I have personally watched the first Episode and I immediately fell in love with the story, quality, artwork, and the over all awesomeness of this fan made "AMV". I can't wait for the Second Ep!

Hm, I was wondering if I could ask a question about this. I just found out about this fanmade season a few weeks ago from a tumblr post. Naturally I had to spend long hours late into the night trying to find everything I could on this odd new season.

First of all, I adore the concept. I think it is beautifully Sailor Moon to have Usagi's sister posses the same kind nature as Usagi. I thought she was going to be played off as the "dark side" to "Usagi's light." From what I have seen, their relationship and affection for one another is just as it would be in the canon.

That aside ... I saw that the episode is in english and I imagine the rest will be in english as well. However, I found a few trailers that were in japanese. It was mind boggling. Some of the dialog sounded like they were the original lines taken from the japanese anime seasons, but some lines sounded like they were made up by a new japanese seiyuu. It confused me so much because the creators are english-speakers, no? I was not able to find an entire episode in japanese, just a trailer.

The reason for my fascination is because, quite honestly, I am a die-hard japanese seiyuu fan. So of course I would prefer to watch these episodes in japanese and not english.

Wow, I hadn't seen this. But to be honest, it does sound legit, however if it's not listed as done and produced by Kaosu Studios then I wouldn't say it is their's.


If you have any questions though I would recommend going to their facebook page and starting a discussion. They don't have any other way to get a hold of them I am afraid.

Our older trailers contain Japanese audio from the original seiyuu because we didn't have a full cast of English VAs at the time (mind you, we did manage to publish one or two with English VAs..but that's a tragedy in itself). The one you linked is "old" Sacrifice, before it became what it is today with improved editing and many, many changes to the overall story line.

Well now that you are here, I do hope that you will talk more about Sacrifice! Really, I spent hours searching youtube and google for all the information that I could get. It was the most amazing and surprising thing that I had ever seen.

Have you been making new episodes lately? And you said that the English VA's was a tragedy. Did you get new cast members?

We used to have a forum with most of the information one would need, but none of us have the time to maintain it anymore, so we stick with facebook (it's quick and easy!). One day we'll find one person willing to dedicate their time to a domain site and forum..one day!

We have been working on episode two for several months and still are! Unfortunately myself and AnimeBoost have become ridiculously busy with work and school, so progress has slowed down quite a bit. We're forever searching for new people to help out with the project to speed up this process. Regardless, we'll get there sooner or later!

We did replace the 'tragic' VAs with some incredibly talented people! We even have two people voicing two-three characters each!

Here is another one. This one shows Serenity and Kurai in the Moon Kingdom. It's rally awesome because there is japanese dialog (with subtitles) between them and a narrator! The love between these two sisters is so painfully beautiful.

Completely agree with you there, Lady! I'm very glad to see that they are still working very hard on this project, regardless that Kaosu and some of her staff have been quite busy this year. ^^ I'm so tempted to ask for an interview so that I could post it on this highlight because this project is very inspirational.

i love Kurai's new voice. and it's rare that i like fandubbed voices. (my favorite fandubber are Strawbellycake but she also voiced Rei in the official german HOTD-Dub so it dosent really count xD )

Oh I agree!!! I heard it and I was highly impressed! It's such quality!

I must agree that I also liked the new VA for Kurai as well. Her voice has an elegance and an "older" feel too - plus her mic quality is awesome! ^^
