The four of you will work together to save the camping area/ destroy the creature/ save the world.

I will be popping in and out to give background hints etc. Don't expect much to happen on day 1.

There really isn't much left for me to add except the scenery.... since this story is about you all discovering everything yourselves through RP.

Hallo, peeps! I'm Sailor Mars for this trip. I'll post after some one else does so I can get a feel of how things are written.

I can't post first, since I am the monster and I have to wait till you guys do stuff

I have a feeling I am going to extend this RP to an entire week.

Whining and complaining, Usagi hauled up her giant duffle bag and shuffled her way down the dirt path to the cabin, every utterance some kind of 'woe is me'. Her bag was heavy, and not even their beautiful surroundings could take her mind from the tiring chore at hand. She took the stairs to the cottage one at a time, then pushed the bag across the decking towards the door. Fumbling with the keys to the cabin, she leaned over the purple giant of a bag and managed to get the key into the lock and turn. The door swung open with a creek, and Usagi resumed her pushing.

Eventually she resorted to sitting on the floor with her back to the bag and scooting the both of them into the main living room, but as soon as she was satisfied that she was in, she pounced up and excitedly yelled "We're here!" She flung her arms wide and spun in a circle taking in the rustic furniture and the expansive outdoor scenery.

"C'mon, you guys! You have to come see this!"

((Please feel free to make it so Usagi skimped out of a more serious chore to explain why she got in the cabin first with her huge bag. XD ))

Rei grazed her fingernails across her scalp and through her hair, causing the sticky strands of hair to slide across her cheek and off of her forehead, a most welcome relief. Although the forest air held cool and crisp in the open valley, trudging up the dirt trail surrounded by invasive shrubbery did nothing but aid in making the breeze feel stagnant and thick.

Her overtly large duffle bag was proving to only cause further duress to the situation.

She sighed, wondering how she had allowed Usagi to persuade her into bringing such an obscene abundance of unnecessary clothing and accessories, for certainly how much of an audience would be at the top of a deserted mountain?

Clearly, someone on the radio show had been in a snarky mood when he or she had set the location of this "camping trip."

Usagi's elated squeal rippled through the air, once again reminding Rei as to why she was in such a predicament in the first place. Her thick unruly hair still clung mercilessly to the back of her neck and bare shoulders.

"Usagi..." she murmured darkly, allowing her bag to settle to the ground in a puff of dirt and a dull thud as she approached the grounds of the cabin.

She reached out and deftly managed to grasp onto the twirling girl's right shoulder, halting her ridiculous erratic movements with steely resolve.

Ami made her way down the path somewhat behind Usagi. A fairly overstuffed backpack with sleepingbag dtrapped on top made her hunch slightly as she walked and in her hands she carried a camp stove and a few cases of water. Sweat beaded on her brow as she tried to blow a strand of blue hair out of her eyes without using her hands.

Usagi chan had been so eager to get there she'd run off before they could divide the camping and cooking supplies amongst each other. But as the cabin finally came into view some of that same ecitement rubbed off on Ami. This is beautiful!, she thought as she made it, panting, to the doorway of the cabin and set everything down.

Ami couldn't help but smile as her friend spun around in exuberant glee. "Oh this is beautiful Usagi-chan.", she said, "And I think there is even supposed to be a lake!" It was looking like it would be a eonderful time.

But one look at Rei and Ami knew Usagi was going to get an earful. "Rei-chan..." Here they go again. Ami sighed.

Makoto sighed as she set the bags of food and cooking supplies next to her. Everything made a loud thud, even though she made it look like the bags were light as a feather as she carried them. She put her hand on her hip glancing at Usagi.

"Usagi...you didn't even help bring up the food!" She gave the blonde a look of annoyance, but quickly sighed and grinned at her friend. That girl could always make her smile, no matter what. Seeing her happy always made her day. Mako then headed over to the kitchen with the supplies. She began pulling out several bento box lunches.

"Who's ready for lunch?" She shouted, knowing that would grab at least one person's attention. And Mako didn't need to even guess who.

((I was thinking anime, just 'cause this smacks of a filler episode xD))

"A lake? Really?" Usagi called out excitedly, responding to Ami's announcement while she still spun.

She was just starting to get dizzy when Rei's hand grasped her shoulder, halting her rotation. Despite her friend's steely, almost reproachful look, Usagi smiled goofily at her - or, what she thought was her, just choosing the closer of the two images that danced in her mind's eye. "Heeheeheee, Hiiii Rei-chan!" she greeted, her head slightly wobbly.

Makoto's initial comment on her unhelpfulness went by without comment... but her lunch announcement, on the other hand, fell on very attentive ears. "Me!" she cried, throwing her hand in the air as if she were an eager student and nearly knocking herself off balance; if not for Rei's hand on her shoulder, she probably would have fallen over completely, possibly taking the other girl down with her.

Michiru was one of the last to hike up the mountain, she wanted to enjoy the view.for a bit. Michiru sat her bags down over by everyone else`s and looked towards Usagi.She yelled over to Usagi "Usagi you go to be careful here you could of injured you self or someone else". she let lose a slight sigh and crossed her arms while smiling.

Michiru wiped off some sweat of of her forehead and tied her hair into a ponytail ,she also had a small water bottle around her waist.

"Sure Makoto, I would love to have some."Michiru said politely.

The owner of the cabin, pulled up at the bottom of the hill in his white pick up truck. Paul was an older man, in his early 60s, and had no interest in staying at his cabin ever since his wife died. He didn't want to see it go to waste, so every year he allowed the radio station to use it as part of a contest get away.

He climbed up the hill to the cabin to check on the girls. He wanted to warn them about the dangerous animals in the forest, and what to do in case of a bad storm.

(((sorry for semi "controlling your characters here" but this just me dropping in and stuff to lead you guys in the MYSTERY CAMPING TRIP! MUAHAHAHAHA)))

Once all the girls came out on the porch to welcome and thank him, Paul continued started to ramble off his "what if this should happen list"

"......beware of snakes, if you should see one........ bears have been spotted in the early mornings down in the open field.........if a storm should occur, there is a door located under the kitchen window outside which goes to an underground shelter......"

Rei noticed that Paul seemed a bit worried about something, and her with her special abilities, she was often never wrong of such things.

When asked about his worried emotion, Paul couldn't help but to also warn the girls that there was something weird happening lately around the camping facility. He said there have been some recent accounts of people coming into contact with a something strange creature while walking the forest paths. He also explained that the reports had come from a group of younger children and due to their age, no one was really taking them seriously. But since Paul owned property in the camping facility, he felt he should still warn the girls, although he himself didn't believe it himself. At least this is what he told the girls.

After some chit chatting, one of the girls offered Paul a soda. Paul declined and said that he had to return to his house to take care of some things before the night fell. On that note, he bid the girls a farewell with a friendly old smile, and made his way back to his truck.

Cocking her eyebrow, Makoto watched the man drive off. "Well, I'm not worried! I think we can take on anything at this point." She playfully punched her left hand with her right, as if ready for a smack down. She turned to go inside, their lunch still sitting on the table, most of theirs half eaten, except for Usagi's, which was almost gone. Good thing Makoto thought to pack a second bento just for her.

"I don't want my food to go to waste. Let's finish eating!" She cheerfully walked back over to the table finish her bento.

"Heh heh heh... yeah, I'm not worried either..." Usagi nervously lied, grasping her hands together as she peered cautiously into the early-afternoon shadows of the woods.

Ami promised the man that they would be careful before he left, but she was not about to allow worry to creep into their wonderful camping trip. "I'm not worried either Mako-chan! And plus, I brought this.", she said turning to rummage in her backpack, reaching all the way to the bottom where she had stashed a few books. Well, maybe more than just a few.

Ami pulled out the Hikers Field Guide she had purchased before leaving and put it on the table. "It has poisonous snakes, bugs, and plants in it. We're going to have such a good time here.", Ami said as she took her seat and began to once more savor Makoto's delicious bento box.

When they finally finished lunch, AMi asked, "So what do you guys want to do next?"

Rei watched the cabin owner leave, her mood have quieted into pensive thought over his words. Although the heat of the mid-day sun still pressed against her back, something cold lurked beneath her skin.

Makato's announcement of lunch broke her from her revere and she silently followed the group back, still unable to break the underlying feeling of something important that she could not quite place. She chewed her meal wordlessly, brows furrowed with distant thought and eyes fixated unseeingly on a spot on the table.

Could it have been a youma who set up that radio station contest? Was this all one diabolical plan to seek out the Senshi once again?

"I-" she began but was cut off by Ami's inquiry.

"So what do you guys want to do next?"

Rei studied the remains of her lunch on her plate. Maybe she was just overreacting.

Usagi, reclining back in her seat after finishing the last bite of her delicious bento, took a deep, satisfied breath, her trepidation about the cabin owner's warning completely forgotten in the savory taste of the meal, as was the creepy book of spiders and other dangerous things that Ami had put on the table.

"Hmm...." she mused aloud at Ami's question, wondering herself what she wanted to do... but it came to her in an instant. "Swimming!" she suggested, her eyes flying open enthusiastically, "Let's go swimming!"

"Sounds fun!" Makoto responded enthusiastically, "There is supposed to be a lake. Let's find it!"

Makoto picked up her one bag of stuff. The other bags had all been for the kitchen supplies and food. She slung the bag over her shoulder.

"Oh you know, we need to decide who gets what room," Mako grinned, "Last one has to sleep on the floor!" She darted off into one of the rooms, claiming a bed, wondering what chaos would ensue after her declaration.

"That`s a simple challenge." Michiru responed.she ran to the last room of the cabin,and sat down on the wooden bed.

"This room is taken!" She yelled down the hall. Michiru quickly when back out of the room and grabbed her bags for the door way,and set them into her room.

Suddenly a weird creature stood up against the side of the cabin, peaking into the living room window. It's nails made a clink noise as they came in contact with the wood of the cabin. It stared at Usagi with it's ice like blue eyes piercing through the shadow that covered it's face.

(If you guys notice me, or go outside to find me, I will have vanished but with no foot prints to be found)

"Last one has to sleep on the floor!"

Usagi started and fell off of her chair, landing hard on her side, yet still managed to wiggle her way to her huge bag. She pulled herself up on her knees and then stood, her hands trying to bring the heavy duffle with her, but it was no use. It wouldn't budge. She groaned with the effort, then stopped, fell back onto her knees, and unzipped the huge bag. The other girls' positions, whether they had claimed a room or not, seemingly didn't matter at present - she just started throwing items around the room in an attempt to lighten her load.

Candy, snacks, chocolate bars, cheese-puffs all went flying. Soon two stacks of manga were on the floor beside the bag, along with a hairdryer and a framed picture of her and Mamoru, taken earlier that year at their engagement party, followed by another framed picture of her and all of her friends - both taken from the bag and placed on the floor. She stood again and pulled; this time, the bag lifted marginally and, smiling triumphantly, she looked up to see if anyone was still at the table.

Instead her gaze was caught by two icy eyes that stared at her through the cabin window and, instinctively, she screamed.

"KYAAAAAAAAAA!!"

Ami couldn't help but smile at Usagi's suggestion of swimming. She had been wanting to see the lake since they had arrived. But before she could grab her bathing suit, a towel, and maybe that new romance book she'd packed to read by the shore, a scramble for rooms had begun.

"I'm sure there are enough rooms for all of us guys.", she said, but the fun and competitive nature of the game made her hurry after Michiru. She claimed the closes un-claimed room, on the left side with a view into deep woods, and tossed her field guide book onto the bed to claim it.

"I've got this one.", Ami said as she headed back out into the main room, only to find Usagi's belongings scattered all over the floor. Intrigued, Ami inquired, "Usagi-chan, what are you..." But her words were cut off by a bloodcurdling scream coming from her golden-haired friend. Ami instinctively ran in and followed Usagi's gaze, and she let out a surprised gasp of her own.

Those eyes! Ami was frozen for a second, or maybe two as ice cold eyes leered in at them from the window piercing through the shadows with a look of pure malice. "Hey!", she yelled, the shock wearing off quickly as shr ran out the door after whatever it was.

((Aw, Ami!! XD you're my hero!))

Makoto dropped her bathing suit she had managed to fish out of her bag the second she heard Usagi's scream. A chill ran down her spine because she knew that was a true Usagi scream. Makoto ran out of her room to see a terrified Usagi down the hall in the living room, looking terrified on the floor with her bag's contents scattered everywhere. She saw the blur of Ami running out the door.

"Wait! Ami! What's going on?" She yelled running towards the door.

The creature had taken off, but with no foot prints to be found except for two in the mud, where the creature was standing against the cabin. No foot prints could be found anywhere else, and this was strange since it was the first dry day after a rainy week. Surely the muddied ground should have supported some type of evidence.

Indents from the creature's claws were left on the side of the window along with a thin layer of ice plastered to the wood. Even with the intense summer sun, the ice was taking a long time to melt. Traces of ice could also be found in the initial two foot prints on the ground.

"Out here!", Ami called to Makoto, who would soon find Ami kneeling down on the ground looking alternately at a solo set of footprints in the mud and scratches down the side of the cabin.

"It's gone.", she said , still looking a bit wide eyed as she turned to her friend. "There was something at the window just now." She touched the layer of ice along one of the scratches lightly with a finger, looking pensive. "It wasn't human Mako-chan."

Michiru hurried outside where the others was gathering, there were some claw marks on the cabin. she didn't get to see or hear what was happening since she was on the far end of the cabin. she pushed the door open and joined the others.

"what happened here, is everyone ok?" she said.

"Youma..." Mako muttered, staring at the strange foot prints that lead no where. Its like it vanished completely. Makoto's heart sunk. She had really hoped that they could all get a vacation, quiet, no monsters, no fighting. While she was prepared for anything, she did not wish for anything to happen.

"I think we're going to have to be on our toes more," Makoto turned to Ami, "Usagi saw it first right? It could be after her. We have to protect her."

She held a determined expression on her face.

"And while we're at it, we're going to make the best of this vacation. For Usagi."

Makoto said the word Ami was trying not to vocalize, as if not saying it would mean it wasn't true. But logically, there was no denying it.

"Yes. You're right.", Ami said, nodding as Mako-chan brought up the idea that the youma might be after their frind. "We'll have to be very watchful from now on. It will probably come back again." Her eyes turned serious and focused. She had wanted so much for this to be a fun break, especially for Usagi. Now it was very likely that she was in danger.

"Hai Mako-can", she said, smiling reassuringly. The would keep Usagi safe, and make the best of the vacation for hersake.

Ami looked up to see Michiru come running out. "Michiru, there was a youma out here, but it's gone now. I think we're safe for the moment."
