About the whole diary thing:

To write another entry in it you have to be in the room it's hidden, right?

No thats only to move it or for it to be found you can write in it no matter where you are.

Wanting to note as well that I've been a bit busy today, but I hope to get a post up once everything calms down at home =] I am excited!

Note on posting orders/frequency/length:


Nothing is bad. Nothing is wrong. XD You can post as often as you like with whatever length you want.


Oh! And bold actions you want me concerned with. Like if you wanted to search under a table for a walkie talkie, you'd write:

Setsuna, late to the party but fabulously dressed as always, tucked into the room, bent down, and searched under the table for a walkie-talkie. 

and I'd reply via PM with "You found a walkie talkie!" or "Nothign was there..."

and you'd go something like:

She emerged, held the "transmit" button, and asked "What does the fox say?"

or 

She didn't find anything. Pursing her lips, she struck a pose and raised her voice, "but what does the fox say?!"

OK it's likly gonna be like 3 my time before I can post again as I'm getting ready to leave for work.

I am so sorry I was so AWOL this game. It's not like me on this forum to not take part with commitment, but unfortunately I couldn't beat real life this time. I've not even had a chance to read the thread through but I hope you're all having awesome fun. Can't wait to join in properly with the next game!! <3

... but I just wanted to make sure you guys all know that anyone could have offed Michiru; the killer doesn't have to be searching the same room as their target at night in order to k.o. them.

If a brainwashed girl wanted to off a target, they would sneak away from their group and go do it. I roll a die to see if anyone in their group notices that they left, and send them a PM about something being fishy if it rolls in the normal person's favor. 


Aaaalllllsooooooo, in the future, from the moment you guys split up and head your different ways ((i.e., I summarize in one of my posts that so-and-so and so-and-so have gone to _____ room)) you don't post in the game board until the lights come on. If you would like to continue RPing with your group (which is the best way to spread clues amongst the group, and to get a higher chance of noticing if someone leaves) PM them and include me in the PM.


You don't have to summarize what you did during that 'blackout' time. 


When the lights come back on and the blackout phase is over, you have your characters return to the agreed-upon meeting room (which can be any room or location of the group's choosing before splitting up). If anything of interest happened during the night, that'd be the place to share IC (if person with clue wants to share).


This is just to keep the game a little more mysterious, which keeps things on the fairer side. =)

Ah I'm sorry for taking long to reply! Things are really crazy at home at the moment, so I'm struggling, but I really am trying to keep up!!  

Man, I'm still struggling to learn the basics...

So do you only find clues during the blackout phase?

Unless you are incredibly super specific. 

For example, "Examine Michiru's Body" would get you a general "Oh, well Michiru's around 5'7" with teal hair and a nice complexion." while "Search Michiru's Body for Clues" might give stuff like crumbs or other obvious clues.
The most specific phrasing would be something like "Examine Michiru's body for the cause of the KO." which, if something you are able to see, will get you the reason.

But you could also search teh area you're in, so long as you are specific. For example, "Search the room" won't get you anything, but "Search the room for anything out of place that might lead to finding out why Michiru was knocked out" might give you a list of items that could have done teh trick.
