So in celebration of Story of Seasons officially coming out in North America tomorrow, I have created this thread! It may contain spoilers of the game, so you have been warned. 

I'm so excited, I can't wait!!

Me too!!! I've been dying to get my hands on it. I will get it after work.

I work tomorrow evening so I"m going as soon as the store opens in the morning so I have a few hours of playtime xD I preordered mine.

There are two difficulties. Normal and Seedling. Normal you play it like it was meant to be. Seedling makes you use less stamina and the price of goods is decreased by 30%. I'm going with seedling because I read that it takes awhile to meet the requirements to unlock things and plus use of less stamina is very appealing to me. Seedling was introduced through a patch apparently. People complained about how long it took to unlock things.

It's Harvest Moon people. It's not meant to be hard.

What's Story of Seasons?

The real Harvest Moon game. 

The publisher of Harvest Moon merged with a new company and handed over the localization to a sub group within the company. Natsume who localizes it it here owns the name Harvest Moon. The new localization team had to drop Harvest Moon and use the subtitle Story of Seasons. Recently Natsume made their own Harvest Moon game called the Lost Valley.

To me Story of Seasons is the true Harvest Moon game.

The game that Natsume came up with, Lost Valley really sucks from what I've been hearing. People have all types of complaints and as I told the guy at the store when I asked if they had any games in besides Tale of Two Towns as I check for some of the older games on occasion, that one doesn't exist when he listed it xD he just laughed and said that's what he's been hearing.

I read that as well. A lot people loved the minecraft like gameplay, but it wasn't executed right. The major complaints I saw were the the lack of too upgrades and the time going by way too fast.

I'll definitely have to check out the game sometime when I get the chance to xD Seems fun! I was thinking of maybe getting the New 3DS, but there's so few differences between that one and the old one that spending the money on it seems silly to me xD I never use the 3DS toggle view thing anyway because it just gives me a headache xD 

But this game seems cool! Will check out!

I was hoping my Walmart carried it and they don't. Now I have to go my GameStop. It's by a busy road and it's a pain a butt to drive there during rush hour.  >.>

I've started but I'm only on day 3 and it's still training @.@

I think this is the first game where you don't start off with a chicken coop. I'm already in the summer and I haven't been able to afford to buy a blueprint yet >.>

It's hard to save up money, when the first vendor comes like every three days.  -_- But you should be able to get it soon. You should be unlocking the second vendor soon. I'm amusing you haven't yet. I've been looking at a HM forum recently for help!

I guess it's realistic, but come on! I should be able to ship locally as well. I'm near the end of Spring right now. I haven't had a chance to really sit down and play. I've been busy getting the house ready for Easter.

ONE YEAR LATER

I finally bought a 3DS and this game and I just started playing it. I'm so happy everything looks pretty ;_;

Thanks! I've checked out a few guides and I see how involved this game is, how many options there are, which is awesome. I've only ever played the old HM games which aren't this elaborate. I look forward to exploring everything and raising them bunnies xD

The bunnies are so cute! Be careful with them though if you don't brush them like every other day and you let them get too dirty they run away faster than any of the other animals and are a pain to find -___-
