyed their lives. This was the child who ended an entire era over a boy. She was thoughtless, selfish, childish, and disgusting.

Finally, Uranus would get her revenge and save the world from the fate this girl would bring.

Uranus was lucky to have found Neptune once again. Having her best friend and soul mate by her side made her feel as if she really was on the right path. Their shared thoughts and emotions was what made Uranus and Neptune so inseparable. Nothing was going to bring them down - especially not the moon princess.

Seeing Neptune single-handedly bring down the monster brought a smirk to Uranus's face. It would have taken those useless senshi at least another ten minutes to defeat it. This was their statement - they were much stronger than all of those senshi put together.

Uranus scoffed at the way Sailor Moon's senshi tried to protect her. Standing with her arms crossed, back pressed against Neptune's, Uranus said, "We don't work with selfish children. You misused your power, princess, and I'm afraid we can't allow that to happen again. The world is better off without you and your selfish ways."

Moving away from Neptune, Uranus summoned her powers, causing her hands to glow a faint golden shade. Her piercing eyes were glaring straight at Sailor Mars.

"Do as she says. Step. Aside."

Minako watched as the other started speaking, she looked  angry and so did the teal haired girl. They were ready to fight and Minako didn't want that. As she listened this girl was trying to tell them that Usagi misused her powers and they wouldn't let it happen again because the world would be better without Usagi in it. Minako couldn't disagree more. She also refused to step aside when the blonde told them to. 

"You're wrong!" Minako yelled at her, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Usagi, I wouldn't have started this new life and made a friend. She's important to all of us and I'd rather fight you than let you try and kill her."

Misused her power? That was true, undoubtedly, but... she had changed that awful fate. Together, she and Mamoru had reversed that horrible moment and saved everyone. It had worked out in the end. Why would these new strangers be so upset about it now?

"The world is saved; we defeated Beryl and Metallia," the blonde protested.

Wasn't that enough? What were they interested in punishing her for?

Somehow it didn't occur to her that these new sailor soldiers, Uranus and Neptune, could be referring to the era of the Silver Millennium and the acts of Princess Serenity. She heard them call her "princess," but failed to grasp the potential association, so overwhelmed was she by the current situation.

Sailor Moon looked over at Venus, who refused to move away from her. It warmed her heart to hear such words of devotion from her dear friend and the leader of her guardian soldiers. The contrast between Venus' devotion and these newcomers' hostility increased the tension in this awkward moment.

Hasn’t done anything wrong?

Neptune almost laughed at Venus’ words. So the leader of the senshi was this naïve, this blind to her own princess’ failures?

“You call causing the entire world’s destruction—not once but twice—as nothing wrong, Venus? And that neutralizing that threat—the threat to entire world—a drastic measure? I would hardly call it that. If anything, we’re protecting everyone else, including you.” She narrowed her eyes. “I thought you, at least, would know better.”

But apparently their princess was just as naïve. “You were the one who betrayed us first, Princess,” she said icily. “Why should we protect you when all you do is destroy everyone’s happiness?”

She shook her head as Sailor Moon said that they defeated Beryl and Metalia. “But at what cost? The cost was Endymion. And that caused you to end the world… again.” Her gaze slid back to Venus. “All she does is destroy.”



When Rei saw these figures in a dream, she never imagined they would be sailor senshi.

But they were serious about murdering Usagi. She could see it in their eyes, could feel the intent coming off of them clear as day. It made her shiver. She had never felt such hatred.

As she listened to their words, she realized this was about the Silver Crystal.

And the words were truth. That was undisputed. Usagi—and Princess Serenity—had both destroyed the world.

But Usagi had also brought it back by sacrificing herself. It was only because she left enough of a mark in everyone’s hearts that she was able to come back—because they were all missing something in their lives without her.

“You’re wrong,” she balled her fists and stepped forward, closer to the new senshi and barring their way from Sailor Moon. “Usagi is not Princess Serenity. She is different. She is stronger. She may have destroyed the world… but she also saved it. She was ready to sacrifice herself for it… but our lives… our lives mean nothing without her in it. That’s how important she is.”

The hostility from the two new sailor soldiers was not enough to deter her. She felt ashamed of her past actions, particularly when enunciated here with such detail. She could not deny what she had done. These two guardians were correct--she had done horrible things and misused her powers.

Yet, she was unwilling to simply submit to their suggestion that the world would be better without her. She still remembered what it had been like in those moments where she was alone. Her friends had wanted her back. They chose a world with her in it. Shouldn't that count for something? Even now, Venus spoke that same conviction.

"I want to work alongside you," she continued. "We can protect this world together."
