Sailor fluttershy watched as the girl transformed into a senshi. She then it would be best to make her presence known. She was really tired of fighting youma ponies and needed a break but she knew she had to do this. She emerged from the bushes startling the girl.

"I'm sorry for startling you, but I'm sailor fluttershy and apparently were both kind of the same boat here. You're a senshi too, and I think you need to attack that youma pony before it gets us! Ill explain everything soon!" She retorted making her quick greeting before standing by sailor Twilight sparkle ready to vanquish the youma pony together.

Twilight was shocked. There were more girls like her?! What was going on here? "I need to do what now?" She asked as Sailor Fluttershy told her she needed to attack the youma pony. "How am I suppose to do that?!" She asked almost at a yell. "I don't even know what's going on?!"

The youma pony as Fluttershy called it got closer to them. Twilight threw up her hands and a bright purple light spilled from them. The youma hit the light and bounce back."What did I just do?" She asked the girl next to her." I just want to find the princess and go home." Twilight gasped as the youma came at them again. She screamed the first words that came to mind. "Sparkle Twinkle!" The purple light spilled out from around her again and this time when it touched the youma pony, the spell was broken and the poor person returned to normal.

Falling to her knees, Twilight looked up at Fluttershy." Now that that's over can you tell me what that was all about?" Twilight had always hated not knowing what was going on and this was one of those times she felt she should know what was going on around her. None of her books had prepared her for this.

Sailor Rarity continued admiring herself and her new outfit in the mirror. “Oh Amethyst, you lovely thing! I should take this to the runway! Hmm...I should probably figure out how to make something like this. I’ll examine it later in my shop.” she squealed happily, smoothing her gloved fingers over the skirt. She headed outside, deciding that wearing it about would be nice. Though the skirt was a tad short and the day/night was a tad breezy.

Then she stopped and blinked, seeing two girls dressed similar to her. “Oh dear Celestia, no! I can't, I simply CAN'T be seen in anything that isn't original!” she shrieked, pointing at the two senshi. She paused a moment from her dramatics as she looked around. “Oh how wonderful! That horrible monster with the lousy fashion sense is gone! Quite a horrible creature, do either of you girls know where it came from?” she looked toward them, a bit expectantly. Then she paused and frowned, staring at one of the girls. She approached her and got extremely close, looking her up and down.

How could she mistake that tiny voice, that shy demeanor, the avoidance of eye contact? “Kandise?!!” she shrieked, unable to believe such a shy girl would be dressed so stylishly. And were those wings on her back? She began examining Kandise's fuku, feeling the skirt and wings. She had to admit, the boots were rather nice, and over all, the outfit seemed to be fitting Kandise's personality perfect. The girl did seem to love nature, for whatever reason she couldn't fathom. Nature was simply so dirty, though it could be rather inspiring at times. She felt a vague urge now to design an entire new line of nature based fashions. Darn, she still hadn't gotten the fabrics she needed from the shop!

Kandise was feeling very overwhelmed with the two senshi now in her face screaming things at her and when people got in her face and raised their voices, hers would become smaller.

"Um well you are both sailor senshi like me and princess Celestia said there's six of us to complete the team. There are two others besides the three of us who are awakened as senshi. Nightmare moon keeps turning people into youma ponies and wishes to seal the world into eternal darkness. She wants us to find the elements of harmony and once we bring them together, then we can seal her away." Sailor fluttershy explained.

"And Amethyst if you must know its me Kandise." She sighed collapsing on the ground. Four youma ponies in one night was quite enough for her.

Twilight wasn't hearing this. She knew that Nightmare Moon was back but she was a bookworm not a fighter. "Ok so there are 6 of us. That's good, at least we're not alone in this." She stood up. "Ok so this is really weird, but we can handle this, especially if the Princess wants us to." Everything changed when Celestia wanted Twilight to do something. She felt so tired. She wanted to be herself again and with that thought in a flash of purple light she was her normal self again.

She didn't know who Kandise or Amethyst were, but she guessed that they knew each other from around town. "I have to get back to the Library." She said. "I suggest that you to come with me. Maybe we can figure out where to find the elements of harmony and you can get some rest." She said to the Kandise girl. "OH! Spike! Where are you?" She hadn't noticed that the little dragon had gotten off her shoulder in all the commotion. She hoped he was ok where ever he was.

"I here Twila!" He called as he ran over to her.

"Oh Spike are you ok?" She asked squatting down to look at the dragon.

"Yeah I'm fine. Twila that was so cool!" He said climbing on her shoulder. "How did you do that?"

"I don't know Spike but I hope to find out." She said smiling. She turned to look at the two girls still in their fukus. "Are you two coming with us or do you have some place else to be?" She asked politely. She wanted to ask about what they went through and Kandise seemed to know more than anyone else. "If you feel up to it, " She said to Kandise, "I'd like to ask you about what's going on."

Cold.
The world was dark and cold.
Princess Celestia sat in the dark, dank cell, thinking of everything that had just happened. She had been taken from Canterlot by Nightmare Moon. It felt like days ago, but was it? She didn't know where she was, all she could do was wait for...what? She didn't know. She felt powerless and isolated. She didn't know how Equestria was faring in the eternal night, or even if her student, Twila, was safe. She was the princess, a voice bloomed in her, and protecting Equestria was her duty. How could she preform that stuck in this damp cave? Stuck with her guilt, and memories.
With new determination, she rose to her feet, her royal robes still untarnished by the dirty environment. But as she walked to the cell door she heard it open, creaking and dry with rust.
"Come. Her Grace, Nightmare Moon, requests the...pleasure of your company." Two burly guards stood there, one holding up a glowing lantern, the other speaking to her, his eyes sparking with malice, his words laced with venom. He held his halberd firmly, looking ready to use it.
Straight and proud, Princess Celestia crossed the threshold of the door and followed them to Nightmare Moon, the avatar of the night. Her beloved sister, Princess Luna.

Kandise looked at twila after she detrasnformed back into her civilian clothes. She felt tired and just wanted a good nights rest and maybe a snack. All this fighting had worn her out and and made her hungry too. She knew her mother was probably worried sick about her as well, but she would be all right. She just wanted to get all of this straightened out and find the last senshi, so they could put an end to all of this.

"Um of course ill come back with you if you'd like me too. Ill tell you everything I know in exchange for a small snack and some sleep you know if it isn't too much trouble and all." She said softly shuffling her feet.

Amethyst couldn't believe this! Shy little Kandise was talking about fighting these creatures and finding the missing Princess Celestia? It sounded like an awful lot of work, and filled with the possibility of damaging her flawless skin or breaking a nail. The outfit was almost worth it though. She looked down, brushing her hand on her skirt again. She lifted her head as she heard the new girl talking about Spike? Maybe it was a friend. She looked around intrigued, then let out a loud shriek as she saw the bearded dragon.”Oh my goodness, what is it?! Shoo, shoo! Evil, yucky nasty lizard thing! Oh it's so horrible and it's.....IT TALKS!!” she shrieked, nearly fainting to hear an animal, much less a lizard talking.

She was so busy with her dramatics, she almost missed Twilight's invitation. Food actually sounded quite good right now. She dropped her theatrics in favor of a demure, graceful flip of the hair. “Why yes, I would simply love to join you for a little snack! Though I really would much prefer to be in my usual dress, it was much more suited for a social occasion than this thing. It seems more like something a fan would wear to an anime convention!” as she spoke, she was aware of a strange feeling. In a similar flash like Twilight, her fuku disappeared and her lovely sundress was there again.”Oh my! Instant clothes change! Why, this would be FABULOUS for a fashion show! I wonder if I can make it do that with other outfits!” Amethyst squealed, once again engrossed in herself and this strange new ability she had.

Nightmare Moon sent her guards to go collect her sister from her cell. She smiled to herself. She couldn't wait to see the defeated expression on Celestia's face. She'd finally succeeded in beating her. But when Celestia was escorted in she looked proud. This angered Nightmare Moon even more. "Well Celestia. Are you proud of banishing me to the moon? And now you have those stupid Scouts after me. Who are they? What is their power source? Tell ME!" Nightmare Moon said.

Twila smiled. "Alright then, let's go." She started off towards the library. She walked between the two of them. "Sorry if Spike scared you. I know not maybe people are used to talking animals let alone dragons." She said. "Oh were are my manners. I'm Twila and you've already met Spike." She gestured to her shoulder where the little dragon rode. She didn't know what else to say so she walked in silence. Twila wondered if this would help her get back to Canterlot. If she did this and was able to save the princess maybe Celestia would let Twila come back.

As she unlocked the door and walked in she said." Well here we are. Kandise, the bedroom is upstairs if you'd like to rest before we talk, and I'm sorry I don't know you're name, but I have a bunch of stuff in the kitchen if you want to eat something." Twila smiled and headed over to the books. Maybe she could find something out here about what was going on. "When you feel up to it I would love to hear about what you know about what's going on. Maybe we can work out a plan or something." She was grasping at straws, she always hated not knowing what's going on and this was no different.

Celestia stood with her head up high, staring down her sister. How could she have become so twisted? It was Celestia's fault; her own lack of attention.
Her younger sister had grown considerably, and matured. But her spirit, that had changed the most. Her eyes were filled with darkness. Celestia pretended to consider the demand.
"No. I will not tell you where their powers come from. Not until you awaken to your true self, Luna."
Truth to tell, Celestia didn't know herself. She dreamt something odd, she knew that. It was like a cacophony of voices, telling her something. It seemed like half a memory, but... But right now Celestia was in danger. She couldn't go off dreaming when the present required her full attention as it did now.
Celestia closed her eyes. She couldn't cry or show weakness. Who knows what Nightmare Moon would do. But was Luna truly gone?

OOC:

Amethyst was much more comfortable in her sundress as she walked with the two girls. Though she edged more towards Kandise and away from Twila and her talking(yuck) lizard. She was mildly surprised to see that Twila led them to the library. She lived in the library? How odd. She looked around a bit, vaguely bored with the familiar scene. She had often come here on the rare occasion she needed help or information about something to do with sewing. It was comfy enough, though she was currently debating on perhaps building a room above her shop and living there. Would the rent be expensive? Not that it REALLY mattered.

She was broken out of her reverie by Twila and smiled dashingly, giving her hair a deft flip with her fingers. “Oh, me? I am Amethyst! Lovely to meet, really. And thank you, I am quite peckish. Perhaps a nice cheese and mushroom omlette would be tasty.” she commented before she drifted to the kitchen, trying to figure out exactly what it was she had a taste for now. It would be much easier figuring out if she knew if it were time for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea time or dinner.

Kandise smiled at twila. She seemed nice enough, and she decided it would probably be best to explain things to both of them. She sighed really Amethyst didn't have a clue. She thought she would eat first before going into conversation. She smiled at Spike as she pet him on the head.

"I just love animals! Such an adorable baby dragon!" She cooed scratching his head. Spike was very much enjoying the attention until Twila gave him a look.

"Well on to the kitchen then!" Kandise said nervously as she followed right behind Amethyst. She fisnlly decided on a simple sandwich and a glass of juice. The three of them were all sitting at a table ready to hear her explanation.

"We'll it all started this afternoon at the party. I was hiding under the table when nightmare moon appeared. Celestia appeared to me in a hologram explaining that we would be a team of six including myself. In one night I fought four youma ponies and have almost discoverd all of you. The other two missing girls are Risa who's sailor pinkie pie and Jesse who's sailor apple jack. I have no idea who the other member is yet, but I do know that Celestia told me we all have to become one and release the elements of harmony to seal nightmare moon away." Kandise explained.

Twila giggled and held Spike out for Kandise to pet. "He's a sweetie. I would be lost with out him most of the time." She said giving a loving pat to his head. "He really helps me keep it together." She smiled.

Twila followed the other girls to her kitchen and opted for a simple glass of tea. She wasn't all that hungry for food, but for information. She said down and listened as Kandise told her what she knew.

"At the Party?" Twila questioned. That was strange. She had been on her way when everything went belly up. She said nearly spitting out her drink. That wasn't good. "In the span of one night you managed to find 5 of us? Wow Kandise that's great!" She needed to find that book on the Elements of Harmony. "If the Princess said that we need to do this then we should. I just wonder if we'll be able to help before it's to late." She said sitting back. "Kandise feel free to rest upstairs or on the couch, and Amethyst, make yourself at home too. I'm going to see if I can't find something that might give us the location of the Elements of Harmony. I know the princess used them to seal Nightmare Moon away once maybe that's what she hopes we can do again." She didn't know if they could.

Spoiler:

"The couch is fine." Kandise replied knowing Amethyst would probably want the bed, and she really wasn't in the mood to hear about why she deserved to sleep on the bed than the couch. She had never felt so tired in all her life and as soon as she had lied down, she was falling asleep into a bunch of horrible nightmares about pony youmas and an evil princess named nightmare moon. Eventually the nightmares ceased and she fell into a deep sleep.

Nightmare Moon sneered at her sister's reply. "My true self?! This is my true self dear sister." Nightmare Moon yelled. Suddenly she saw a look of confusion cross Celestia's face and then a look that morphed into sadness that showed for mearly a second and changed. Nightmare Moon laughed gently to herself and then it grew into a maniacal laugh. "It seems that I have misjudged you sister. You may not know all of the answers I seek. Nevertheless I will beat these insignificant girls!" Nightmare Moon said, "Guards take her back to the dungeon I currently have no more need for her."

As her sister walked away and the guards all left a small part of Nightmare Moon longed to run to her sister and hug her. A saddened look crossed her face for only a second. But that second could change everything. Was Luna really dead inside of Nightmare Moon?

BUMP!!!

Twila's guests had fallen asleep but she was still up and working on finding a way to the Elements of Harmony. She couldn't sleep till she knew what she needed to do, but where would she find the information she needed? She started by looking through all her older books and wondered if she shouldn't send off for others but there wasn't time. Twila had to find a way to defeat Nightmare Moon and soon. She read through anything and all she found is what she already knew. This was getting her no where. Maybe instead of trying to find the Elements right now they should try to find the other member of their group. Kandise said that there should be 6 but they had only found 5. That might be a better place to start once they found the last person they could really find a way to get the Elements and defeat Nightmare Moon.

Twila sighed and went to her window, the sun should be coming up, but instead night wasn't letting the day come. This would be really bad if they couldn't figure out how defeat Nightmare Moon. Her mind wandered to all the horrid things that could happen if she wasn't stopped. Twila shook her head and sighed again. She should make some coffee and get started on trying to figure out what the 5 of them had in common so maybe they could find the last Senshi fast. This was going to be a trying time, she could feel it, but she wouldn't give up. The sooner this was over maybe just maybe the sooner she could go back Home.

Kandise arose from her slumber and opened her eyes and hazily looked around. There was a clock hanging in the living room, and she noticed it read 7:00 am. She sighed raking her fingers through her hair. She had hoped yesterday had all been a horrible dream, but she was guessing it wasn't since there was no sunshine blanketing the hardwood floor. The night had swallowed the following day up as nightmare moon had promised. She stretched her arms and walked towards the kitchen to see Twila roused early. Kandise wondered if she had stayed up all night.

"Good morning Twila." Kandise yawned as she joined her at the table she was sitting at. The purple haired girl looked distressed.


"Do you need some help with anything?" Kandise offered warmly trying her best not to bring up scary battles or evil princesses.

Twila had been hitting her head against the table. She was out of ideas. She didn't know where to start looking for the 6th member of their little team and she had no idea where the elements were. She didn't hear kandise come into the kitchen. She hoped that she hadn't woken her with her head desking. "Ok Kandise, I have no idea." She said her head falling back to the table with a loud thud. "I can't seem to find anything on where the elements might be or how to find the other senshi." She said not looking up from the table. She hadn't slept. She'd been through several pots of coffee and she knew that it would show.

She started her banging again. gently up and down on the table with her forehead. She always did this when she hit a block. "If only I could get to the library in the Castle." She wished. She really wanted to go home, but she couldn't leave yet, they needed to stop Nightmare Moon but how?

Kandise sighed, really wanting to pull her hair out at the moment. Why did they have to be sailor senshi? Why did it all have to fall on their shoulders? Suddenly she had an epiphany. She felt as if the fog had cleared as perhaps the best idea she'd ever had had crawled right out of a dark cranny in her head.

"What if the elements are something inside each of us?" she inquired to Twila. She felt something warm rising within her soul. Had what they had been searching for been inside each one of them all along?

Spoiler:

Twila stopped banging her head on the table and looked at kandise. No, it couldn't be that simple could it? She shot out of her seat and ran to the library. "Oh where is that book?!" She asked herself. "SPIKE! Where is that book?!" The dragon wasn't even in the room, where he was she didn't know all she knew is she had to find that book. "AH HA! She said raising the book in question above her head. "Found it!" She plopped on the floor criss-cross applesauce and opened the old bound book. She flipped through the pages till she found the passage she was looking for.

She read aloud the passage on the page before her, her voice thick with thought and wonder.
"...And the Elements where sealed away in the hearts of others to protect against the future threats. Those who embody the element in all aspects of their life would be the chosen wielders. When the longest night falls they shall rise with the lights in their hearts to guide them to the Sun once again.”

Smiling she jumped up and ran to Kandise. "You're right! You have to be!" Twila grabbed the girl and hugged her tight. "Oh sorry." She said blushing and letting go of the other girl. "I got excited." She had found what they needed.

"We have to find the last of the Senshi. That's the key I think." Twila said sitting down and reading the book again. "Spike, coffee!" Twila finally had hope again.

Kandise felt her cheeks redden from Twila's hug. She wasn't used to having real friends who gave her hugs or showed her affection. Perhaps she could be friends with all of these girls: Twila, Risa, Amethyst, and Jesse. They were all a team! She smiled at the thought of finally fitting in somewhere.

"I think I'll go see if Amethyst is awake! We should find the other soldier as soon as possible." Kandise informed Twila as she marched up the stairs to the room Amethyst had been sleeping in.

"Amethyst are you awake yet? We need you downstairs!" She said hesitantly hoping she was awake.

Amethyst sat in the girl, Twila's, bathroom. It really was lacking in feminine facilities, but luckily she always went out prepared! Her portable make up kit she kept in her purse was spread out all over the bathroom counter as she very carefully did her lip liner and lip gloss. One could never be too careful!

She was just pulling the lip gloss wand from her now pretty pink lips, when she could hear Kandise calling from downstairs, making her jump a little. It was a good thing she was almost done, or she would of simply had to give the shy girl a piece of her mind if she had ruined all her precious work!

She huffed indignantly before she opened the door, calling back as sweetly as she could. “Yes! I’ll be down in a few minutes!” though of course by a few minutes, she meant another half hour or so. Perfection should simply never be rushed, she thought to herself as she sat back down at the counter and began the careful process of applying eye shadow to perfectly match her dress.

Twila ran around the library looking for something. "Twila, you're coffee is getting cold." Spike said from her shoulder. "Do you know how hard it is for a Dragon to make coffee and you're just letting it go cold." He muttered.

Oh right! She was looking for coffee."Thanks Spike." She said picking up the mug and flipping through her book once more. She heard that Amethyst would be down in a few moments. That's good. She read over the passage again about the Elements. "Laughter, Honesty, Generosity,Loyalty, Kindness and Magic." She whispered. What did each one of them possess? Twila wondered and she looked out the window. She had been told that there were two others that had been found. Jesse and Risa. Twila wanted to meet these girl as soon as possible. Maybe she could help find the missing member of their team. Twila paused. Had she just thought of these girls as a team? Would they be friends? She shook her head. The sooner they freed the princess the sooner she could go back to Canterlot and finish her studies in peace, without all this mess of Elements and Nightmare Moon.

"Ok so if I had to guess, I would say that Kandise posses the element of Kindness." That seemed a given considering the girls composure. Soft spoken and always willing to help. Amethyst, what did she posses? She didn't seem to display any of the qualities of any of the elements but appearances could be deceiving. So what about the others? Could Twila say that she would be able to guess what girl possessed which element? It could help but if Amethyst was any thing to go by maybe they wouldn't show their element at first. Maybe it takes time.

Standing up, Twila took her mug to the sink. "Kandise, we need to go. Where is Amethyst?" She asked walking to the bottom of the stairs. "What in the world is taking her so long?"

Risa woke up the next morning to her alarm clock going off. She was usually a morning person, but since they nights are endless she had to make sure she didn't sleep her days away. She got out of bed and went over to her window and gazed at the moon. Risa always thought the moon was lovely, but she missed the sun dearly. Seeing the sun always brought a smile to her face.

She let out a sigh and said, "I better go find Kandise and Jesse." Risa then went to go take a shower to get ready for the day.

Kandise shuffled her feet a bit glancing up at Twila. She knew this girl could get mad if she wanted to. She also had an air about her that made Kandise want to follow her and do anything she said. She had to be their leader.

"Um she was getting ready and said she would be down in a minute but it might be best if you go talk to her because I think she is just going to keep ignoring me." Kandise sighed hoping Twila could set Amethyst straight.
