| Hey everyone! This is where we keep track of our word counts, etc. Just for good measure, I will keep all info from the signup thread in the spoiler just in case people would like to refer back without going to the old thread! - Rules, goals, etc:
The challenge is not limiting, for you can write whatever you like! For example:
- Poetry
- Role Playing
- Scripts
- Essays
- Songs
- Original Stories
- Fan Fiction
- Research and notes to take? No problem!
- Character profiles, story outlines, etc.
- Challenges, contests, hosting a mafia game
The list goes on really. The key thing is that you only count words that you use in your final draft. How do you keep count? I prefer to use ff.net doc manager since I do not have Microsoft Word. (Yes, my computer is that old, don't remind me!) To keep track of your words, everyone in the challenge is recommended to update their word count on a daily basis in the thread using a Nanowrimo word count tracker. This challenge will begin on August 10th and end on September 10thAre you interested in joining? If so please sign up below! | 2546 / 25000 words. 10% done! This is for the 10th and the 11th. I didn't get any writing done today and probably won't. I've been curled up with a vicious and relentless migraine all day. Nice way to warm up to writing and to help your word count is 100 word drabbles. Not only are they a fun challenge, its a good way to wake up your brain. I find I write a little bit better if I write 2-5 drabbles before writing anything else I'm working on. |

I got stuck a little until yesterday when I scrapped the original story idea for now, and focused instead on a Sailor Moon fanfic plot that randomly sprang at me in full force xD Haha <3 Hope to write lots more today but I have evil errands to do all day ;-; |

| 11650 / 25000 words. 47% done! I'm taking a break tomorrow. I'll do some drabbles, but nothing heavy. Two days of intense writing and I've worded myself out. But I finished a very brief story and I'm insanely thrilled because it came in under 6500 words and I never write anything that short. |
