In the midst of the license renewal in the States and such, I know that Sailor Moon merchandise has been increasing slightly. So I thought it might be fun if we post official and unofficial merchandise that we find randomly on the internet.

Since I'm in the process of opening my own account at Cafepress.com, I decided to do some research on what I would possibly place on my account. I wandered upon this hoddie, instantly fell in love with it, and thought it needed to be shared:

They have pretty cool stuff on this website and it doesn't cost too much. I just totally love the wallets at page 1 and 3, the Sailor Moon Glass case at page 3 and the pillow at page 5

That is very cool, JoJai! I may have to use that site in the future because my daughter wants a Sailor Moon plushie for Christmas ^^

These are all unofficial but the designs are really inventive. The references are more subtle. You know you've met a true SM fan if they can recognize the references in the shirt design.

As much as I love that Hot Topic and other vendors are carrying SM merch, I feel the designs are too loud. Some people can pull it off but I tend to wear more toned-down graphic tees. I'm going to sound like a dork here but I'd feel pretty darn cool wearing any of these shirts.

Would SOOOOO buy the Sailor V t-shirt! As I am a fan of Marvel and I like the Sailor V story, it's like a prefect mixture of two world XD Hehe ^^

Another online vendor I go to for unofficial fan merch is Etsy. It's pretty awesome with a bunch of custom-made Sailor Moon goodies. Most of it's Sailor Moon cosplay items or inspired jewelry. Some of the cosplay items are better than the official bandai props.

Just check out these Dr. Tomoe and Melvin glasses!





Also, the Three Lights transformation earpiece.



Lastly, these are such small items but I love them all. Cell phone charms!



^I bought the Mercury one for my friend who's an Ami fan and she adored it. Funny enough, her cell phone opens horizontally like laptop so with the keychain, we called it her Mercury Data Assistant! We're so cool.

Oh my word, I would totally buy Dr. Tomoe's glasses and wear them in my studio and feel all smart and crafty. Hee. Thank you for sharing that, Reiko.

Rebecca, if you wear them in your studio you have to make sure there's a hard lighting so everything shoulder-up is concealed. Then you have to waltz around laughing maniacally.

This is very true. I must also be sure to have two oranges and a banana handy in case some one walks in, which would then of course cause me to hurriedly turn off the lights and successfully appear maniacal and mysterious.

I really like the Tuxedo Mask phone charm with the rose.
