Makoto saw Ami was having a hard time holding onto all the invotations. "Would you like some help," she asked. " I am going into town to pick up some fresh ingredients for the snacks and the cake." "We can put the invitations in the basket and take them to be delivered, and then if you like, you can come with me to get my ingredients."

"Thank you so much Rei, I won't disappoint." Hotaru said, closing her eyes and smiling in approval as she took the money from Rei and walked off. She then noticed Makoto asking if she could come as well. "Of course you can Makoto, two minds are more effective together than one." She said as they went off.

Ami smiled at Mako. "That would be great!" She said. How was it that the blue haired senshi didn't think of a basket to carry the innovations? she must be excited and forgot something so simple. She grinned at the thunder senshi as she put the innovations in the basket. "Mind if we stop along the way?" She asked looking up at Mako. "I just got a call that the mobile I ordered for Chibiusa is ready to be picked up."

"That is not a problem, I cannot wait to see the mobile." Minako said. "I also have a stop I would like to make, I want to make the King a cake, since he will not be at the shower, he deserves something sweet."  The invitations shouldn't take long to get delivered, so maybe in the next couple days, we can start decorating, maybe Michiru and Haruka can help distract the king and queen."

With that Minako and Ami made their way into town to run their errands.

Rei watched Ami run out of the room with a pile of papers. Rei giggled to herself and sighed. This baby shower was not only for the Queen, but it was also a way of tightening the bonds of all the warriors. It had been a long while since Rei had seen her friends acting as....natural.

Ami smiled. It was a great day. "How about we walk? It's not that far into town, Mako." She suggested since as of late, she hadn't seen much of her friend. Ami had been busy with her work in the lab, and making sure that they Queen was healthy and her pregnancy was going well. She was a doctor after all, it was part of her job. She smiled easily, for what felt like the first time in a while. "I love the idea of making the King a cake." She said when Mako offered her idea. "That sounds like a great plan, and I would think that Michiru and Haruka would be up for distracting the queen, maybe they can help out in the nursery some. If I understand there's not too much left to do, but all the same, right?" Ami smiled up at Mako, this was the most fun she'd had in a while, at least all week.

"A walk would be great." Makoto said. It was a lovely morning, the sun was out and there was a light breeze. The two walked catching up on various topics. Makoto told Ami she would need someone to help distract Serenity while she was baking the cake, heck she would need help distracting the king too. He was very sneaky, but Makoto knew he stole some sweets now and then. The Queen would be harder to distract, it seemed being pregnant only heightened her radar for all things sweet. Makoto and Ami were walking towards the small cafe on the corner, when Makoto asked "would you like to stop and have a small snack?"

"Moving ahead to actual baby shower, to be held misplace gazebo outside, in the garden."

Makoto woke up early, she had much to do to prepare her cakes and get them ready in time for the baby shower. Major turned on the stove and began measuring ingredients. Once everything was measured, makoto began to mix all of the contents together. After pouring the cake in the pan, putting the cake in the oven, and cleaning up the mess, makoto went to go see if she could help anyone else. She would start on the other cake closer to the baby shower.

Ami woke early that morning her excitement only just contained and she got ready for the day ahead. She could hardly wait to see all that they had planned come to a wonderful end. She wondered again if she had gotten everything, and did one last check. She had the mobile and the blanket she had found. It was a soft material in a pale pink with moons, stars and small bunnies on it. It was perfect for Chibiusa. She gathered the boxes and made her way to the gazebo where the party would be held. She wondered if she should go find Mako see if there was anything last minuet she could help with.

Rei awoke with excitement, and dressed in a cute red summer dress. She put her hair up in a bun on her head, and wore short ankle high black gladiator sandals to accompany the outfit. She walked outside and saw some of the girls were already buys preparing for the big day.

"What can I help with?" Rei asked Makoto.

Makoto smiled up at her friend, glad to have someone there to help her with the next cake. "Actually, i was just about to get started on making the cake for the king." "Would you like to help make frosting, or would you like to mix the cake, I have all the ingredients ready." Mako said while motioning over to the counter filled with all the ingredients to make a decadent chocolate cake.

"I just hope that we can keep the king and queen away just a bit longer." Mako said with a smile on her face.

Ami walked into the kitchen. "Hey girls." She said with a  smile to Rei and Mako. "Anything I can help with?" She asked leaning on the counter and dipping a near by clean spoon into the cake batter. "Other than eat the cake batter. Mako that is amazing!" She exclaimed and put the spoon in the sink.

Makoto was glad to have more hands on deck, it seemed the time was running closer and closer to the main event and the main cake had yet to be frosted. "Can you frost the cake for me after I get the mix made up?" Makoto asked.

She whipped the ingredients together and mixed in some food coloring. One bowl had pink, one purple,and one left white.  She passed the bowls to Ami. 

I would appreciate the help, I have to go pull the snacks out of the fridge.

Makoto ran off thanking Ami for her help. "Oh and try not to eat all the frosting while I am gone."
