anyway, last night, i had such a cool thought! i was thinking about Princess Luna, and how she changed...as Nightmare Moon, she had the starry flowing mane. when she came back, she had a simple mane...then when she aged a bit more, she had a little of the starry mane again, which made me think "huh..i wonder if her body aged to her adult form when she went evil?...wait that sounds familiar..." and i realized Luna and Chibiusa are parallels! think about it!

they both go evil, thinking they are unloved and unwanted, and when they both turn evil, they pretty much change into what their adult self will look like! hehehehe.

and now i can totally image Mistress 9, Wicked Lady and Nightmare Moon totally being besties and plotting to take over the world.<3

also, RD got the rainbow eyes when a rainbow had touched the ponyville flag on the floor...the two ponies next to a heart? so i'd think that would be her key, if it is one.

The key is whatever item shows a rainbow sheen towards the end of hte episode. Whenever they get the rainbow eyes, its them reaffirming their element, so perhaps for RD, when she saw that, it reminded her of how loyal she is to Ponyville, regardless of how good her teammates are.

Wait, wasn't RD's key the badge she received from the Wonderbolts in the episode 'Rainbow Falls'? And yeah, they all will get the rainbow sheen in their eyes throughout the season, as Brit has said, it's them reaffirming their elements and showing that they've still got them inside them and in their spirit, like in S1 E1&2. They don't physically have the element stones or whatever they're called, but they have the power of it inside them.

So I started watching this since basically everyone I talk to seems to love this show! Well, I'm only on the second episode of the first season, but so far it's cute in an uber cheesy way xD I'm really loving Fluttershy the most so far because I act the same way towards people and animals xD Uber shy when talking to someone I don't know, but I love animals all the muchies! I also heart Pinkie Pie, but who doesn't? The only one I'm not so fond of is Twilight Sparkle so far o.o She kind of annoys me! Sorry if someone here loves her to death, but I dunno o.o Just irks me for some reason xD But so far I'm liking it! So yay!!!

Just keep watching, you'll come to love them all in different ways. I didn't think too much of Twilight until later in the show. Same goes for Rarity.

I call myself a fan of MLP, yet have only seen one episode of Friendship is Magic (That episode being "Party of One"). From what i have seen, it's very cutesy and reminds me of both the first gen MLP and Tales.

@SailorKittyElyon, it is very slice of life with magic and adventurey/quest episodes thrown in. You should really watch all of it. Even the human pony movies have been amazing (I am in love with them and love the dolls).

GUUUYSSS WHY ARE WE NOT DISCUSSING SEASON 5 AND THE NEW EQUESTRIA GIRL MUSIC VIDEOS THAT WERE RELEASE.

Life is a Runway is probably my least favorite but its still enjoyable. Not as good as past Rarity songs though. I do like that they use popular background characters in it though.

Don't they usually just show a rerun after a 2 part season opener? They're probably repeating the second episode instead.

I watched the first season and liked it. I also watched the first two episodes of the second season and those were good. Third episode of season 2, TS(Twilight Sparkle) seemed so out of how she was usually was, that it turned me off. And I like at least two of the songs from it- The winter song and the True True Friend song.

But thats one of Twilight's best episodes! The best episodes are the ones where one of hte characters is having a meltdown. lol. Plus the placement of that episode is good because you can see her mature and not be as much of a worrywort by end of Se03 and throughout se04.

@Jupiterthundercrash, as far as I know its new ponies almost every Saturday except for maybe on holidays?? And from reading Equestria Daily, episode 3 is scheduled for tomorrow. ^_^

@pallasmercury I'm REALLY looking forward to this whole season and what they do with the villain. From what i understand this whole season is going to be based on world building and exploring Equestria on top of normal ponyville life episodes.

I'm used to the network repeating the second episode of a two parter for the beginning and end of seasons before showing a new episode, but maybe they're switching it up?

Oooh i see what you meant. Maybe they will? I don't have cable with that network so i've never watched MLP on tv. I just find it on youtube or something that day.

I am all caught up with all four seasons, and it's a shame they're going on hiatus for a couple months. I missed yesterday's episode but I'll catch up on it later today.

The show keeps on getting better and better, even if there are minor bumps in the road here and there.

I've been falling behind real bad. I need to catch up!

Since buying the one of the DVD sets last week, i've just completely skipped season 2 and gone to season 3

I've missed the last two eps of SE5. Whats everyone thinking of this one so far? I think its got some hits and misses for episodes but nothing too bad either. All around fairly enjoyable.

I'm enjoying it. ♥ I'm having a lot of fun watching it. I think they're still doing a good job.
