I've already watched the first half and am saving the rest for later. Here are my initial impressions:
Spoiler:
As I pointed out to some other members, this musical starts out very similarly to A Very Potter Sequel, where the villain decides the best course of action is to go back in time and prevent the hero from ever succeeding in the first place. Just a random funny note.
As with most of these musicals, this one is clearly for fans of Sailor Moon. They make no effort to hide who Chibiusa is or the 30th Century in general. Honestly, setting up the villains and future early on just makes more sense dramatically for a two and a half hour musical. It'd be pointless to build up the mystery when everyone in the crowd knows the answer.
Wiseman's first appearance looked awful. It reminded me of a stuffed gorilla. Fortunately they get a legit actor to play him later and it looks great.
Was that some foreshadowing with the Chibiusa dance number in the "We Are Your Nemesis" song? Nice.
The clones were hilarious. The Sailor Jupiter wrestling scene had me laughing so hard. Excellent choreography with the fighting!
I wish Crystal had the same quality of these musicals. These musicals aren't afraid to change elements of the story to suit a stage show, whereas Crystal just rehashes the story pointlessly with barely any effort to establish its identity. The Black Moon arc is my least favorite, but this musical helped me appreciate it more. Usagi's frustrations over Mamoru and Chibiusa's relationship helped me understand the frustration Chibusa had seeing Sailor Pluto so happy with King Endymion later.
I'm excited to finish this, but it's hard to do it in one sitting. I'll be back with further thoughts later.
EDIT: Watching the closing comments, it's hilarious that Pluto was most emotional of all of them, haha. She's adorable. And awwwww, the second Chibiusa is so cute! It was sad to see her cry.
SUPER EDIT: The actresses for Moon and Mercury were absolutely adorable.

Yeah, it's an .mkv file, so some people might have some issues.
Here's my thoughts now that I've watched the second half. MAJOR SPOILERS, EVEN IF YOU'VE READ OR SEEN THE BLACK MOON ARC.
Spoiler:
I didn't touch on this before, but I really like the droid concept, where certain characters were replaced by droids after a while. The twist that Demand was actually a droid the whole time was a welcome surprise. Seeing as most of us know the story by heart, it was awesome to see such a risky change work so well.
Gorilla Wiseman made a return. Fortunately, it's cut short by Saphir. It looks so bad. Really makes me wonder what they were thinking. They got Death Phantom right though. That effect was really cool.
This musical probably has my favorite interpretation of Black Lady. I love how she looks childish and still somewhat innocent. The actress did a fantastic job.
Sailor Pluto kicks ass in her death solo. It was legitimately sad and I teared up a bit at Black Lady's solo afterward.
Wow! Tuxedo Mask actually said "EARTH STAR POWER!" It's hard for me to think how often we hear that out of him. On that note, it's really interesting that Usagi and Mamoru only really get a song together until the end.
These two musicals have been fantastic. Inevitably, they'll likely do S after this. I can't wait to see their interpretation. This was a real treat. Kudos to Miss Dream for the quick fansub!

Just finished watching Petite Etrangere. I really liked it. I feel its an improvement from la reconquista. The actresses are all so cute at the end. I hope they keep these going, so we can see all these ladies grow more. I literally was shouting at my screen and screaming at some points, I had my dinner and was just sitting staring at my screen with my food on my chopstix, saying "it isnt supposed to be thisway." (you will have to watch to see for your self )
Spoiler:
also the part where Usagi finds out Chibiusa is her and Mamo's daughter. Omg bsest adaptaton .....ever

I jotted these down when I was watching, so they might be disjointed.
New Ami is so tiny! Also Rei can sing really well. Love her voice the best.
How come the best Usagi actresses can't sing really well? Maybe it's the fact they're really good Usagis. (I thought the same about Miyuki)
Almost thought they were gonna do the kitchen scene for a while there.
I love that they're using official merch for the Tux plush. Great product placement there xD
They sang a song entirely in English! I always love it when they include English words in songs even though sometimes it seems weird.
I agree the twist was interesting, but what happened to
Spoiler:
the original Demande?! I wanna know how he died!
I thought this was a really good one. Some parts of it were really funny, and I think the actresses have gotten much more comfortable with their roles. And the emotional scenes were really emotional too.
I really really hope they do more international performances, especially because I'm still in Asia and not that far away from them. One can dare to hope...

I agree with all of these statements. I was crying at some parts. the emotions were so raw. So many plot twists, I was like i didnt see that coming. I wish we would have gotten to see the other choibiusa, maybe we will see more of her in the future. I can't wait to see where they go next. If I am ever in Japan and one of these is going on, I am gonna go.

I loved that a lot too. I was really excited when I realized I had the exact same Tuxedo Kamen plushie they used in that musical. Or at least I think I do. Is that the GE Tux plush?
Quote :

I love that song a lot too. I thought it was cute and catchy and I ended up listening to it several times. I wish there were more clips on youtube of the individual songs in case I just want to listen to the song itself without pulling out the media player to do it. Overall, I enjoyed this musical a lot more than La Reconquista.
Spoiler:
I loved the twist change they made with making Demande a droid. That was really shocking and his fate was so tragic, I wasn't expecting that to happen when I watched it. I think all the scenes in Crystal Tokyo were handled really well, especially the scenes where Chibi-usa gets jealous of Pluto being happy around Endymion.
I loved Chibi-usa in this musical a lot and thought she was cute and funny. The scene at the end
Spoiler:
where Chibi-usa comes back and they all comment about Serenity's bad kanji writing was so hilarious and cute and I was glad they kept it.
I think the music and singing was a lot better this time but I was disappointed La Soldier wasn't in the musical this time. Is this the first musical that didn't have La Soldier in it? I wish they sang that instead of Moonlight Densetsu.

La Reconquista didn't have La Soldier in it. These musicals are a new independent production from the old ones (they've made it pretty obvious it is just by style and all that). Don't expect to hear La Soldier or any old Myu songs.

I thought it was the recently released Bandai plush (along with Princess Serenity, Small Lady, Human Luna, etc). But it does look a lot like the GE plush.

I only saw La Reconquista once before this so I couldn't remember if La Soldier was in it or not. It's kind of disappointing that it's not. I'm also a little annoyed they seem to be going with Mamoru's more jerky personality from the original anime for these new musicals. You'd think they would base it more off his manga persona to tie it in with Crystal or something.

New Mercury is so adorable!! i can't help to love her more than the other one, plus she is a moonie <3. This Demand is...cool i guess, but i liked more Hikari from the old ones >.<. The only song that i liked was Abracadabra and the death song of pluto, the rest of the songs are sooo bad in my opinion, i liked most from the first myu :/. I don't know if it was because of the last performance in Japan, but Usagi sounded BAD, like REALLY BAD, worst than last year. she is still funny and honestly my second fave Usagi after Anza <3. I love the most that they follow the manga like on SMC *-* i don't like some changes that were created on previous myu at the same time they were some that i loved (plus, the stories they created like the vampire ones and the pirates...sorry but no). my wish was that at the end NQS and Sailor Moon had met like in the manga, but i guess it might be difficult T.T. BEST PLUTO EVER. PERIOD.
Overall i like a lot this myu, the songs might grow in me if i keep watching it, it usually works xD

Thanks! Though I think someone mentioned that further up in the thread. xD
And now that I've finally watched it, I'll have to say it was only mildly enjoyable for me. There were some scenes that were good. I didn't really like any of the songs again (much like La Reconquista).
5/10 for me. :/

Thought it was fantastic. I've seen a bunch of the old Sera Myu musicals and this cast of inner senshi is by far my favorite out of all of them. Especially the ladies playing Makoto and Rei, they're terrific. I have to admit I still prefer Ono Hikari as Prince Dimande, but everyone was really great. I can't stop imagining Yuuga, who plays Tux, as Haruka. Oh boy can you even imagine the amount of ovaries that would explode.
Also, Pluto's song gives me goosebumps. She was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. I was SO stoked to finally see Pluto and she absolutely nailed it, and her costume was gorgeous, too (thank god they stopped with the purple/blue fuku from the old musicals).
SPEAKING OF PLUTO'S ACTRESS, I just about cried along with her when she started talking about how much Sailor Moon means to her.
just omg puu ilu

Tany if you ask me, i will tell you they weren't good at all, around the same as la reconquista some being worse, some being better. But thats me. The music and singing has been the really low point of these two musicals.

My impressions after I watched la petite etrangere on the weekend:
- Sato, the one who plays Sailor Moon sings horribly. - Some of it was good, some of it was bad - some of the plot twists were interesting - I wish Pluto would have sung more!
